Alia, the owner, acknowledged that the cleaning was unacceptable and that damaged had accrued, however, she was unwilling to help pay for the damage, and said we would need to take her to court. When we tried to take her to small claims court, it did not go to fruition because she provided a fake address and could not be reached by any means. Additionally, when the service was booked, it was advertised as "bonded and insured". However, Alia said that she was "in between insurances" and was not able to submit the damage to her insurance. Overall, there was massive damage, false advertising, and my husband and I were left with an enormous bill because of it. While I understand that COVID is an unprecedented time for small businesses, they are also unprecedented for A LOT of people. Treating people/customers that way is a horrible thing for any business/person to do. Needless to say, an $1,800 loss was a huge blow for us. Damage and negligence seen in images: - Cleaning product (Fabuloso - Dollar store product) and water was left on floor which warped the wood in almost all rooms of the apartment. The floor needed to be completely replaced (per our old landlord) - Cleaner that was used to clean oven was used on the kitchen sink / bathroom, and remanence was left all over the oven and counter. - The mirror was completely coated in smudges (likely also oven cleaner used) - Trash was left out in the hallway next to the front door - Dirty scrub brush left behind - Shower/tub looked dirtier than before it was cleaned Not only do I NOT recommend the company due to the quality of work/lack of help from the owner, I also warn the liability you are risking because if anything goes wrong/gets broken, you will not get a dime or likely even a response. Note, I guarantee the owner will respond saying this post is illegitimate with a false story. If that does happen, please do not believe her as it will be a complete lie. This story/pictures are 100% true.

I recently hired the company to clean a house that is going to be on sale soon. The house is pretty much cleared out, newly painted, and staged with a few pieces of furniture with almost no decorations inside. The purpose of the cleaning was specifically addressed when the owner came for an estimate, which was a 'deep cleaning'. At least, I expected to see some shine and sparkle on sinks and faucets. I was told that two cleaning crew came late (it was scheduled at 8 am) and one person left at 1 pm. I found that one remaining lady was working alone (without much of proper materials) until 6 pm, and the house wasn't getting close to where it was supposed to be. I called the owner and explained what was going on. By that time, there was still dust on most of the furniture, ceiling fans were not touched, water marks weren't taken care of, windows weren't cleaned, and stains in the kitchen were not properly removed (and yes, there were more). I took some photos and sent to the owner, and she sent two ladies with cleaning matetials after an hour or so. Now the drama began. They were so loud talking to each other and talking to the owner (as if they were fighting) while they were in the house. They seemed quite incompetent on what they were supposed to be doing. Time passed. I finally had to point out some of the places that need attention so I could have the house back, as there were other things to take care of before the photo session happens in two days. More time passed, and it's 9 pm. The cleaning is not complete. They left after 10 pm with the payment. Next morning, I could see things that should have been done the day before. The morning light even highlighted the dusty spots and stains everywhere and I got the impression that they did not touch most of the furniture with attention. I took photos, sent to the owner, and said that the house does not seem to be cleaned by 'professionals'. The owner said that she does not believe if the photos were legit and made wrongful accusations against me. I told her that I have absolutely no reason to lie to her. When I told her that the work/business should be done with trust between company and client, she texted, "lady, I don't need your opinion." When I asked her about the incomplete job, her response was "what do you want?" Her voice and text messages were rude and there was no sign of apology. I told her that her sincere apology should come first after such a bad, unprofessional service, as I wasn't looking for a discount, refund, or having them over in the house again. If you are wondering about the size of the house, it is just over 2,000 sq ft with fully finished (empty, carpeted) basement with a half bath and small window. Once again, the house is staged for sale with minimum furniture. After dealing with such unprofessional and rude owner, paying $380.00, and being wrongfully accused of sending her "forged pictures", I still have not received any apology from her. At this point, I do not need it. This is the reason I wrote this review to warn people who are looking for home cleaning service in northern VA. Read less (Update) Laundry room was flooded after the cleaning crew left! The house cleaning was horrible enough and I found the basement flooded after my first use of washer since the ladies left. The lady who cleaned the washer did not put the hoses back after cleaning it. Why bother it in the first place? I had to vacuum at least 25 gallons of water!!! What a horrible experience and such a bad company!!!!
