I have gone back to this business twice and even though I still find my review 3/5 fair, I feel some things from my previous review should be revised. First I still stand by what I said about their vape. It is clear that atleast from the employees I spoke with, they dont know about vapes and the fact the destroyed mine before I walked out the door is all the proof I will ever need. Do not let them handle your vape. They are hands on with a lot of items that are yours and theirs, each time theyve had to handle their pieces, I had to stand there and wait for them to figure out what I could already see. Then show them what they missed after they are done displaying it.
So when it comes to anything non-glass related I just feel the employees here and under par and wont admit it because they want to make a sale.
Now before I said they had TERRIBLE vape selection. I have gone back twice and they have greatly increased their inventory. There are products from numerous brands including my trusted aspire brand. But again, I would only go if you know EXACTLY what you want. I would not go there asking about ohms, wattages etc. I dont think they know anything beyond what is in their shelves.
Their glassware seems to be on the mid to high end and they have the entire store filled front to back with it. My only issue was the fact that I asked for a price range, and like their car salesman at their Prestige Motors lot (they are associated Im pretty sure) I was shown higher than that. I then found the same thing I wanted for 20 bucks cheaper on the left side of the store scattered around. So even though they are fast to offer you assistance. DECLINE IT, look at their inventory yourself first. They either dont want you to know or are overwhelmed by their inventory and dont know where everything is.
In the end it is a pleasant experience, it simply feels a tad shady because as an ex salesman, it is easy to tell where the managers are pressuring the employees for sales and teaching them salesman tricks to achieve that.
As I stated before, its not high end pricey, but it is a pretty penny for most items. All of their items are marked 5-10 bucks above what they would be willing to take, they do this so they can easily knock off 5 bucks and make it seem like you are getting a deal. Its simple, if they dont offer you a lower price, walk out the door or try to buy 2 items to earn that "bargain" But in the end its not terrible, simply what you can get for $16 at Carrots you will see sold here for $20 but how much is the different locations convenience worth to you for 4 bucks when you could potentially become a regular customer and likely get it for a buck or two lower than Carrots.
These guys although in it for the money (clearly) they do still treat their customers right and make it feel like you are getting a bargain. To a true and experienced bargain hunter, this ploy can be insulting but welcoming to the fact that you are going to get to know these guys and vice versa a little more each time you come in. They do make the shopping experience fun and comfortable. They are not a bad business, I simply think their ethics could be a bit better but from their other businesses in the area, I have become familiar with these guys and come to expect it. You will pay a bit more but you get slightly better quality and could potentially talk them down on price as long as you are not a Jack and trying to rip them off. Usually if they won't drop a price to be competitive, I buy it from their competitor but thats only happened once out of 3 trips and the place that beat them was a mini-mart and I wanted CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP which they DONT DONT DONT sell. Only good quality glass with the biggest and most customizable selections ive found in the area (carrots, minimarts, smoke shops, and a glass shop i cant remember the name of). Just again DO NOT GO for Vape items unless you know exactly what you want and simply going to pull it off the shelf and buy without any questions. I really feel that they should take the word "vape" out of anything to do with their business. They simply sell some vape items and juices in one corner of the store.
