TLDR: Got my best hair cut and an amazing stylist, Nicki! This is my first time scheduling my own haircut, but setting up a schedule and paying couldn't have been easier. I usually go to the cheap 'great clips' places and I was surprised at how inexpensive it was for the quality when comparing prices! It really is one of the best hair cuts I've gotten in my life. I'm definitely going back and scheduling a hair coloring appointment. Nicki was cutting my hair and she was amazing, very easy to talk to and really knew what she was doing, giving me advice on how short and how long to go. I recommend her. My Fiance frequent here to get his hair cut rather than going up to Duluth. He use to get his hair cut at the local great clips, but always had problems with them. But the rate his hair grows, he just wanted something cheap and easy. I love the location, it is right on the Marietta Square. I always stop by Updog while he gets a haircut and come back. Parking is on the street. But now that we are going up in the world, we need to have a better looking haircut, thus comes in Lenny's. He has been coming here for about a year at this point. He normally gets his hair cut by Brittney. But anyone that does his hair does a fantastic job. He typically calls to see if they have any available appointments that day, and to see if he can get squeezed in. Most the time, he is able to get in the books. They cut, wash, blow dry, style, you name it. You pay up front, and you can add your number to the 5 stars to accumulate points towards your next visit, or whenever you want to redeem it. read more

Nicki did several things for me: Haircut, brazilian blow out and my rainbow colors. she was great with all of them. She was patient, gave me her advice and answered all my questions. She also explained everything she was doing step by step and how long each process would take. Igot huge compliments on how my colors turned out! The place itself is nice and clean and clearly the owner and staff take good care of it. I would say I would love to see something to hold my feet up while washing my hair since I am pretty short and not having a place for my feet made it rather uncomfortable. Also, a little more clear and transparency on the prices would be great. O never expected the blowout to cost as much as it did. Go try them out! read more

I should open w this -- I love my hair, and am very particular about its care and who cuts it (aren't we all?). My last barber was my barber for nearly 6 years before selling and going out of business. I was referred to this business by a client of mine. After nearly two years of no hair cuts, and my last haircuts (before Lenny's) being not so great, the decision to come here was a big one. I've been back twice nice, and feel confident in saying Lenny's knows what they are doing. The first time I came in, I needed to get my long hair cut to medium hair, and to uncover my face by losing my covid beard. I walked in, and Ronneé was the stylist available at that time. She was quick to do an assessment of what I was looking for, looked at a few pictures to make sure we were on the same page, and began cutting. After about an hour or so, I left feeling pretty suave and with a new look. Yesterday I came back (about a month after my initial cut). I made an appointment with Ronneé and had the same experience. This time we updated my medium length hair to a different style -- I also got another beard trim because if I try and do it myself, I just end up ruining it. Again, Ronneé was thorough in making sure we were on the same page, and was sure to ask if I was okay with what she was doing. Two times I've been back, and both times have been great. It is also nice to not be gawked at or questioned about my tattoos. This place is a real gem and will happily return to Lenny's for my foreseeable haircuts. read more

went in to get my color stripped and to a dark brown with caramel highlights, i was completely aware it might be two sessions before my desired color was accomplished. after spending over four hours and $200 this is what my hair looked like. after the stylist was talking about how healthy my hair was, i left with it damaged to where the ends were like a rubber band and two inches cut off. i was charged full price and left the salon crying, to make me "feel better" the receptionist sprayed brown root coverup on my hair. i have not once been contacted by the stylist to fix anything. i have always done my own hair until this stylist did my hair previously, messed up severely, but i thought it may have been my fault and we ended up fixing it. mind you, i wanted the same hair color as this time and ended up with purple. since then, i have stripped the rest of the color and gone back to black. i am using hair treatments and doing everything i can to make my hair healthy. definitely thought a salon in marietta square would be high quality, yet the owner did not say a word about my hair. below is a picture of my hair before - after the horrible salon visit - now read more

Solid hair cut at a really cool local spot. Lenny cut my hair and was very outgoing. Very happy with my hair cut, it was a quick in and out too! I'm not too picky like the guy below talking about the precision of hair style on his misangled head. I also didn't need any rose gold coloring done, so I can't really speak on that. But if you need a solid cut from some cool people, I highly recommend this place. Appointment- I suggest making an appointment a week in advance because it does get busy and hey do have alot of customers so there isn't much room for walk in's. Also, my advice is you schedule EARLY , especially if you want a color change. The ladies there have other customers for the day and they won't spend much time on you and only you if you went earlier, I came in at 12. The place gets busy around 3 . Hair stylist- KD was my stylist and she was very attentive to what I wanted. She asks you questions to make sure you get what you want and she did a very good job on my hair, I'll definitely return . My friend saw Jennifer and I oversaw the process so I can say she is also an excellent stylist to request. KD helped by even suggesting ideas for a layers cut I wanted so feel free to ask questions! The stylists are friendly Vibe- the salon is very classic. If you're into some exposed brick, soft lighting, modern touches combined with vintage pieces, this is the space Price- your color will be pricey wherever you go but you get alot for it, base price for my balyage was 170 but I do NOT regret it. You want to look good and here I got treated right by the staff and can honestly say I had excellent service, hair style, and a good time. Again, it's not five stars because it got busy and I felt like I was rushed out, but I'm sure if you go in earlier it will be better , that's what I'll do. read more

I decided to go on my lunch break, bad idea. The square was so crowded, I missed the building they were in, my first time here, and had no where to park. I called to let them know I would be late. Jessica answered, she guided me right back around to them and even came outside with the cordless phone and helped me find a parking spot. What a delight! My stylist, Dayne was adorable!!! She listened to what I wanted, offered suggestions and even let me critique the finished product. I've never been to a salon where they washed, cut and styled your hair without all the added charges. Today I called the salon for an appointment. I was a first time client. The receptionist who answered the phone was courteous and very helpful by giving me information about the different stylist. I made an appointment with the owner, Lenny. When I arrived they took the required safety precautions quickly. I then discussed with Lenny what I liked in a hair cut and style but left it to him to give me the style that he thought would be best for my hair. He was very pleasant to talk to (even though we had to have our conversation with the masks on) and was very personable. He cut my hair with such expertise and then told me how I could style it easily, and I was soon on my way. I can see why this salon is "Best in Cobb". Before I left I booked my next appointment. Love this salon for multiple reasons. Len cuts with style and precision, and always leaves me with a style I can manage. Aimee is an artist for base color and highlights with subtle changes for a slightly different look that makes me feel renewed. The salon has a nostalgic look and feel and is right off Marietta Square so I can shop and dine while I'm over there. My overall experience was ok. I saw Jennifer there and think she probably just needs a little more learning time. She was very accommodating and really worked to do what I asked, but her execution was just off. I have and angled bob and she just couldn't seem to get the cut right. I finally told her it was fine just because it kept getting shorter and shorter and I didn't want her to take any more length off. She really couldn't get the color I was shooting for (rose gold) and kind of kept asking me how to go about it. I'm not a hair dresser, so I was looking to her for advice and couldn't tell her what do to or how to achieve the look, aside from just showing her several pics. The salon was nice, everyone was super friendly, she just didn't execute well on the actual services I wanted, but would probably be fine for just a trim. read more

KD cut my hair several months ago. PROS: Fabulous cut. No question. CONS: This is why I won't return. I am still in the process of trying to grow out my hair. Despite going over the fact that my hair cuticle is fragile, KD did two things that ruined my cuticle: 1. She insisted and droned on and on about the 'finish' of the cut - ie, blowdry. She used a round brush which breaks my cuticle every time a stylist uses one. I don't care if my hair looks good one time when I leave the salon. I care that my hair looks good long after I leave the salon, especially as I grow it longer. 2. She used gloves to wash my hair. Perhaps this protected her from the chemicals? She never explained. For all I know, she thought I had lice. It was very disconcerting, whatever the reason. The gloves also grabbed on and ripped my cuticle. Unfortunately, even though the cut itself was superb, I had to get my hair cut short somewhere else soon after in order to get a comb through it and try to control the frizz. Very disappointed. My advice: Though KD has great technique, it would benefit her to concentrate more on what the customer wants long term, not what a salon's image demands one time. read more
