I got a card for Alba cleaning through my apartment complex and got the move in/out package for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment and they were absolutely fantastic! The price was extremely reasonable, even after a tip. They were courteous and and I felt comfortable leaving my apartment to let them clean. So, I desperately needed help with my floors. I called and they were happy to work me in the following week which I appreciated greatly. Day of my 1st service I received a text 30 minutes AFTER the scheduled appt time that the lady who was coming was having car trouble and running behind and that she would be there about an hour late. I had nothing to do and I realize this kind of stuff happens, so I wasn't that worried. I told them see ya when you get here kind of thing. The girl was SUPER sweet and mostly did a great job. My only complaints were that there was one spot where the floor wasn't swept, it was underneath an antique sewing machine, so there were still clumps of hair there. NO big deal.. and something I would have addressed the 2nd appt. The only other complaint I had was whatever chemical they use to clean the floors left streaks & a dull residue that although the floors were clean it just wasn't what I like. I normally mop my floors with a steam mop so that's what I'm used to. Again no big deal, and I would have addressed it the 2nd appt. The reason I won't be using this service again is because when the lady was supposed to show up for the 2nd appt, she never did. I got a phone call 30 minutes prior to the appt that she couldn't find a ride and there was no one else to come out to the house. I was on the fence about keeping the service and this made my decision. I don't do business with unreliable. Just didn't work out. ***Edited in response to Owner : I did say the floors looked great and I meant it because she did do a great job. She can't help what the chemical did and I would NEVER have made her redo it. It was only something that I would have discussed with her on the 2nd appt and maybe used my steam mop instead or come up with an alternative plan. Its just small things that I noticed which in fairness the company has not had a chance to make right. So I added a star back on just out of fairness. I appreciate the offer to make things right but I don't think I'll be using your services any longer. I ended up doing my floors myself last Friday and have decided to try to keep them done myself. I've used Alba Custom Cleaning twice now and have been please both times. The first time I used them I did have the same issue with others where the person to clean couldn't get a ride or their was an issue with her car and I had to reschedule. I almost went with a different company but I rescheduled and was happy I did. Both appointments (after the initial reschedule) they were right on time, professional, quick (but not rushed), polite and friendly. I have had her do my downstairs both times and will have her back to do the upstairs probably next month. She only received 4 stars from me because I've only used her service, so 'as good as it gets' would be a stretch and also because of the initial reschedule. read more

Easy quote on a complex home cleaning move out. An average trailer 1500 sqft with 2 folks for a year and 2 dogs! They quoted fairly, flexed when my schedule suddenly changed, arrived on time, brought their own equipment and cleansers, and knocked out the work within 3 hrs! They did a fantastic job on my move out cleaning for my apartment. Quick and professional. Thorough. Only problem is they charged me an extra $30 for a half bathroom. Their website doesn't let you choose half baths so I picked two. Wasn't too happy with the extra charge for the half. Especially given that it took them less than 5 mins to detail it. I used Alba a few times. The first couple of times I had good luck. The last time they did not do a good job at all. The floors looked like they had merely been swiffered. The master bath was not clean. The sinks and countertop have been very lightly wiped down, like someone took a Clorox wipe to them. The floor still had debris had not been swept up, so obviously wasn't mopped. I contacted them twice and they never responded. read more

I wish I could say the same as the other reviews because the man on the phone was very pleasant, but they did a terrible job cleaning my vacant home. I was surprised that they finished so quickly when they called me that they were done and to come inspect the home. I had to leave work so I did a quick inspection and paid. However, upon a closer look at the home later in the day it was very apparent they didn't do much other than wash the floors and take my money. I just bought my house in San Antonio and it was very dirty. Alba Custom Cleaning did an amazing job! When they finished they suggested to have my floors waxed (very simple concrete floors) and because I haven't moved in yet I figured it would be much easier to do that without furniture in the way, so I asked them if they could do it before Friday. I am so thankful I picked this company. What a relief to find a company that was reasonably priced and their work is great! They gave me a report time between 9-10a and they got there five mins till 10. Which is what I stressed about the most. I was so excited that they were on time! It was a female and male, who spoke English and Spanish. They asked if it mattered to me where they started first which I thought was good of them to check with me first. The female did a great job on the kitchen and dining area. I liked that she asked if I wanted to save certain items from the freezer I had forgotten about. Anything that might have been in their way of cleaning they moved it out of the way, cleaned, then moved it back. The male did a great job in the main bathroom and other rooms. I actually saw him wiping down the actual doors in the rooms. I didn't even think about that needing to be wiped down. Overall, they were a great team.
