This elegant barbershop is clearly on a mission to give men and well-behaved boys 7 and older a space to not only get a haircut but do it "the right way." Can't wait to bring my boys and show them what it was like for me as kid to get a haircut with my dad. My barber, Fabiano, was exemplary. He listened attentively to what I wanted and then shared his honest opinion on what my hair/head would allow. Then he got to work! Worst hair cut I've ever gotten. I'm new to the neighborhood so I thought I'd try this place. I have long hair so I told the guy I just wanted a trim and to get rid of the split ends/frizzy hair and to clean up the back of the neck. He said ok but about 5 minutes into the cut it became clear he didn't speak ANY English. He spent about 10 minutes on what was scheduled and charged as a 45 minute cut, and didn't cut off any of the split ends or frizzy hair and did a terrible job on the back of the neck and side burns. Now I have to go somewhere else tomorrow and try to get them to fix this mess. Never coming here again. What a waste of time and money. Hire people who can speak English, that is the absolute least you could do. read more

Been going here for a while now and I must say, this place is legit! I found Barbearia after doing a thorough search (I wished they posted more haircut pictures on IG). It's never easy finding a new barber - one you can trust but Cristofer is the man! He listens to what you want, doesn't cut corners and makes sure your cut is what you wanted. Most importantly, he is on time and I really appreciate that! The shop has a vintage look and feel - nice decor, clean, good vibes (they have a motorcycle in the shop - pretty cool!). It's located in Marietta square with plenty of parking and prices are reasonable. Appointments are easy to make online and I would suggest you do so to make your experience more seamless. Narrow place in a 3 store commercial building. 8 chairs, 4 on each side close together. I checked in with a guy who looked better suited for a bouncer at Tattletales. After Mr Personality checked me in I see just a couple of chairs in what could only be described as a "phone booth" waiting room. Ambiance=1*. My female stylist was professional, the cut was just ok. 4*. I guess this is the new way for a man to get a haircut in a very busy city. In and out, no frills, assembly line setup, $40. Meh. I enjoy the experience of relaxing in a comfortable chair, shooting the breeze with my stylist while sipping a drink. Getting groomed shouldn't make you feel line you're driving in rush hour. I'm sure that a lot of the staff here are great barbers, as I saw many happy customers, however I don't believe in giving an English speaking customer a non-fluent or uncommunicative barber without checking if they understand what haircut the costumer wants. The barber never asked me once if the cut was correct or for clarification if he was doing it well. Midway through the cut I just accepted my hair wasn't going to turn out how I would've wanted (which is fine, it grows back) but then he sent me off without even showing me that the back wasn't blended, nor did it much the style of the front. I came back in so he could fix it and nothing changed he just kept making it shorter. Never once apologized or spoke to me and looked upset that I even came back in to fix it. He even lied to the manager and said he showed me the back. Again, put customers with someone who can have ongoing communication with them. Now I'm stuck having to go to another barber shop to fix this mess read more

I have taken both of my boys to this shop about 4 times and every time is a great experience. I think most everyone in the shop has cut one or the other of my son's hair. All of the haircuts have been great. The owner is super kind and appreciative of your business. The shop itself is really cool and gives a true barber shop vibe. There is plenty of seats for waiting but rarely does anyone wait for more than a few minutes. The online booking is easy and quick. I stumbled upon this shop by reading reviews and I am so glad that I did. For those men with beards, what a cool place to go to get a hair cut and beard maintenance. Truly top notch service! Got a haircut last week here with Cristofer, want to start off by saying, due to covid they've done a good job of spacing out appts and keeping the number of people in the shop at one time low. All barbers wear face coverings at all times in the shop. The atmosphere was very relaxing, I know in some barber shops it can be extremely loud and kind of "clique"-Like. But Cristofer was a really chill guy to talk to and made me feel comfortable as a first time customer. We talked about what I wanted to do with my hair and he had no issues in understanding and i will say it was honestly one of the best if not the best haircut I've had to date. I just got my first haircut here today with Fabiano. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best haircut I've ever had in my life. I'm a typical guy who didn't know much about hairstyle.
