Great customer service! I brought in over 10 watches for battery replacements. They were so helpful and offered to change the batteries right then while I waited. I was on a time crunch so I swung back by before they closed. They had all watches ready, set with the current time and date and charged just a fraction of what I am used to paying. read more

I have the same issue as a few folks on here. Have them replace watch batteries in the past with no issues. But 3 months ago I left a watch that had a pin broke in the band everytime I've checked not done, we will call you when it is. Went there today sign said closed due to illness, nice permanent looking sign in the door window. Anybody else experiencing this? Also no answering machine to leave message just continues to ring. Folks at my company gave me a watch that I haven't worn in 30 years. It's a keepsake and I wanted to see if it could be made to work again. The very nice guy at Quam's was gone with it for only about three minutes and came back with it working fine with just a new battery. He could have charged me anything but was perfectly honest. I left my Grandfather's watch with Quam's Watch Repair on October 17, 2024. I sent an email in December 17, got no answer. So I went by the store around December 28 and was told that they were working on the watch, I should just go away and wait for a call when it is done. January came and went. I returned on February 20th and asked about the watch. I was told that "they" were working on it, the watch "was in pieces" and I would get a call, etc. I asked to see the watch. After some delay - I could hear talking and some laughing - the watch was brought out. I looked at the seams, which showed no indication of having been opened (no marks or oil smudges), and the lens had not been replaced as had been promised. I asked if the watch had been oiled, the front desk guy said no, and I got this story about how they are backed up, there is only one watch technician, they have a backlog from all over Spokane - well, don't pee on me and tell me that it is raining - I said I am taking the watch, and if I had gotten any hassle, I would have gone to the police and filed a complaint. I feel that Quam Watch was hoping that I would "forget" the piece so that they could sell it somewhere down the road. I don't think it takes five months to inspect and oil a watch, unless their tech is one-armed or something. I wouldn't trust this business any farther than I could throw a piano. read more

Quams is a total rip off. Might be ok to have a battery changed but to call them a "repair center" is a total lie. I took a Hamilton watch there because the second hand kept stopping at random times. He told me I needed a new movement. Paid a lot for the new movement. It happened again a month later. Took it back and he said it needed another new movement. I thought it would be under some kind of warranty but he actually charged me without my consent. Wouldn't release my watch unless I paid again because he put in a "bad movement". It happened again a week later so not trusting this horrible business, I took it to another watch repair. It took them 5 minutes to see that the second hand was sightly bent. They installed a new second hand and it has never happened again. Quams is a huge joke on Spokane. read more

I dropped off a rather inexpensive Timex watch that had stopped beeping. It needed a new battery, but had stopped beeping well before it needed a battery. The crew at Quam's did their magic. It took several weeks - so long that I wondered if they still had the darn thing. Got a call yesterday that they had it fixed up and ready to go! Incredible service and very inexpensive. Unfortunately, there are not very many watch stores in Spokane. But I got lucky when I walked into Quam's Watch Center looking for a good band for my granddaughters Hello Kitty watch. The staff there were so helpful and kind that I bought a Casio girls watch that could get wet and wasn't digital. I want my granddaughter to learn to tell time the old fashioned way. They will certainly be my "go to" store for all of my future watch needs. I had a nice watch for about ten years and decided to get a new Chrystal at Quams. In ten years of use, the original was scratched, but never broken. I wore the watch with the new chrystal for one day and it shattered. I took it back and told them about it. They thought I wanted another one. I told them I did not. I told them that their chrystal was very fragile. They offered me 30% off on a new one. I said that I did not want one even if it was free. At that point, they became abusive. I had seen them be fairly nasty to other customers, but never to me. I will never go back. read more
