I had scheduled a deep clean, which is a 4 hour cleaning and was going to be $150 and intended to use them on a monthly bases. The day came and one cleaning professional showed up on time, at noon, and immediately went to work. They don't really talk to you about what you are looking for or what you want them to focus on. The first cleaning professional was very focused and getting stuff done. The second professional didn't show up until a little over 30 min later and she seemed very distracted by her phone. It was 2:30 and they were gone, the floors were wet but I didn't get to see what they mopped with or how. I was very confused because they definitely werent here for 4 hours and our house definitely wasn't deep cleaned. We started to look around and noticed if there is something under a couch or table or behind something they didn't pick it up. The cleaning professional in the kitchen, she was the distracted one, took all the stuff on my island and moved/piled it on a small side counter. Not organized in any sort of manner. I was going to let all that pass but then I noticed my sons knees, he's a crawler, had become a dirty brown color. I became very concerned because he crawls everywhere and I didn't want him getting sick if they floors were gross. It took numerous swifter pads to clean my floors and I don't have a very big home at all. I contacted them and let them know everything and they asked if I wanted them to send out a manager the next day to clean but I had already cleaned everything myself. You would think with the package confusion and less than satisfactory services they would offer a discount but non was given and they didn't honor their military discount either. I paid for the 2 hour service, a $90 service, but had to reclean my floors, pick up stuff from under stuff, and they didn't even touch my laundry room.

What was supposed to be a deep clean ended up being a below average standard clean. They claim…read moreto clean windows and blinds, which I paid extra for on top of the deep clean, and then when I questioned David he said they only dust them because they are so delicate. Standard cleaning involves dusting blind and windows so why the extra charge per window?. The mirrors looked worse, very streaky, and I had to clean them again along with the outside of my microwave and glass top stove. My pantry floor was not swept and still had crumbs and dog food pieces on the floor. I took my soray bottle that had water and vinegar in it and sprayed it on the floor and baseboard and lightly wiped it up with a paper towel and it was very dirty. Now I will say that there was quite a good amount of dog hair from my golden retriever puppy and there was dust but nothing but in my house that required any scrubbing, not even in my bathrooms. I am very meticulous and OCD about baseboards, dirty doors and door frames, handrails, floors, etc so from a naked eye you couldn't see much. I paid $520 for a deep clean in a 3 bedroom townhouse, 1400 sq ft, at the most that I have only lived in for a year. I should be able to run my fingers along the tops of pictures and baseboards and not have dust on them. My whole thought on that is if hadn't even been dusted then I know it wasn't wiped with cleaner. I worked for a cleaning company when I was 19 and that is honestly how I learned to clean well and pay attention to detail. At the basic standard clean level mirrors, stove , microwave, tv"s should be dust and streak free, carpet along baseboards should have been Downy bead free, and floors should have been dirt free. The double sinks in the kitchen weren't even cleaned. I was so excited to return home after 4 hours to a deep cleaned home and found a half &$#*+ job. This was not even a week ago and I am still irritated. The 2 employees were very pleasant and professional so I am not blaming them. It is the company's responsibility to make sure that they properly train their staff to uphold their standards. All I got were excuses from David and I would have to wait a few days for a supervisor to come out and fix things. He said "Well there was a lot of dog hair on the the floors" Please note that a less than 10 minute one time sweep would fix that issue. I gave him a generous $200 standard clean offer and he refused. I refuse to use the same company that botched the job and will be looking for another company to get the job done correctly. Would you go back to the same doctor or mechanic that did a less than satisfactory job? My goal was to have it deep cleaned and then pay for a biweekly standard clean. A standard clean, from most cleaning companies, would have left my house looking cleaner than their deep clean. I was still charged the outrageous $520 deep clean fee even after refusing to pay the full price... He kept trying to run my card through everyday and I'll admit that I did transfer all of the money from that bank account into my other bank account, but my paychecks are deposited into that one account and I guess I wasn't fast enough with transferring the money. I am in the process of disputing this charge with my bank. I am an RN and I work very long, physically and mentally demanding shifts so I thought I would treat myself and include this in my self care regimen. If anyone that reads this has any recommendations for cleaning services in the Portsmouth Virginia area please let me know. I usually get my whole home cleaned bi-monthly but my usual lady has been closed due to Covid since May so I thought I'd try another place out. The booking process was very easy-I grabbed one of the available dates and paid my deposit online. I was assigned Kristen for my scheduled clean. She came in, with a mask, and explained the procedure and was very friendly/professional. You do have to pay for the service up front. In 3 hours, she cleaned only the kitchen and stated that she ran out of time because my cabinets were tall. They are tall, however, the rest of my kitchen wasn't "3 hour deep clean" dirty. I would say just the stovetop had some cooking splashes but nothing else in there was severely dirty to require that much time. In three hours, she did the outer cabinets, stove top, outside of oven, outside of fridge, outside of cabinets, sink area, outside of microwave, range hood, fingerprints from the door and the island top. This took 3 hours...I know it was only one person but time management could have been better. She did do a good job---one would expect with that much time. I was hoping for her to at least get the kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms cleaned in that timeframe. My original cleaner deep cleaned my entire house in 3 hours and did an exceptional job and when my husband came home from work, he would KNOW she came by. He didn't notice a difference this time since the kitchen wasn't a disaster to begin with. The work from Sharon's cleaning company was good, but not something I would go back to, hence the two star deduction. I hope she ends up hiring more people to commit to the deals and hours that she puts out.
