As a…read moremilitary family, we have generally gotten move out cleaners or move-in cleaners and at this point I don't think anything has truly impressed me. Usually we just went with who was available the quickest. We are now retired and bought a house 5 months ago. We wanted to start the "find a cleaner" process. I did some research and stumbled upon, Paragon Cleaning. The first thing that stood out was the communication. They always responded, they were patient as well. I can be hard to get a hold of due to working in a school with no service unless my phone sits against the window. They were so patient as I was trying to set the process up. Then the day comes to finalize the set up and set the date and make the deposit. During all that I was on the train for a day trip to NYC. Seriously I was just horrible for communication on my end. I hated that for them. But, they handled it very professionally and were patient. The second thing that stood out was they were established. I think 5-6 years at this point. The last thing of many that stood out was the look of their website. It's very detailed oriented. A few days before my cleaning I was getting texts and emails to remind me. The day comes and I get a text letting me know the crew was on their way. I had no idea what to expect. The house was all theirs. Im thinking 1-2 people will come. Nope! There were 4 people who came. Josh, Ashley, Sunshine and Holly, were a great team. They all had their areas they tended too. I popped in a few times here and there on security cameras we have through the inside and outside of the home. Everything was going well! Impressed! They all kept moving. Very minimal breaks. At one point Josh pointed out the curtains to be fixed to his coworker. She handled that well and fixed it right away and thanked him for noticing it and telling her. It was so nice to see. Overall the special touches throughout were nice from toilet paper being creased to my pillows on my bed being arranged. I really felt like they all cared so much and it just was not another house to clean for the day. The shower door is spotless! The kitchen was very well done as well. My floors were mopped and that was a big improvement. One last thing to mention is the communication during the cleaning. Our toilet was leaking, somehow. So they took the liberty to shutting the water off to stop the leak until so came. I'm so thankful they caught that, communicated it to me, and sent photos! Awesome! I knew they left when I had a text they were done. They worked 8:30-12:45pm. Perfect for 4 people. Overall everything went well. I've hired them for monthly cleanings!

The price was reasonable, the scheduling was reasonable, and the rather involved consultation to give me a proper quote gave me a fair bit of peace of mind regarding the various nuances of my home - It's a bit larger than average with high ceilings, so there were a lot of nooks and crannies I'd been worried about. She organized it with me and they got it all. I also opted to have the carpets cleaned, having acquired a few stains over the years from my rampaging little munchkin, and by the time they left everything was basically as good as new... I was pretty impressed. All that said, the biggest thing for me was the flexibility and attitude. After I'd missed an appointment (My phone alarm clock failed me!) she was still graciously able to work with me and get all of the cleaning done before my deadline to have photos taken of the home - Something for which I'll always be grateful. Her cleaners were exceedingly polite and throughout the entire process she was caring, energetic, and so clearly devoted to her work that it really left an impression on me. They in turn approved the replacement motor. That was a week ago and I've called them twice and the warrenty company has called them as well due to the freezing temps. Hopefully I'll hear from them tomorrow. With the realization that the snow has closed the city down. I believe this job could have been completed before the snow came. They have a compartmentalized company as the kind lady who answered the phone has to call the boss who has to call the techs to get an answer. Yesterday. Friday, tech came to install new blower motor....wrong motor.... Tic tic tic tic tic back to the drawing board. Company gonna blame warrenty, warrenty gonna blame company. Another Week? Idk but 5 space heaters are tripping breakers. Ordered a propane heater and cleaned up the kerosene heater for operation. A good warrenty is no guarantee of timely resolution.
