Everything the man. Leaned was amazing, the woman did not do a very good job, they ended up sending the man back to redo what she had done. We were very happy with him, he went above and beyond. We liked him so much that we didn't make an issue of him damaging our laminate flooring using soaking wet mop. Apparently he left the company and they didn't notify us. They sent out some guy we didn't know while my wife was home alone. She wouldn't let him in. When my wife called Emily, she sent her to VM. She sent a text back. She said that she had tried to contact us but didn't hear back. The only contact we got was an email that she wanted to change days. She asked for a reply if the change was okay with us. It was not so we did not reply. Also, during the time we had service from Em-Maculate Cleaning Service the price changed from hourly to fixed and the price increased without notification. When my wife tried to work things out with Emily directly she said we were too difficult as customers and she was dropping us. Who knew that asking for clear communication was "demanding".

I was purchasing from my parents, who were present for the cleaning while I was out of state. I was originally quoted over email that the cost would be $580. It ended up being $1,200, and there was 0 communication with me that the quoted price would change. I found out when I got the invoice. I was charged for a 8 hour session with 2 people working. However, my mom told me that for the first 4 hours, only 1 cleaner was working. Also, the cleaner was an 1 hour late. Mind you, they did not inform me of either of these things. So, if my mom were not there, I would not have known. When I confronted them, they said one of their cleaners had a medical emergency. (Again, I would've been totally fine with only 1 cleaner at first if they had told me about it AND had adjusted the price accordingly instead of charging me for 2 cleaners when there was only 1). I guess, they may have assumed I didn't know the owners of the house, so they could get away with overcharging me without me knowing. So, I got the invoice for $1,200. I asked her why it was this price, since at most it should've been $760 ($95/hour for 8 hours). She said since they only had 1 person the first 4 hours, they ended up having 3 the second 4 hours to make up the time. So, it ended up being more. Also, they said they were there 10 hours but "gave me a discount" since they were late and there were mix ups. I told them I was very upset and frustrated, because had I known they were going to charge me double, I would've asked they stop the cleaning and done the rest myself. I did not expect to be blindsided with a cost double the price. They stopped replying to me on email and we continued over the phone, where they inevitably did not budge and charged me the same price for the labor since they ended up having more people. I accepted the charge, but wanted to write this review to share my experience. It's actually 2 years after the fact and I wanted to keep it to myself. As a small business owner myself, I know how damaging bad reviews can be. So, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I just got an email asking to be connected as a business partner or something and it convinced me I really needed to write this. I'd encourage you to look for other options unless you're rich enough to be able to blindly pay nearly double what you're quoted with no notice.

The communication is stellar, and with recent shifting needs around safety in regards to viral spread, I have been deeply appreciative of their willingness to wear masks and gloves for hours on end while they help us keep our house clean as we lose track of what day (or month) it is. We use them once monthly and it has been a sanity saver. I fantasize about hiring them for a weekly visit... but in our case it may be some time before we're spending that kind of budget. There have been a couple of cleanings here or there that didn't meet my expectations, and they have always been receptive to feedback and willing to take steps to make it right. (The very first clean, left a watermark from a mop bucket on our wood floor and I lost my marbles, but they made efforts and suggestions to fix the issue quickly). In my book customer service goes a LONG WAY. BUT also, the majority of cleanings have been fantastic and having my house clean enough to notice a mark on the floor, or a window blind that didn't get dusted is huge. Your first visit you should plan on a deep clean, it does two things 1) it helps you and them get to know each other and your houses needs much better 2) it's easier to maintain monthly cleanings with a house that has already had the grout scrubbed. Finally, I appreciate that we can add deep cleaning on specific items as needed. One month, we added just a deep oven clean and it was super helpful. Professional, friendly, thorough, and a super easy to navigate online system coupled with helpful humans on the other end. My picky and cold-hearted consumer heart highly recommends these fine folks.

I scheduled a deep cleaning for a townhouse we will be moving into. Clean arrival called me to cancel less than a 24 hours before the scheduled appointment after multiple confirmations via emails, text and phone call. Leaving me scrambling to find a replacement since I scheduled moving company and other things the day after this cleaning appointment. The reason Clean Arrival gave out was staff member calling in sick, which in my opinion is despite it being likely the truth just a way to try to justify short staffing issue. I suggested Clean Arrival to move existing reoccurring client to a later day so they can fit me in but was told that's not an option without looking into it or trying. I am not here to bash Clean Arrival on their cleaning qualify. I am sure they do a fine job base on other reviews. But if you want reliable cleaning service that respect your time and able to be flexible when issue occurs, find another company. Short staff is not an excuse to cancel last minute.
