I do my research. Don't we all?…read more This place is the best place I've found in greater Houston for preventative and post-accident shoe repair. When I buy shoes, I take them in for protective soles before I wear them. After the mess I dealt with concerning a shoe "repair" store off Kirby where they drew on my brand new cream Gucci pumps with a blue ballpoint pen and didn't even mention it to me at pick up (did they think I wouldn't notice?), I delayed getting my shoes fixed until I could find a place I could trust. But a girl can only delay her shoe fixes for so long. I called three different shoe hospitals at 5 different locations (some of them are franchises) before deciding to come here. Gerardo is kind, patient, and - after picking up my 14 pairs just now, I can also say - good at what he does. In fact, he's GREAT at what he does. He even fixed my leather handbag. And look at the red boots in the picture - good as new and the sole perfectly matching. So I picked up my 14 and dropped off the other 7 pairs I had brought with me. See you in two wks, Gerardo! Thank you! :)

Zero stars. I…read morebrought my daughter's boots in for new soles and heels without realizing that she already had them repaired. The owner offered to polish them free of charge if I would wait. I said no but he insisted. He was gone about a minute with the boots. When he came back he showed me that the soles were glued on and not sewed on by pulling the sole off the boot! Then he pulled the glued sole off the other boot! He told me that I didn't understand. I told him that I did not please explain it to me. He said sewing was better. I told him those boots never had a sewn sole, and I'm not sure they were suppose to. He said he would glue the soles back on for $28. These sole were attached before he ripped them off the boots!! I told him the soles were not separated from the boots when I brought them in. He was the one who ripped the soles off the boots. He insisted sewing the soles on was better. Then he began Yelling at me. Not raising his voice but YELLING. I quietly picked up the boots and left because his behavior frightened me. I cannot believe a store owner would cause damage, insist I pay for the repair, then yell at me because I couldn't understand him charging me to repair damage HE caused.

I had my eye on these beautiful black leather boots for 2 years before I finally bought them.
