Outstanding purchase experience with the team at The Chopper Gallery. I live 1.5 hours north so worked out the deal with Karson via email. I kept filling up his inbox and he was 100% Professional, 100% Patient and Kind and 100% on prompt responses to my myriad of questions. Made it down today and he quickly pulled my bike around for me to look her over. And then no normal (like you get at HB Harley) sales guy bullshit. After I confirmed condition and asked to move to finance it took all of 10 minutes until I was in the office with Tyler. Tyler had me through the full process in just under 30 minutes. He did not try to hard sell me on the normal finance office profit items (can you say Riverside Harley?). After finance Karson took the time to help me set up and connect my phone and Sena and get Car Play running and checked for any other questions. When it came down to pick up, The Chopper Gallery loaded the bike onto the trailer and even pointed out that the straps I brought were not safe. They offered better ones and so glad I bought those! ~1/2 on my trip one of the straps I brought kept slipping, we had to check @ every pit stop and tightened at least once. Financing was really patient and helpful as I juggled Credit Unions. In the end, their options worked best for me and she helped me close quickly! 100% Reccomend! I wanted to buy a motorcycle from Chopper Gallery and when they went to start it they jumped the battery and burned out the EHC. I spoke with Mike who I hope doesn't own the place because he screwed up the sale from start to finish. I told them the problem and how to fix it but I guess Mike didn't like someone who knew what they're talking about because he said he would "keep me informed" of when it was fixed and after a couple of weeks the bike was sold to someone else. Ever wish you could pay full price for a bike and then have it shipped to you, and when it arrives the fender is torn to hell, the engine interior is ground into hamburger with metal chips flying around, the front fork has been blown out, and then, when you talk to the dealer - Chopper Gallery - they tell you basically that you're an idiot, and that the fender thing isn't their problem (even though it was THEIR transporter that they picked)...Ever wish you could just be treated like that? Well, then CALL THE CHOPPER GALLERY and buy a bike from them. They'll bend you over for sure and not give a crap. Just call Karsen - he's THE MAN. Good place to buy a bike, but a terrible place to have work done. Customer service is great, as well as pricing. But the issues lay squarely on the people who are actually doing, or not doing, the actual work. Mechanics with shitty attitudes, and lots of excuses who will be putting hands on your bike. My issues are 'mostly' with safety. Oil on my front brake pads (wouldn't stop bike), oversized cables left flopping around (catching when turning), a grip not securely installed (left loose), and new handlebars & bushings not tightened down (moves backwards every time I shift or hit a bump). They rebuilt the carb incorrectly that left the choke wide open, never closing. The bike smoked, burned gas twice as fast, sounded and ran like shit. I will not take the bike back to have these things addressed because it was like pulling teeth to get them to even do the work the 1st time. I was told my 1999 Electra Glide Classic was 'to old' and that I should just get rid of it. I'm paying AGAIN to have the same work done the correct way with another shop. read more
