Good service. Cold beers. Simple menu but got the job done on a holiday weekend. Plenty of seating space inside and outside.

We stopped by The Comfy Belly for breakfast as a backup. Actually, it was a backup to the backup. However, we realized that we should have gone to the Comfort Belly for our original plans. I will say that the bar/pub/restaurant is very no frills, but the food (at least for breakfast) was pretty decent. Our waitress/bartender was pretty nice and friendly. The only small annoyance was the restaurant did not have quite a few food items during our visit. After handing us the menus, the waitress was like we do not have A, B, C, D, E. Jokingly, I was like maybe it would be easier to tell us what you do have. ;) While folks might be more interested in some of the more fancy dining spots in the area (especially near the beach), The Comfy Belly is a pretty good backup if those places are full or if you cannot find parking.

I checked this place out last month for breakfast and left very underwhelmed. The little dive that serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and caters to a late night drinking live music crowd has been open around three months. Comfy is located on the corner of an. Hampton and Pleasure House. Parking is in the front and side of the business. Not a lot of spaces, bit more than adequate in the morning. I found the lot to be mostly clear of debris. I walked in and felt like I was in a bar, nothing wrong with that. Just giving a heads up that the decor is dive bar dark, bar is on the right side with booths around the perimeter. I ejected to sit at the bar and was quickly greeted by the bartender/waitress. She was friendly and provided a menu. There were a few basics for breakfast, but no stand outs. I decided on the breakfast burrito and coffee. The coffee was in front of me quickly. However, it was below par, but drinkable. A few other customs were at the bar too! A server came in the door to start her shift. She had long dark hair that was soaked as if she just got out of the shower. It was not a professional appearance. My food arrived shortly after, maybe 15 minutes. There was not a lot of flavor, the burrito was pretty average. Possibly was hot sauce etc would have helped. But I don't care for that stuff. While eating the waitress who had just arrived began flipping her hair back and forth coming way too close to my meal and grossing me out. My server did ask how the meal was and provided a refill. Before departing I used the restroom. I found the men's room clean with proper supplies. It actually was nicer than what I would have expected. If I try them again it will be for late night drink and music. 2.5 rounding up. Just not impressed.

We arrived about 4pm and the parking lot was kind of full but it still was a spot available for us. We walked in was greeted promptly and we had the option to sit inside or Dine Outdoors...knowing myself I love an outdoor adventure so outdoors we went... The Hostess mentioned they have a bridge that was open as well and I believe the bridge is open on Fridays and Saturdays if I'm not mistaken ... nevertheless we decided to dine on the bridge this past Friday. Omg so so so in love!! I can make this review probably about 2 pages long but I'll cut it short for you. Our super cute waitress Haley was the best... attentive informative personable a gem and made our first experience all the more amazing. We did ask for suggestions... she made suggestions for us... I ordered a cocktail and my bestie ordered a beer. My cocktail was just ok but he loved his beer of choice. We didn't want to order anything that was going to be heavy so we decided to split the Godfather Pizza and OMG it was so good so good. We knew we were returning before his departure. Here we are again Sunday during brunch hours and this time we invited another bestie it's a trio yes! We arrived about 2:00 p.m. and still decided to dine outdoors. I believe the bridge wasn't open for whatever reason on Sunday nevertheless we were able to sit on the patio. Our lovely waitress Katie was super as well. Haley and Katie kind of look like twins so I was like okay this experience will probably hit the same as Friday and needless to say it did. Katie was super awesome as well ...super attentive super patient I mean New River these two ladies are keepers and Katie shared with us that she's getting married soon so congratulations again pretty girl. Even though brunch was taking place you are still able to order pizza from the lunch / dinner menu. We ordered the Godfather again of course we ordered the chicken Parmesan pizza I forgot the name of that and the Hawaiian pizza all of them were good but my favorite on this go around was the chicken Parmesan pizza. I ate all of it even though we did share slices amongst us all the Godfather is definitely a close second. We tried the Mimosa flight it was okay I'm not a mimosa girl but the other two in my party they enjoyed it. I did have a glass of the Pinot Noir wine I'm definitely a red wine girl so the wine was right on time...right up my alley. We decided we love it here and when my bestie is visiting from Florida he already said this place is a must dine. And whoever was responsible for Designing the bathroom decor for the ladies very nice very nice. Have fun and enjoy life. :)

We're frequent Yard House customers from New Jersey and regularly visit the American Dream and Willowbrook locations, so we had a good idea of what to expect. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be about 15 minutes, which was completely understandable for such a busy area. The hostess, whose name I unfortunately don't remember (she had beautiful curly hair and happened to be from New Jersey too), told us to hang tight before we headed out to walk around. A few minutes later, she seated us in under five minutes, which was a great surprise. The three of us were seated at a spacious table, and our server, Johnathan, was outstanding. We mentioned that we were visiting from New Jersey and that we're regular Yard House customers, and he immediately made us feel welcome. We started with the Bavarian Pretzel. My husband also ordered the queso dip, which he has a tradition of turning into quesadillas with the leftovers later. He also had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, I ordered the veggie burger with sweet potato fries, my 9-year-old daughter had the chicken tenders and fries, and we all enjoyed our meals with sodas. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. What really made the evening special, though, was the service. During our conversation, we learned that Johnathan had also lived in New Jersey. Then he did something completely unexpected: he invited Chef Jeff out to our table. Chef Jeff came out in his chef's jacket, introduced himself, and spent a few minutes talking with us. We learned that he trained at a Yard House in New Jersey and now runs the kitchen at the Town Center location. That moment completely elevated the experience. It reminded me of the kind of personal hospitality you usually associate with higher-end dining, where the chef takes a moment to greet guests. It wasn't something we expected at all, and it made us feel genuinely welcomed. It was such a cool experience and one we'll definitely remember. The little details didn't stop there. When our leftovers were packed up, Johnathan wrote the date of our visit on the containers, wrote "Yard House," and signed his name. Before we left, he even surprised us with three Sprites to go for the ride home. It was such a thoughtful gesture and one we genuinely appreciated. I don't want this review to come across as a comparison to other Yard House locations because we've always enjoyed our experiences there. This visit simply stood out because every person we interacted with went above and beyond. From the hostess to Johnathan to Chef Jeff, everyone made us feel like guests instead of just another table. My daughter actually left a review on the tabletop device before we left because she had such a great time. This is the longer version because I wanted to make sure the team gets the recognition they deserve. As people who visit Yard House often, this wasn't just another good meal--it was an experience we'll genuinely remember. If you're visiting Virginia Beach, I highly recommend stopping by the Yard House at Town Center. The food was excellent, but the hospitality is what truly made this a five-star experience. To us, this is the best Yard House we've ever visited, and we'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Virginia Beach.

Too noisy to be technically "romantic," yet "moody" enough to provide the setting for a great "date night." If you're into surrounding yourself with a plethora of different beers, and libations, this is a perfect place for you. The beer menu is HUGE! I definitely recommend. It's my favorite chain restaurant.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was perfect. We were seated in a booth near the live band, and it created such a fun, relaxing vibe. The dim lighting gave the restaurant a cozy, intimate feel that was perfect for a night out and really added to the overall ambiance. Before our entrées arrived, we couldn't stop eating the focaccia. It was warm, fresh, and so flavorful that we immediately wished there had been more. We also ordered the beef kebabs with chimichurri sauce, and they were incredible. The beef was tender, and the bright, herb-filled chimichurri brought everything together perfectly. Honestly, I could have used another serving of both the bread and the sauce! By the time our main courses arrived, we were already pleasantly full, but that didn't stop us from enjoying every bite. My husband is a creature of habit--ever since our first date, he usually orders the same or very similar dishes. The only reason he branches out is because I love cooking and introducing him to new flavors, or he'll happily steal a bite from my plate when we go out. This time, he ordered the steak with mashed potatoes, and it was cooked beautifully. The steak was tender, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the creamy mashed potatoes. Between the delicious food, the live music, and the inviting atmosphere, this restaurant made my birthday celebration even more memorable. It's the kind of place that's perfect for a special occasion or a romantic date night, and I'd gladly come back again.

Tupelo Honey Review…read more I stopped here while in Virginia Beach Town Center. I went on a weekday during lunch. It wasn't crowded, so I was seated promptly. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, but since it was hotter than a car with the windows rolled up in July, I happily chose to eat inside. My waiter arrived within minutes, ready to take my order. After looking over the menu, and apparently ignoring the little voice in my head that was trying to save me, I decided to order the Baked Chicken Special with string beans and mac & cheese. My food arrived quickly, which is always appreciated. The chicken was warm, but unfortunately, it was a little shy in the flavor department. It wasn't bad...it just tasted like the seasoning had called out sick that day. Thankfully, Texas Pete came off the bench like a fourth-quarter MVP and rescued the chicken. Crisis averted. The string beans, on the other hand, came to play. They were well seasoned and had plenty of flavor. Whoever was in charge of the string beans deserved a raise--or at least permission to season the chicken too. Now, let's talk about the mac & cheese. I had high hopes, and maybe that's where I went wrong. It arrived warm, creamy, and looking the part...but the flavor never quite showed up. It was like watching the preview for a blockbuster movie that turned out to be a documentary about drying paint. Despite my comments, the overall experience wasn't bad. Dining in Virginia Beach Town Center is always enjoyable, and the service was friendly and efficient. I honestly think I simply ordered the wrong item. I've never been a huge fan of baked chicken, and after this meal, I was reminded exactly why. I won't let this visit keep me away. In fact, I fully intend to return--but next time, I'm ordering something that has a fan club. This was a lunch special, and in my experience, lunch specials can sometimes be the understudy instead of the star of the menu. Overall, my review is mixed, but I think the blame falls more on my menu selection than on the restaurant itself. I'll definitely give Tupelo Honey another shot. Hopefully, next time the flavor shows up on time too. For the above reasons I have to rate only 3 Stars. The service was great, but I believe due to my poor menu choices, the food was less than desired. This is a really nice place and I feel that it deserves another chance at getting 4-5 Stars from me...I will return!!!!
