Most items are priced fairly with the exception of luxury designer items. My low rating mostly stems from a lack of quality customer service. This has been consistent with every visit I've made. You're basically ignored from the moment you enter the store until you leave. During my latest visit I stood at the register for a full minute while a female employee, who sat NEXT to the register, stuffed her face blatantly ignoring me. Finally, without even LOOKING in my direction, she said "you ready?" That's wild behavior. I also heard an employee talking badly about a customer very loudly for all to hear. Entitled behavior with lack of care and service. I'm not especially inclined to return.

The associates are supercilious and they are not interested in engaging with the customer whether they are there to shop or to bring things in for consignment. While the few high-end items I brought in were 'accepted' - I found the interaction to be cold and hurried as if the associate had better things to do. Telling customers they don't accept merchandise from Macy's and Dillard's or stores "like that" is not only insulting, but dismissive. It should be better phrased. Example of which, "We accept merchandise from high-end retailers like Saks and Neiman's because our extensive research tells us this is what our customers are seeking." This franchise exists solely because individuals bring in items for consignment which, in turn, enables the store to hire associates to sell and service the customer. The store turns a profit which pays not only the rent, butt the associates and makes the investors very happy. The heart and soul of any business is "Customer Service" and the execution of it.
