Fun atmosphere! Friendly staff. Good haircut. Great with kids! No wait time. Took my grandson. Going back for me!

I was turned away and feel it was because of my race. I was asked to come the next day and then all of a sudden when I asked when the next one was available the barber I was told I should see is leaving on a trip. read more

Since the recent increase in services, by the time you get your hair cut and the obligatory tip, you can kiss $45-50 away. After a while, after you seem to have a regular barber, shelled out some serious $$$ over time, and it seems your business is being taken for granted and/or it is apparent on several occasions that your barber is rushing you out the door, cutting two different heights around your ear's & sideburns more often than not, paying more attention to the surrounding barbers than he does to you, well, it's time to move on elsewhere. Old aunt Mabel or the local barber school can give the same inattentive lousy haircut. Time to move on folks. read more

I took my boys here and got lucky Dave was available the same day, I was told he books a week out. I asked for someone that has experience with long haircuts. Dave did not disappoint! Both my boys walked out so happy and they are not easy to please. Especially, my younger one! He would not stop starting at his haircut, it was very sweet. Thanks Dave for making my boys day! First time they've been happy about haircuts! read more

I have had my hair cut here several times & it always seems like a challenge to either get an appointment or just popping in always seems like a "no". I always try to support local businesses, but this one makes it difficult. I'm going elsewhere. read more

This was my first time visiting Dave's Barber and they did a great job. Christiane took care of me and was not only pleasant but carefully asked how I would like my cut and also gave suggestions since I told her I was open to that. She was fast, kind, and did a great cut... Well done Christiane. The shop was clean, front desk person was also kind and friendly. I will definitely be back. read more

This was the worst experience we have ever had with getting my 7 year old son's hair cut! The pictures say it all. They cut and rubbed all along the back of his neck and he was covered in red rashes and scrapes!! Horrible!! I called the shop and asked to speak with the owner. I left a message and he declined to call me back or offer a refund. The barber was Jason and he was very unfriendly and not patient in helping me decide how to cut my son's hair. He was short and rude with my son who was sitting quiet and still through out the cut. If this is the best he can do....he should not be in business! NEVER TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! read more

I took my son to get hair cut twice to 2 different barbers there. The haircuts were ok, nothing special to make me to come back. Plus the front desk lady was not friendly. Never greeted us. But when I was sitting waiting for my son I noticed she greets every person entering the shop differently, I guess depending of their age, appearance and who knows what else. Sometimes friendly, the next time was really short... The last time we came 10 min later then our appointment time was and our barber was standing by that lady waiting and before I even apologized he said: "You are late!" After that I would not want to apologize even I was really sorry for being late... That`s it! They are way too busy to appreciate your business. read more

They service is awful. It seems fine the first time and when you keep going they are rude as ever. You make an appointment and show up and they say that you didn't make one. They cancel on you after you make an appointment online so you drive all the way there with no notice that the appointment is cancelled. The least they can do is give you another barber if one suddenly becomes unavailable. Will never go back! :) Beware!! Even tipped 100 % every time but there's no customer service at all. Quite the opposite. Have fun read more

My husband has been coming here since we moved to GA in December 2011. THe plaza looks completely dead. I MEAN DEAD!! There's nothing there. I was browsing around and the majority of the place is empty except for the dog groomer business. When you walk into this place, it's a bit overwhelming. All you see is old couches and a dated design. They do give a good haircut (if you get the right person) but I think that it is a bit pricer than it should be. Considering that we lived in Hawaii where the cost of living is outrageous, the cost of a cut here is more than where we lived. read more

Still going strong after 11 years in GA! My boys (counting the hubs) will not go anywhere but Dave's! Make sure you call ahead if you want a certain barber. They get super busy, Dave especially! The end result is pure perfection though! They have women stylists is you prefer. The atmosphere is all about the boys! The TV's set up at the stations are awesome if your little one needs something to take his/her mind off of the cut! All in all - BEST BARBER IN TOWN! read more

Lazy barbers are quick to rush you out of the door. My mother in law went to buy 2 gift certificates, $30 each, and was told she needed to come back in 2 hours for them to take 2 minutes to write one. It was Christmas Eve so she gave them the benefit of a doubt. Flash forward to me trying to use said gift certificate. I went in and was asked to hang out for 30 minutes and they'll try and help me out. After waiting for 20 minutes, the barber who was doing nothing came up and let me know that they were too booked and I should come back in 2 hours. An empty parking lot with an empty waiting room and they were too busy to do their job. Highly recommend avoiding this place. read more

In a world that's filled with Easy Cuts, Great Clips, and Super Cuts, it's nice to find a real barber shop where a man can go in, and get his hair cut. Unlike those other places, the barbers actually ask you what you want BEFORE they cut your hair, and ask you questions through out the hair cut. All for only $15. Not bad. read more

It's the only place to get it done the right way. Crazy busy and appointments are a must, but love Dave's and have been a patron for years. Aaron and Alicia are the bomb read more

Been to some of the best in the country from the West Coast to the Midwest and now the South. These guys really care and find out what you, the consumer, want. They are not just "bang em in bang em out" like so many salons that happen to "do" men's hair in between perms, colors, and answering the phone. Thanks guys. Best barber in The South. read more

I highly recommend Dave's Barber shop. Frances Poole is the only person I let touch my hair she does a wonderful job. The staff is really nice and they can usually get you in and out in a timely manner. read more

Being a BRONX boy there is no better place to get my hair done!!! I've been getting my haircut by Dave for 9 years now. I would follow him all over the state if i had to. My two boys now get there hair done by dave also!!! Best barber in the state!! read more

I can never go back to a cosmetologist hair stylist/studio again. Dave takes the time to learn what you want, how you want it, etc. He even took the time to make a few tips about my hair type, to help save time in between cuts (saves me money and time). It's a great shop. Great prices. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The barber shop is very guy friendly, and kid friendly too for when father and son come in for a haircut. read more

I've been getting my haircut by Alicia for several years now. She always does a great job, is professional and very personable. She's also started cutting my 2 year old sons hair and does a great job dealing with him read more

Totally dig the Dave. Great service, awesome vibe. Old fashioned style Barbershop with cool decoration, geared towards men for sure. Love the "Dave's not here man" tee shirts! read more

Have to agree with the first reviewer. Dave's is stellar - great barbers who ask what you want, and deliver. Even when there is a wait to get seated, the waiting area is open, inviting, and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable and active military and police and fire personnel always receive a discount. You won't be disappointed. read more

Dave's Barber - Waiting room. - Barbers Near Me - Woodstock, Georgia

A coworker suggested Dave's after hearing me complain about how I never ended up with a good haircut from the chain shops. It just never seemed to go right. After my first haircut at Dave's Barber, my wife won't let me go anywhere else. So I make the 20 miles drive once a month to visit Dave and get my ears lowered a bit. I highly recommend this barber shop. Tip: Dave's is one of a few shops in a relatively empty plaza. You could accidentally drive by if you're not paying attention. Keep an eye out for Christian Brothers auto shop as a landmark. read more

Dave's Barber is really great with some skilled Barber's. Aaron, Richard and Alicia are the best. Just a tip, they do take appointments online or over the phone, greatly recommend you do that or there will be a wait. read more

This is the best barbershop in Towne Lake, hands down. Everyone there is quick, they do a good job, and they're good people.

Always a great cut and fun times! Fran does a great job. No issues, fair pricing. Usually best to make an appointment, but walk ins work also. read more

I'm new to the area and I was looking for a barber shop that made me feel and look the way my barber did back home (Orlando). I called ahead and explained exactly what I was looking for and needless to say, the barber I was paired with didn't really know how to do a low modern fade. She was experienced and did a decent job but not what I asked for over the phone. She did a good job and made me look professional but not what I was looking for. give them a try! read more

I had been using the national chain hair cutting places until I found Dave's. I get a great hair cut, a straight razor shave on my neck, and always an awesome conversation. I always leave completely satisfied and happy. Bonus is that the shop is very close to my house too! read more

Love this place and Richard the barber. The place is clean. The folks are nice. The barbers are professional and meticulous.

Been going to Dave's for years & always get great hair cuts. Many girls have told me how nice the cut looks. Thanks Aaron!

If your reading this and you live in the woodstoxk area trust me go here. I wasting time, miney, and bad haircuts going to all the other places. Disclaimer... i have never tried a salon. I tried ever chain haircut place in the area. At Dave's you get a better haircut at a better price. My son had a good haircut too. Obviously, I think this place is best for men and boys. If I was a barber I would want to work here. read more

Had my first cut last week Weds. Dave was my barber, he is great, as well they have a great staff of excellent stylists. Prices are quite reasonable for a quality cut. I'll be back for sure. read more

Great staff and good location . Aside from lengthy wait times I've never had a negative experience when ive made it before closing time. The problem with Dave's barbershop is they seem to always be closed! First off they are closed every Sunday and Monday. Then tuesday, wed, thursday hours are 10am-7pm and Friday close at 6!? So basically if you are employed and want to patron their business you need to take a holiday. To top it off today is Saturday and New Years Eve so i figure I'll stop by old Dave's and get lined up for a big night out and.......You guessed it. They decided to take off today as well! Great place to work if I ever happen to become a Barber I guess? I just go to E's down the street who open 7 days a week read more

I'm 70 years old, and as you can expect, I've been to many stylists and barbers. When I was working I went to stylists at around $30 a pop. They did a good job. When I moved here from Seattle I tried a number of salons and barbers without finding one that understood what someone my age wanted. Then I found Dave's. Or rather Aaron, who works for Dave. I had a very good cut from Dave, who was very personable. Then I found Aaron. He is outstanding. Not only is my hair cut exactly as my wife wants (I don't count), but he remembers. Score 5 for Dave's, the ultimate in Men's barbershops. Oh, and seniors are $12.50 currently. read more

What I expected in a cherokee county barbershop. Basically a Walmart crowd. I got a haircut and shave. The shave was done with a dull straight blade and I had to come home and complete the shave. The haircut is a Great Clips quality. But, if you like to watch TruTV while you get groomed your at the right place, Otherwise if you are looking to get a professional men's haircut and shave you will need to go elsewhere, most likely nowhere near Woodstock Ga. read more

A verrrry mediocre at best haircut. I've only went here because there isn't much else around that area. However, I will not be back. The people seem nice, however, it seems poorly run and outdated. Guys - we can do better. read more

Really enjoy Daves, especially after using sport clips. Highly recommend!

I went to see Richard on the strength of another review, and it was all that was promised and more. He gave me a perfect haircut, and we had an excellent conversation while it was going on. Went here for the first time today, and it's now my go-to spot. Richard was awesome! Very friendly and gave a great haircut. I also went for the straight razor shave for the first time, but I'll probably pass on that next time. Richard did a great job, but I have sensitive skin and just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I might. Wish I had found this place sooner! Been wasting a lot of time and money at Great Clips, but I'll be a regular at Dave's now. read more

If you want consistency and courtesy Dave's is the place. I have been a loyal customer of Dave since he opened.
