When I buy shoes, I take them in for protective soles before I wear them. After the mess I dealt with concerning a shoe "repair" store off Kirby where they drew on my brand new cream Gucci pumps with a blue ballpoint pen and didn't even mention it to me at pick up (did they think I wouldn't notice?), I delayed getting my shoes fixed until I could find a place I could trust. But a girl can only delay her shoe fixes for so long. I called three different shoe hospitals at 5 different locations (some of them are franchises) before deciding to come here. Timing - They typically tell us to come back a week from off date, so whenever we go back, everything's ready just as they said. Can't be any happier. I wish I could give this place 5 stars because for the most part I am happy with their service. The…read moreonly reason I'm holding back is because a couple of times I received shirts back from them with small tears and pants with the hem loose. And this has happened maybe less than five times out of hundreds of times that I have clothes dry cleaned so it's not enough to stop going to them for my dry cleaning needs. Besides, they are conveniently close to my home and they have a rewards points system that really comes in handy. You get holes punched for every $10 you spend. Once your card is full, you get $10 off. I go there A LOT. This is a great system for me. I also take my king size comforters there to be cleaned and they do a fine job. I see on their window that they offer free dry cleaning to people who are going on job interviews (or something like that). All the workers are quick and courteous as well.
