A booth opened up and we ordered: Two coffees, waters, a breakfast burrito, hashbrowns and bacon, egg and cheese on wheat toast. We are so so full and it cost about $24. Stop in and eat at Joe's. If your business, military service, law enforcement etc trades coins/patches- their walls are covered in patches and coins. I'm sure they'd love another.

I wish we had a Joe's in Reno, but I would end up weighing 300 pounds! First of all, thanks to Helen and the incredibly helpful and friendly staff for enhancing the experience and making my breakfast just that much better. Just walking in you knew you would be leaving full, content and happy (and ready for a mid morning nap)! The food was exactly what I was hoping for and actually expected. My buddy Mike had a Denver Omelette with Hash Browns and Rye Toast and I had a Cheddar Cheese, Mushroom and Bacon Omelette, also with Rye. I also got a side of Sausage Gravy for my Crispy Browns. Pure yummalishous! We all have our favorite "type" of Omelette and this was mine. Thin, not fluffy eggs, LOTS of fixins' and gooey melted cheese. I forgot we also got a side of pancakes and some scrapple! Yes, we literally pigged out! Cant wait to say hi to the crew next month when I return... and enjoy another great meal! Cheers, JimG

We brought our whole staff here to celebrate a great Easter weekend. The vibes of this place…read moredefinitely southern comfort. The server we had was amazing. She did a phenomenal job overseeing our whole group by herself. The food was good. I love a good southern comfort meal. But I'd be lying that I wasn't a little disappointed they didn't have chicken and waffles. They do have chicken and biscuits which looked good. But I was craving that delicious crispy meat over a savory waffle. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. Not a single person complained. If anything, they said how much food they got! When in the area again, will take a stop here to enjoy their food again!

GOOD FOOD, RUDE SERVICE: I recently visited Milk and Honey and had a mixed experience…read more The smothered chicken and biscuits entree was very good. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Southern style dish in Charleston SC. Rich, comforting, and well executed. The crispy calamari appetizer was disappointing. Most of the pieces were tiny, which made them too small to dip into the sauce. It was also too salty. Cutting the salt by about 33% would help a lot. The worst part was the service. There was a long gap between our appetizer and entrees, and I could see our food sitting under the heat lamps for a long time. When our server Soledad passed by, I told her I noticed our entrees were ready and asked if we could get them. She seemed annoyed and told me I had to wait my turn because they execute tickets in order. The kitchen talent is clearly good, but they need to train their servers to have more grace under pressure. Overall, not worth coming again when there are so many great dining options in the area.

When we arrived around 10:30am, there were already a few diners. We chose our meals and headed to the bar, Nectar, to place our order. Even then, we were curious about how good the food would actually be. Then the food arrived. Wow, we were so happy we gave it a shot. The quality of the biscuit sandwich was fantastic. I really appreciated that their biscuit was homemade. It was buttery and blended perfectly with the other ingredients. The only suggestion I have is to make the egg yolk runny, as the biscuit can be a bit dry at times. I can't wait to come back and try other vendors, but I definitely want to return for another biscuit next time!

This hidden gem shines brighter than my tita when she hits a high score on the karaoke!…read more Solid spot for quick, vibey, Filipino eats. Side note: don't go here thinking you're about to get some traditional Filipino dishes. Come with an open mind and an empty tummy! You'll be pleasantly surprised. The space is spotless, easy on the eyes, and perfectly cozy - minimalist décor with just enough charm to make you want to stay awhile. There's plenty of seating for the whole fam (yes, even all your titos and titas). Only one kind gentleman was running the show during my visit, and let me tell you - he handled everything like a pro. Even with our big order, everything came out quickly and with a smile. Bonus points for the snacks, ready-to-eat treats, and vending machines to hold you over while you wait. But honestly, the food is worth every second. Now let's talk about some of the eats: * Ube waffle: light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet - the powdered sugar and ube syrup complemented the flavor instead of stealing the spotlight. The chicken tenders were well-seasoned and paired well with the waffle. Whole plate was aesthetically pleasing and delish! * Lumpia: absolute fire. My only regret? Not ordering a mountain of them. * Longanisa breakfast sandwich: solid and yummy, but I wouldn't write my lola about it. Egg cooked to perfection though! * Silog breakfast bowl: oh. my. GAWD. Flavor bomb! The garlic fried rice, tender pork, egg, and peppers all danced together like they were meant to be. I'd come back just for that bowl - and the lumpia, of course.

This place just gets it right. Every dish is made with fresh ingredients daily, including pasteurized cage-free eggs and fresh-squeezed orange juice and you can absolutely taste the difference. The French toast is phenomenal, the pancakes are light and fluffy, and the omelets are loaded and satisfying. The mimosa flights are a crowd favorite for brunch and pair perfectly with just about anything on the menu. The meal portions are generous, everything arrives hot and correct, and the server automatically refills your drinks and checks back often that kind of attentive, thoughtful service is what keeps people coming back week after week.
