When I buy shoes, I take them in for protective soles before I wear them. After the mess I dealt with concerning a shoe "repair" store off Kirby where they drew on my brand new cream Gucci pumps with a blue ballpoint pen and didn't even mention it to me at pick up (did they think I wouldn't notice?), I delayed getting my shoes fixed until I could find a place I could trust. But a girl can only delay her shoe fixes for so long. I called three different shoe hospitals at 5 different locations (some of them are franchises) before deciding to come here. Gerardo is kind, patient, and - after picking up my 14 pairs just now, I can also say - good at what he does. In fact, he's GREAT at what he does. He even fixed my leather handbag.
