They will even grab you a fresh baked one out the back upon request. I stumbled on this hidden gem one day after a my last craving for a waffle cone was unfulfilled at a franchise frozen yogurt spot. I won't name any names, but I hadn't been to the unnamed commercial spot in over 20 years. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. The waffle cone was stale and had a tinge of plastic taste. I literally thought I'd been poisoned. After looking up ice cream spots with good reviews, my daughter and I found Emmy's. It was not a disappointment at all. The ice cream flavors were limited but very premium. Although they don't make their own ice cream in-house, they get it from the best place I can think of ordering ice cream from - Wisconsin. They have a ton of really premium toppings for a great price too. Most are just $.50, with some of the nut toppings costing a dollar. My daughter tried their orange sorbet with gummy bears and the swear, they were the best gummy bears I've ever tried. I went straight for my go-to, pistachio almond. When I tell you it's stood up to some of the best Italian creamery pistachio I've had in my home town of New Orleans, I'm not exaggerating. Creamy, rich ice cream with an abundance of pistachio. All I needed was one scoop. So amazing and flavorful. Being skeptical after my last botched experience getting a waffle cone at a major franchise dessert spot, I decided to get my ice cream in their signature waffle cone. Oh. My. Goodness. It's like a confection by itself. Delicately buttery, perfectly sweet and super crispy. I hear they even make waffle cone nachos?! Aside from having great dessert, the staff is friendly and they have a nice little sitting area, complete with a soda-shop type bar to sit. It's not a question of if I'll be back, but if I'll be able to pass it up when I'm in the vicinity. Delicious!

The Pac Man (ice cream flavored), Amaretto Freeze, and Wedding Cake are always my go-to flavors. The staff are consistently friendly, and the outdoor seating gives the place a fun, welcoming atmosphere. My only drawback is the pricing. For a small stuffed snowball with a little condensed milk on top, it came out to nearly $5, which feels a bit steep for New Iberia. If the prices were a little lower, I'd probably stop by much more often when I'm in town. That said, the quality is excellent, and it's still one of my favorite places to grab a snowball. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving a sweet treat.

(they went cardless for a while). They have good menu variety and always have enough ice to juice ratio. My personal order is a medium yellow cake batter. I wouldn't recommend getting a stuffed snowball because it's just not enough ice cream to be worth the extra charge. They do have a drive through and service is always fast and the staff is always nice. It's more rustic looking and has a nice outdoor seating area that's covered with fans. Highly recommend if you're passing through!!!

I couldn't find the menu on their website. However, when I Google search Park Bistro Brunch Menu it brought me to their site and a brunch menu appeared. When we visited for dinner we got the Crispy Shrimp, Chicken Nuggets, Nashville Hot Shrimp Burger and Potato Gnocchi w/Bolognese. Crispy Shrimp - 9.0 Very good, would definitely suggest trying an order. Has to be their top or one of their top seller. Chicken Nuggets - 8.7 I do not currently see them listed on their Dinner or Friday Lunch menu. They were definitely worth ordering. It was fun having a homemade chicken nugget at a nice restaurant. Hot Shrimp Burger - 9.2 Very, very good. The aioli and pickles are so good with the shrimp and spice. Would definitely get again however, I plan on trying a new dish next time. Potato Gnocchi w/Bolognese - 9.1 This is what my Wife ordered and she said it was very yummy. Which, I tried some and she was right! If we went back it would be hard for her to stray away from ordering this. For our brunch visit we had Cheddar Biscuits, Crispy Shrimp, Chicken & Waffles, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Whipped Ricotta Toast. Cheddar Biscuits - 8.2 During our visit the biscuits taste good however, were a little dense and lacked cheddar. Crispy Shrimp - See Above Chicken & Waffles - 8.5 They were good, the chicken was juicy and had good flavor. Don't know if we would order again. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - 9.1 Aside from the shrimp, it was the best thing we ordered. The pancakes were fluffy and all of the flavors of the contributing aspects of the dish were delicious. The pancakes were accompanied by Blueberry Compote, Maple Mascarpone and Candied Pecans. Whipped Ricotta Toast - 8.6 All of the components of this dish played well together. Not sure if we would order again, but definitely worth trying once.

I happened to be in the area visiting the hospital and decided to stop in during the week to try a few cheesecake bites and see what seasonal flavors were available. The menu clearly rotates based on the season and possibly even weekly, which keeps things interesting. I ordered the six bite box for around eighteen dollars, which felt like a fair price for the variety. I am trying to remember everything I selected, but I know I tried the seasonal Turducken flavor that reminded me of a sweet potato cheesecake with apples on top. That one might have been my favorite. It could have also been the pumpkin spice option, but either way it was a perfect fall flavor. I also picked two Biscoff bites which were delicious, along with a turtle bite. The only surprise was the strawberry. I thought I was choosing a classic strawberry cheesecake based on the glaze, but it turned out to be more of a jalapeno strawberry with a spicy glaze. This was completely my fault for not asking, because the staff is very open and willing to explain any flavor. I am interested to see what other options rotate through the menu and will definitely stop by again the next time I am in Lafayette.

My friend and I tasted a little bit of everything but we really enjoyed the cinnamon roll churros, the grilled cheese brisket sandwich and the chilaquiles breakfast plate. I do wish that there was a little more meat on the chilaquiles plate but the tortilla chips were perfectly fried and crispy even underneath all that salsa verde. As far as portion sizes go, the plates were huge and the churros were warm and crispy with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar. With that in mind, I would return solely for the classic combination of just the churros and white chocolate (although there are dozens of other add-ons to be had--like pistachio crème or cream cheese).
