I friggin LOVE this place. It is as good a hang out as it is a barber shop. The work was detailed, impeccable, meticulous. The staff happy, friendly, and attentive. I watched many other clients while waiting for my sons to get shaved down. Everyone got more than they paid for in effort and quality of work. They deserve 6 stars. If you see a bad review on here, it can't be anything more than an individual incident and most likely a complainer who is never happy. I was so happy with the work and friendly people I tipped 30%. Best haircuts my kids have had yet. Which was a big deal for my oldest who's hair is getting harder to manage in his teen years. read more

"THE WORST (barber) shop experience I've ever had." First time at this spot; I walk in, see no sign- in sheet, spoke and continued to sit down. Two barbers were working along w/ a female stylist. As the " barber" known as "Diddy" finished with his customer, he motioned me to his chair. After our introduction, he begins to cut my hair. Then he begins coughing and wiping his nose without stepping away from my head. As he attempted to continue cutting my hair, I pulled away slightly; signaling him to my displeasure. He THEN, unwantingly wiped his hands. Since he is already cutting my hair, I can't just get up at this point. The coughing and snorting continued. He finished my head and inquired how I wanted my face groomed. He disagreed with my instruction, and told me how I should get it done. I calmly repeated my request and sat back for him to finish. At NO point during this session was a brush used to remove hair from my face. As the shop is named "Blessed Up", one would assume that there would be a slightly different level of conversation than a typical barber shop. There was cursing from the time I sat down until the time I left. As Diddy finished up, I asked him what I owed him. He told me $15, I gave him $20 and walked out. I sat in my car for 10 minutes looking at the uncut hair left on my neck, the crooked mustache on my face; contemplating going back in the shop and demanding my money back. Better judgment kicked in, I calmed myself down, and drove away. I guess you get what you pay for. This post is intended to express my disappointment with this particular barber ONLY, not the entire shop. I got a cut today from the new location in Acworth off of Hickory Grove rd. My barber was "City", he hooked me up right. City went the extra-mile to use a straight-edge razor for the sharp lines, many others don't, he is a professional barber. I'll be going there for now on. read more

I've been going to this shop for nearly 4 years and not only is the atmosphere dope but the service is amazing. If you get in anyone's chair at this shop you will have a dope experience. My boys go to Baedabarber. His kindness , professionalism and expertise is superb. I Never have to worry when my boys are in his chair. Today I went to this business for the first time. Initially, I went there because the have a sign that says $10 cut for new clients. After waiting my turn, I took a seat in Carlton's chair and the magic started. Carlton cut my hair how I wanted it, touched up my face with an electric razor, and made sure I was 100% satisfied before I got out of the chair. In the interest of full disclosure, I should point out that I am a middle age Hispanic male, and this shop has a mostly Black clientele. None of that really matters, because the professionalism is there irregardless of ethnicity. I plan to return next time I need a haircut, and would encourage others to take their business to this shop. read more

Be extremely careful i came in for a simple shape up and beard trim. I had never been here before as I was new to the area and was looking for a barber for me and my sons. This clown cuts a gap into my beard and then tries to turn my back to the mirror and charge me before I looked at it. Once I saw it i asked him WTF and he told me he thought it was already there I was so angry I could barely speak needless to say I didn't pay...they other barbers simply stood at their booths looking just as stupid as the clown that messed up my beard...don't go here it's a roll of the dice read more

Found the owner of the shop on Instagram (baebaedabarber) and decided to try him out. I made an appointment and was able to walk in and get straight in the chair. 30 seconds into him shaping up my beard he stopped to look up an NBA player on google to see how many teams he played on which took 5 minutes. Then he continued working on me and stopped two more times to do something in his phone. Then when he gave me the mirror at the end he missed an entire area of my beard that I had to point out to him and I was ONLY getting a beard trim. If he payed more attention to his clients then the conversations going on I probably would of had a better experience. The other barbers never stopped working on their clients the entire time I was there. As a black owned & operated barbershop and him being the owner I was expecting better customer service. We as African-American business owners have to do better at providing top notch customer service!! read more

Awesome cut and I felt very welcome and comfortable with my first and definitely not my last visit. My barber, who's Name escapes me but I will call him Blue Eyes was attentive and was thorough in achieving the look I desired. As a female, I did not want a male cut and Blue Eyes accomplished that for my style. I like the fact that there was no profanity and a friendly place for all.
