Convenient location in the Garland district. Parking was easy and the watch battery replacement was relatively quick. If you have any issues concerning grandfather clocks, cuckoo clocks or old mantle clocks this looks like place to go. read more

Extremely nice gentleman fixed my cuckoo clock and taught me how to properly adjust it. Highly recommend!

I brought in a 1961 Centurion wind-up wall clock for cleaning and repair. Was told it would take a minimum of 7 months! At 7 months, I called to see if it was done and was told it had been done for a couple of months. I was never notified. My clock wasn't chiming properly and wasn't keeping time correctly. When I got it back, over a few weeks, it began to perform way worse than when I brought it in. Sometimes at 1:30, it would chime 7 times. At 10:00, it would chime 4 times, etc... The chimes varied wildly in volume. There was a scratchy, ticky sound when it chimed. It started losing and gaining minutes, even when it was wound properly. It evntually quit running altogether. I looked up possible at-home fixes and tried every last one of them. Nothing worked right. Once when I got it to run again, it lasted about 5 days and quit. I have not been able to get it to run again since. Since my clock was obviously damaged somehow while it was at this business, I would not, can not trust them again. Plus, I will not wait months for repair and have to pay for it all over again, when they never fixed it in the 1st place! And fact, they made it 10 times worse. This is a family owned clock since 1961 and it used to run perfect. Does anyone out there know of a clock repair place in Spokane or the Valley that knows what they're doing and can be trusted?? read more

Beautiful and thorough job of cleaning and repairing two dear, old family clocks. Friendly service and I was given great insight and tips for how to keep my clocks running well. There are very few clock repair experts left in WA state. Expect a wait for your clocks to be fixed--but you will be pleased by the outcome. Highly recommend! read more

Several shops could not repair our grandfather clock or wanted to get new works from Germany. In 45 minutes it was up and running after being quiet go over 10 years. Highly recommended and reasonable prices. You can't go wrong with this family enterprise. B Mulholland read more

Had 3 other people look at my grandfather clock ( and hundreds $ later) finally called clock house. Fixed in less than 30 minutes. That was few months ago and still running perfectly! read more

Great staff, fair prices. Well worth the wait. Could not provide a higher recommendation.

Be ready for a long wait for repairs. Right now it's 7 months. But I think it will be worth the wait. His shop is full of clocks waiting for repairs. Clock repair is a lost art in this disposable society. read more

These guys are knowledgeable and quick. If I ever need another repair I will bring my clock with me again all the way from Hawaii. Mahalo again for the great service!! read more

20 September 2024: Our 50 (+) year old HOWARD-MILLER (mini) Grandfather clock had been "acting up". We called for an in-home appointment. They arrived on time. Quickly diagnosed the problem. Professionally disassembled & reassembled the mechanism and had the clock back in operation, within an hour. We could not be more satisfied with the repair service and price !! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Clock House ... read more

We brought our1960 Set Thomas clock here for a tune up and got great service. They can do modern to family heirlooms. It's a great place just to look at the variety of old cuckoos...and I don't mean the staff...lol. read more

I dropped my Dad's antique Gilbert kitchen clock off for repairs back in November, 2023. Just got it back. Well worth the wait. They did an excellent job of repairing and replacing missing parts. It's very comforting to listen to it ticking and chiming. Runs great! read more

So glad I brought my wall clock here. A young man named Otto took care of me and took such interest in my clock which really made me feel like he was going to care about fixing it and taking proper care of it. He was so informative, gave me some insight on its history and pointed out some facts about its beauty and creation that I would not have otherwise ever known. He pointed out that there was a bit of a wait to fix it (months possibly) but would see what he could do... Lo and behold I got a call in a few weeks saying it was all done! It works great now and I know it was in the best of hands. Everyone there is really cool, helpful and informative. Seeing such a young man takes such a deep interest in a lost art form was so impressive and This is the only place I could ever recommend now. read more

What a blessing to have a gifted clock repair in Spokane. We had two Grandfather Clocks that were not keeping time or chiming well after our move to Spokane. As these were handmade clocks that my father built over 40 years ago, they were in need of deep cleaning and repair. Both clocks are working and sounding as good as they ever did. The owner personally works on Grandfather clocks and answered a lot of my questions. Great People!! read more

Excellent service and clock repair. Highly recommend The Clock House for grandfather clocks or otherwise.

I like the fact that they gave me a pretty good estimate on wgat the repair was going to cost. A little spendy, but for a hundred year old mechanism that has a lot of history to it, it is doable. The reason for only 4 stars, is the time it will take to finish the repair. About 3 months. It is understandable, there are only 2 clock repair shops in the whole city of Spokane. Hooefully the clockworks will be perfect when it gets back to me read more

I took my grandmother's perfectly working antique mantle clock to the other shop in town a few years ago to be gone through and oiled, something I'd never had done in the 30 years I've owned it. Upon return, it no longer worked properly and its sound was no longer loud and booming but weak and anemic. I returned it several times but it never worked right again. I gave up and it sat quietly on a shelf for over a year. When my grandfather clock stopped working, I called the Clock House for mobile repair. Quan had it fixed in no time and on a whim I sent the mantle clock with him to see if he could do anything for it. Long story somewhat shorter, it now sits in its place of honor atop my antique player piano, keeping time perfectly once again and proudly announcing the quarter hour in a deep and resonating voice. Thank you Quan!!! read more

The Clock House is a great clock shop. They sell all types of mantle clocks large and small. They repair clocks and do a very good job at an affordable cost. You don't have to wait weeks to get your clock repaired. The staff is very helpful and polite. It is a pleasure to deal with them. The shop is localed on a narrow street in an old part of Spokane off of Division. read more

This store is WONDERFUL. We live in Anchorage, AK and got ripped off by a clock repair store here. They didn't completely fix the clock after a bill of 750.00 plus dollars. Otto at The Clock House store sent us the additional part for $10 plus shipping that the guy up here wanted $252.00 for. These are honest, kind people at this store. read more

IMO The Clock House is a great shop. I take my clocks there regularly for cleaning and as with any good horologist, there is a backlog. I don't mind the wait because I know the job will be done thoroughly and be affordable. I have also had him make repairs as needed, and the work has always been completed to my satisfaction. read more

Called today, technician called back and came to our house and fixed our clock today!

Outstanding. The owner really knows his stuff. The location is convenient and the prices are good. I didn't need an appointment to bring my clock in and was pleasantly surprised to find he would come to my home and repair my grandfather clock. Very pleased. read more

I can not believe how great these fellows were when my daughter and I took in my cuckoo clock. I bought it in on April 14th and my clock was finished by the 28. It has been 6 years since the clock stop working. He told me that it would be about a month and would give me a call when it was done. All that was wrong with it was that he needed to be cleaned and oil. Oh yes and the price was unbelievable, Cheap as far as I was concerned just to have my clock up and running again. Thank you guys for one heck of a great job. You can bet that if I need to get my clock fix again it will be going straight to 822 West Garland in Spokane. read more

I dropped off a mantle clock for a simple repair (the wire that held the pendulum had come loose), and was told it would be "a week or two" before it was fixed, and that it might need to be cleaned to run correctly. Eight weeks later I called and was told that the clock wasn't done. Two weeks after that, I was told that the clock had been put back together, but that it wouldn't run for any length of time, and needed to be cleaned. I decided to go pick the clock up without having anything else done to it (because it had been there for two-and-a-half months already). When I got to the shop, the clock was in exactly the same condition it was in when I had dropped it off, so the person I had talked to on the phone previously had lied about the clock not running correctly (since it was still in pieces). The person working in the shop did the repair while I waited (he wasn't the same person who was there when I dropped the clock off). The clock, coincidentally, doesn't keep time correctly. I'll take it somewhere else to find out the reason for that. I wouldn't go back into this shop to find out the time. read more

In the last six months, I've had several clocks repaired at The Clock House. The owner has even returned an antique wall clock to my home to be sure it was hung properly. Mr. Nguyen is an exceptional craftsman, and he provides clear instructions about clock care and maintenance. We are lucky to have a craftsman with such integrity and skill. While there may be a wait, because of the numbers of clocks brought to his shop for repair work, the wait is definitely worth it. I highly recommend The Clock House. read more

We needed our ten-year old German grandfather clock serviced but were worried regarding the age and uniqueness of this piece exceeding either the local competence or our wallet's ability to support the repairs :-) Quon came out to our home within a week and repaired it on site. After spending almost ninety minutes repairing, he closed it up and I paid him about 60% of what I thought he would have required for a home call. Then - before leaving- he decided to listen to the clock in total silence ... sure enough, he detected one faint noise and completely dissembled the clock again and found a tiny piece that needed cleaning and lubrication. After another 35 minutes, he buttoned it back up and gave us a card and a note of gratitude. He spent more than two hours here and did not charge us by the hour nor by the job (as he did two entirely different repairs so it was two distinct jobs). That customer service only demands more customer loyalty! We took our cuckoo clock down later that week and delivered it to their office so his specialist could PM the cuckoo clock. Amazing service - reasonably priced - and they care about their craftsmanship and quality. Cheers! Diane & Philip Spike Jones read more

My father learned watch making, as well as watch and clock repair from my grandfather. Fortunately for me, I inherited a few of his creations. So, I really missed them when they went away to The Clock House for repair. Quon did a beautiful job, even manufacturing a couple of parts that were not available for the grandfather clock. When they were returned today, they were running like new. read more
