Very unprofessional management! One of the cleaning ladies vacuumed up my diamond earrings. When I let them know, the guy calls me and asks if I'm wearing them or if I lost them. He was not taking it seriously at all. Suprise, they found one of my earrings in the vacuum all torn up. But instead of replacing them with a comparable pair, he tried to "fix" the one they found and replace the missing one with a smaller one. He refuses to provide any receipts or info on the earrings. I've been a TCA fan and customer for 6 months give or take a little. When looking for a service to hire for supplemental cleaning I fell in love with their process of a Rotation Schedule so that each time a different area of your house gets special attention. That's just an outstanding fit for my household and my own personal cleaning style..or lack thereof. The cleaning teams I have met have all been very nice, professional and accommodating. I've been pleased with that last part especially. I work from home and can be computer bound many times of the day and/or night, have two small kids and a debilitating disease that rarely, but has happened, left me unwilling or unable to leave my house. I've had to re-schedule multiple times as a bi-weekly customer, and Erica in the office has never made me feel bad about last minute sick kids and the such. I really appreciate the willingness to work around life's lemons if you will. The professionals work in teams, and in my experience, get my house far more pleasant in under two hours than I could accomplish myself in a week. I judge the comfort level of my house on my floors (we all have that one thing), and with sticky kids, fluffy dogs, and this incessant rain, the days I know TCA has been over I'm all too excited to get home, take off my shoes and skip around the room. I have no real experience with any other cleaning service, but for a few isolated instances over the years, so to be transparent I can't really compare I guess(?) to other companies. But in my opinion, TCA is reasonably priced, incredibly helpful, and they do a fantastic job combating my family's filth. I see no reason to switch it up, and I consider hiring them one of the best gifts I've ever given myself. I'm happier in my home and work environment. My family can wrestle on the floor without me thinking about them getting covered in dog dirt. And though it's a luxury expense which makes me feel weird when otherwise I try to keep a fairly tight budget, the expense made me realize that No, I can't do everything. This is an area I lack majorly in and TCA has corrected that problem. Shout out to Team #2, Chrystal and Lexi for my home cleaning 6/12. I have used this company for over 5 years at different houses. They are an excellent company with great employees who clean for them. They are thorough, dependable and honest! I never worry about leaving them at my home. Even when there has been times when I was a little disappointed, they always corrected the problem immediately! Trying to sell my house Had to have them come back and re-clean my house, and they still didn't clean thoroughly 2nd time around. Bathrooms were good, except spots of mildew left in tile. They only dust AROUND objects. My TV stand was half dusted (front part, not back half). My son's headboard (that has shelves) wasn't dusted completely; they only dusted top half of it?? Blinds still had dust in master and son's room. Kitchen sink still had water marks. Cobwebs were still present hanging off entertainment center doors. I initially started my service with the cleaning authority 09/27/21 when I was pregnant. Everything started great and their model seems awesome in theory, but things quickly declined. I don't think they have the staffing to continue their "rotation" model. There were a few times where a team couldn't even make it out to me for my scheduled cleaning and I just cancelled for that week because rescheduling is a nightmare. But the idea behind their model is they start with a deep clean and then every time they come after, there are rotation areas to keep it clean. More often than not, the rotations were completely ignored and the team would come in and do whatever they felt like. One time, I called to complain because not only was pretty much everything on the rotation ignored, but what was cleaned was done terribly. Their excuse was the team that visited that day was part time and had to be done for the day at a certain time. I'm sorry, but that's not my problem. I pay for this service, so I expect to have my home cleaned. So they send another team to redo the cleaning and the same thing happens! To try and make sure this doesn't happen again, I get assigned a permanent team who I was pleased with in the past. They come last week and the SAME THING HAPPENS. The team ignored items on the rotation and did an overall poor job. I called to cancel my service and was told a manger would be calling me. They never did. But I did get an email today acknowledging my request to terminate my service and "thanking me for my business". Don't waste your time and money with these people. read more

Although I've used several cleaning companies, it wasn't until I used The Cleaning Authority that I finally found "clean house happiness". I love that they use environmental and pet friendly products, and that a "quality control inspector" surprises them from time to time - although my team doesn't need it. My home is cared for, my 14 year old dog Bogey is talked to and loved on, and I am happy to come home to a clean house. Oh - and the price is definitely reasonable. Had some work done at our house while we we're out of town. We were promised a clean house but returned to a big mess. Contractor said he would send a cleaning crew out...next week...day before Christmas! Called several places and all wanted to come out to give estimate before committing and none committed to an immediate response. Called Cleaning Authority and they gave estimate over the phone, set up a time for the next day, showed up on time, worked fast and did a great job and price was very reasonable. I set up an appointment for after 2pm so I could be home as not to disturb my wife who works from home. They showed up by 1pm and interrupted a very important meeting my wife was in. I called the company and they didn't seem to concerned about it and I reiterated that they were to be there only 2 hours. In those 2 hours, all they were supposed to clean was 2 1/2 bathrooms and the kitchen. They spent 1 hour and 35 minutes upstairs and the rest downstairs. By the time it hit 2 hours, I stopped them and thanked them for their services. They barely touched the kitchen and were more concerned about taking inventory of their cleaning supplies than they were cleaning. After they left, my wife said that the bathrooms were still not cleaned very well after spending over an hour in each (there were 2 people, 1 per bathroom). The worst part?! The house smells worse now than before they got here. Apparently they don't use cleaning supplies, they use vinegar! We've had to light scented candles throughout the entire house, trying to kill the smell. It's absolutely horrendous and giving us all a hell of a headache. When I told the cleaner (for the second time) that 2 hours was up, she stated that the minimum is 2 1/2 hours and replied that's not what's in the contract. I think they still charged us for 2 1/2 hours, which I think is theft. I will not ever be using this company again and I hope they realize that not doing a good job and over pricing their customers is bad juju for a company. Had the cleaning authority for about 8 months. Started off ok. They never clean what they say they are such as baseboard and grout. Usually in and out in about 45 minutes. They broke something in the house just about every time they came to clean. The broke a full wine bottle in our kitchen and ruined our rugs then gave us $20 credit. Then they started charging my credit card without my acknowledgement. After I cancelled the service, they are now trying to collect money for a cleaning that they never did. I would not recommend this company. Terrible decision on my part. read more

I have finally had to fire TCA after using them for about a year. The price was right, almost everyone that came to clean was pleasant, and I like that they use their own equipment, BUT I got very tired of calling Patricia after they left having found that things weren't moved on countertops, spills were still not cleaned up, shelves not dusted, and last week, the breakfast table and rug completely not touched. There were many spills on it and debris on the rug. I called and left a message on Friday afternoon after they left and I got home, but never got a response. Called Patricia many days later and she had never checked the message. Many times cleaners were sent who were still undergoing their training and it was readily apparent that they needed more training. I'm looking for more consistency and better quality of service when I hire someone. read more

Antonio & Gina did a great job. The 2 ladies did a great job last month too. I especially like the fact that they listened when I requested no scents and didn't use any. There is a slight odor from the floor cleaner but no floral or citrus to make my allergies flare up. It's so nice to have a clean house and even nicer when it's cleaned by someone other than me! Mediocre job. First clean was alright, each one after got worse. They were great at accommodating to our families changing schedule but were very pushy about booking. Many times, the "teams" did not bring all of the needed supplies. Cleanings were definitely not detail oriented and not all listed areas were cleaned each time. I'm currently looking for a different cleaning service. I think the most frustrating thing is their communication skills suck. I've had them show up even when I had cancelled the week prior, they don't give appointment confirmations or reminders, and they wanted to charge $10 a wall to SPOT clean fingerprints (toddlers) and them cleaning the blinds is a joke. There's still tons of dust and spider webs and my blinds are now worse off (breaking) than before i started with them them cleaning my home. They have never wet washed the inside of my windows which to me is a basic cleaning chore. There's always someone different cleaning which I don't like. Last time I told them to clean the shower we aren't currently using and it doesn't even look like she touched it. In general the house does look cleaner when they're done, but last time even the floors didn't look that great. I'm mostly frustrated with their management/scheduling/communication. Very disappointed. We were told that after the first two monthly cleanings the price would drop to the biweekly rate. After my credit card was charged wrong I was told they don't honor that agreement even though I have it in writing. Very disappointed because the service was good but not the cost. I've had house cleaners for years. Molly Maid, another service along with individuals and I really like the Cleaning Authority. I've been using Cleaning Authority since February. The individuals I had were skipping areas and I got to where I had to point things out to them they failed to clean. Someone always shows up and usually, you have the same team assigned to you. Each team has a leader and it is that leader's responsibility to oversee the work of the crew they bring to your home. They clean on a rotation and I have found if you need something extra done in between the rotation, they do it. If you have an issue, I have found them very accommodating to correct any problem so I don't see why the negative reviews on here. A lot of people in my subdivision use this company and have a different team than I do and I've not heard any complaints and they have all been eager to refer Cleaning Authority to their neighbors. I wouldn't pay that much attention to the negative reviews unless there were a lot of them. I'm pretty particular and I find them to be a great company and very organized. read more
