I remember being in this place when I was a kid, and although the decor has changed (not a lot mind you) , the service and quality remain at the very highest level. In Glasgow, we are pretty lucky to have some splendid curry houses. It appears however, that the quality does not stop at the Glasgow/Paisley border... If you ever find your wee self in sunny Paisley, then I would HIGHLY recommend this place!

He then told me he had tried to deliver my food but there was no answer. No one has came to my door and they also had my mobile number which never got called. My partner then went to the shop to pick up the food and was told it wasn't there. They hadn't even made the order then tried to lie about it and by this time it was too late to eat from elsewhere. Never eating from any of these takeaways again the worst service after being a customer for over 10 years I am very disappointed. The receptionist was terrible and clearly had no training. Very poor standards.

Home Wok was the station... hands down. This is a great wee take out. The food is fresh, has obviously quality grub used in it's prep and come at a 'really? How much?' surprisingly low cost. The thing that really stands out for me in this place is the flavours. A good whack of chines takeaways cater for the bland-loving crowd. This joint finds the 'added kick' button and jams it down whilst the 'don't jam the added kick button' alarm goes off like crazy. On the table this time? Satay chicken skewers, maple syrup marinated ribs, sweet chilli deep fried shredded chicken and eh... chips (hanging head in shame). All went down a treat and left no bloated / hungry feel an hour after consumption. Hmmmm... I'm really reconsidering my rating for this one. I've given it four stars, but the review for me reads five. My brain (making a rare appearance) is going through the other takeaway options and scoring them off beside this wee place... nah man, this is a five. And here's why: - Great fresh and satisfying grub - Reasonable and comparable pricing - Quick! 35 mins from order to delivery on a Saturday night! - Friendly service Roll on Saturday!

Family run, you can tell it's a favourite amongst locals. Despite its minute size, it serves up a mighty menu and suits most - from those who want a stomach-bursting chinese meal to those who are seeking something healthier and more authentic to those who just want a tasty 'snack' after a few drinks. They even have sushi boxes! If you want to be really indulgent you can also order home delivery for £1.50 per mile. Really tasty and a gem on Byres Road.

Still to try their main…read moremeals or lunch menu but they have quite a good choice of meals & they do a 'Teatime Deal' which is £9 for 2 main courses & drinks, pretty good. What I really do like about here is they serve their breakfasts until 4pm. Great. Sometimes you wake up a bit late & want breakfast & other times it might be 'lunchtime' but all you want is a big fry up brekkie - this Mozzers cafe caters for that. Thumbs up. They also do a wide range of breakfast options from the healthy (mixed berry granola & yogurt) to the naughty (the belly busting big Scottish Breakfast) and recently they added a Meat-free Breakfast which I had on my last visit. It was okay but a little bland; the Quorn sausage, toast, beans & fried egg were nice but the mushrooms, tomato & hash browns (which I usually LOVE) were all quite tasteless. On my first visit I had the Wee Scottish Breakfast and that was really good - just the right amount of everything & I was still pooped afterwards, all for a bargainous price of £3.75. The coffee here is not too shabby and they have things like Build Your Own Burger, kids meals for £2.99 and meals for under 600 calories. In fact all meals have the calorie contents beside them which is a really good (if sometimes terrifying!) addition to the menu. Upon out first visit we noticed how blummin' annoying it was that the doors into the cafe are automatic & everytime someone walked past to enter the supermarket next door they kept opening & during the winter this was hellish. Thankfully they have since corrected this by adding a push button on the doors outside & in so there is slightly less of the annoying Partick wind tunnel bellowing through the cafe every 2 minutes. Tables & chairs are reasonably comfortable and the place is kept quite clean & tidy most of the time too. Service is quite quick but it's not a canteen style service even though it may look that way. You order, they give you a table number & it is then brought to you when ready - it means things are being cooked to order rather than simply some pre-cooked/warmed food being plonked on your plate as & when you place your order. Good prices & reasonable food in a pleasant enough environment. Great for a lazy/late brekkie, cheap lunch or super value, sit-in teatime meal.

Review 100!! It is…read moresort of fitting that this place is my hundredth review as it feels like Trudie has been asking me to go to Yo Sushi for a hundred years! So this is my first visit to the strange world of food on moving on conveyer belts. We went on a Monday and they do a special deal of £2.50 per plate from a selection of 50. So to start off it was good value at that price. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The food was a mixed bag of lovely and ok. We shared 5 dishes. Firecracker chicken and spicy squid were amazing. Katsu curry was nice. The duck parcels (I forget the real name and the beef something (mini sausages on sticks in sauce) were average. Portion size all were fine for 2.50, but not convinced I would be happy paying 4 plus quid for them. The restaurant itself was just a bit grubby IMO and I was not sure how I felt about the same food going round and round. How long has it been there and who had touched it before me? (Or is that just me, I'm not a big fan buffets either) I have to say I ain't convinced by the whole experience. I don't hate it, I don't love it. It was ok and I will go back, but it won't be top of the list. So 3 stars for sushi in a shopping centre.

I have been going to this restaurant probably 5 times a year for the last 10 years. I first went here with friends and was amazed at the size (huge) of the portions and the superb quality of the food. Hence I kept going back. My last meal in here was a year ago and it hasn't changed since. I believe they changed their chefs. Although you couldn't fault the portion size the meals became almost inedible. Fatty, greasy and basically tasting the same no matter what you ordered. The staff are still their usual happy and attentive and still have a total look of harassment on their faces on a saturday night even though now the place is only half full. The only thing passable which hasn't changed is their Chicken Noodle soup which I'm afraid to say looks and tastes very suspiciously like the packet Chicken Noodle soup I recently purchased from the Chinese cash and carry supermarket in Maryhill. Orchid Lane's soup has a few more chopped up spring onions in it but it is lovely but not enough of a reason to keep going back when i can get the same soup from the Chinese supermarket. I feel sorry for them as this was a great little restaurant and you always had to book, now you don't need to. The toilets are the same as ever, tired but clean and functional, the same as the decor. For the money you'd spend here you'd be better going up the road to the all you can eat Chinese buffet up the road.
