This is one of the few places in the valley where you can find bulk spices and they've got plenty to keep you busy seasoning nearly anything you can think of. They'll even look to procure stuff you're looking for if they don't have it. The accoutrements were also quite nice! Lots of different salts, hot sauces, a boss cheese selection, soaps, holding vessels and serving items! Truly a diamond in the rough here. I liked all four beers in my flight, including a stout, a sour and two IPAs. The guy working there was great - we swapped stories about the trials and tribulations of being left handed.

Here they have milkshake beer which isn't exactly like beer and ice cream together but a kind of beer with a nice smooth flavor to it. I got Destination Home here which is a milkshake IPA which I really fell in love with. The beer was so awesome I could have ordered another or something completely different... I'm sure I would have like it... like the cream pepper beer for instance. But I controlled myself and just got the one since we were on a sampling tour of breweries we haven't visited yet so we moved on. The whiskey is excellent as well and goes great in a libation. During the COVID crisis, they flexed their creative muscles and started distilling alcohol for hand sanitizer- sources most of what they needed from folks in the area. It was quite a nice display! They sell in plenty of local stores as well as from their garage. They've also got some swag for sale and the shirts look good! They're a great bunch, making a great product! Using yelp we found a few but Swede Hill stuck out to me. With only two reviews and both at 5 stars, I was excited to try something new. Pam and Kevin are so nice and welcoming! They have such a cute set up and welcoming committee in their puppy, Susie. Kevin starting distilling as a hobby and has turned it into a line or spirits worth trying. Moonshine (apple and cherry pie), raspberry vodka and a whiskey too! All super good and easy to drink and especially dangerous. Both are very knowledgeable and will entertain your questions about the distilling process. I feel like this is a stop I must make whenever stopping in Yakima! Definitely call ahead to make a reservation since it is such a small operation.
