The service they provide is second to none in the retail industry. I was in the store trying to find a last minute dress for my 5yr old's school dance, and ended up finding hidden gems, one after another! Styles that I fell in love with, and hadn't seen anywhere else. You can absolutely see how much care is taken when accepting items to buy or trade, they uphold solid standards, which I really appreciate. The prices are very fair, specially due to the quality they accept and you can tell prices are not marked up unnecessarily. I noticed several customers, much like myself, happen upon the store and making comments on how they'd never known it was there and were thrilled with their finds! I noticed every single customer was always greeted and helped in the most welcoming and sincerest way possible. Hmm it couldn't hurt to take a look! They have a pretty wide selection of Halloween clothes here and luckily for me I found exactly what I needed for cheaper than the price it would take to actually make a costume. Shopping at any Once Upon a Child is dangerous for me because there's always cute stuff to buy and this one was especially the case. This location seems to have a lot of designer wear. I saw toddler dresses from Kate Spade and Hudson jeans. I didn't even know those brands came in toddler size! The one drawback of this location though is that their selection standards don't seem to be as picky as other locations so examine the clothes pretty thoroughly before buying. There were a few outfits that had holes or unwashable stains on them when I looked through the racks.

I'm not exaggerating when I say at least 90% of my wardrobe comes from here. It is where I go to buy outfits for everything: dates, work, travel, my own baby shower :) Every visit feels like someone with good taste went through the racks first. One of my favorite things is that the store is organized by color. Consignment shops can feel overwhelming and disorganized, but here it's easy to browse and actually find what you're looking for. Even better are the people. Emily and Claire have gotten to know my style over the years and pull things they know I'll love. When I ask for an honest opinion, I get one, and it's always genuine. I've been bringing my son in since he was a baby, and he loves it there too :) They remember him, ask about him, and make him feel welcome. After all this time they feel less like store employees and more like friends I get to visit with when I go in. Going to Poor Little Rich Girl is something I genuinely look forward to, never a chore. I have been coming to PLRG since 2017. There have been many times where I felt like their buying…read moredidn't make any sense. For example, I had brought in a beautiful Thierry Mugler blazer with hardly any wear. They denied taking it. I sold it independently and quickly for over 300. Now the latest thing they did, was sell a luxury item to a reseller that commented while they were closed. I then called several times in the morning, exactly when they opened, to be told the item just sold over Instagram. They never used to prioritize Instagram comments over buyers calling into the store. Several times in past years, people would comment on instagram first while they were CLOSED, and I would call in first thing to be sold the item. Then they want to claim this was never a thing lol trying to gaslight me when I had bought many items in the past by phone. To top it off, it was to a reseller lol. They dont care how loyal you've been to them. I've spent so much money over the years but this last incident was the final straw for me. There's better thrift stores around the valley, save yourself the trouble. They don't value long term customers. Edited to add: because of this recent issue that I brought up to them, they were so petty to block me on their Instagram. I never swore at them or anything lol. Avoid this business. Dawn is so incredibly unprofessional and petty to block a customer thats been shopping w them for 9 years. Not a good look at all. Edited yet again as a response to Cat: Cat, that number was not mine any longer as when I came in and was informed of the text received by my old number, I PROFUSELY apologized and updated my phone number with my NEW NUMBER.
