This place is unorganized and one of the ladies who works or runs this place is rude and has poor customer service. She claimed to lose my account information with store credit which was well worth $100 (to a single mom that is a lot and I needed it) I gave them a stroller car seat full set, a bunch of Disney character clothes, Harry Potter themed clothes. She told me I had only $10 but I did NOT see any of my items in the store. Do not expect to get credit for your stuff in an organized manner if you go here. Don't go on Saturday because that's when she works there. I could have sold my stuff online and got cash for my items. I wanted to support a woman owned business and it slapped me in the face. They promised to reach out and find my account but will not pick up the phone or have called me since I came by. Poor customer service and care for their clients. read more

I am all about stretching the dollar. I have one toddler and two infants to shop for so every penny counts. What brought me here is a mailer coupon that would save me $5.00 if I spent $25.00 or more in the store. I could not believe how much stuff was crammed in this location for all ages and sizes. This is more than just clothes and shoes. I found just about anything or everything a little one would need. From toys, books, diaper bags, high chairs, bedding and much more. The stuff is quality and priced very reasonable. I have not consigned yet just been a frequent shopper. I am overall very happy and have nothing but great things to say about the location. read more

I love Baby Bloomers, its truly a hidden gem in my eyes. I always go in thinking I will just look to see what's new, and end up leaving with SO many great finds. I love supporting small business owners at any opportunity. They have so many great selections. I've found beautiful pieces for all of my children. I have been here quite a few times and it's always the same experience. Horrible. Not sure why I keep going back ‍. This past trip was the final straw, I walked in and wasn't greeted. I asked if I had credit and would like to cash out. She said , well we will have to mail you a check ." The owner I don't even know her name looked at at the other employee and said, " I don't know why everybody wants to cash out today? " I said excuse me I'm standing here . She looked over and gave me a dirty look. I knew she didn't care about customer service so it was pointless to even go off on her. I've been enjoying the company of a new baby the past few days and if things keep going well, also for the next 17.98 years or so. No, I've not kidnapped a baby, silly, I've had one of my own. Who knew how much stuff these things needed. Insider tip, 6 or 7 outfits will last you about 1.5 days of diaper changes when *he* likes to pee, what seems, only during diaper changes and usually on himself or the person changing him. Anywho, this spot seems a tad over priced for a second hand kids store, and the new born boys selection was about a half a racks worth. Onesies and sleepers priced at what seemed to be about 75% of their new price, I'll take my chances at Ross, T-J Maxx or Old Navy and bring home new. We ended up getting a sleeper, mostly because we needed a couple more items of clothes for the kid and well, we were here and it was cute on him. I have to update my review. I love love baby bloomers!!! You can find some awesome finds for a fraction of the price! I have already found two items: one is $60 retail and the other is $50 retail. I got them for under $15 each and they were in good condition. I've been to two other consignment/used stores throughout the valley and the prices are higher, about 50-60% of retail. To me, thats a little above what I'm willing to spend for a used consignment store, but at Baby Bloomers - you just got to look. The employees are always very friendly too. The last time I visited, they were having a summer sale - $1/piece or something like that. read more

I'm really only doing this to let the owner know something that can be drastically changed and to honestly, whole-heartedly help your business I was looking forward to going to this store with my mother to look at maternity clothes, but the second I walked in, I smelt, breathed in, and just could almost feel the chemical stench in the room. From knowing and researching a bit of wholistic health, and especially knowing how critical of a time it is to stay away from chemicals when you're pregnant, I had to really immediately leave. I felt like it was getting on me, and I knew would be on the clothes. I bet this store is awesome, and, obviously this isn't about the store itself or the people there or the clothes. Owner of baby bloomers, I just wanted to let you know that for the safety of to-be moms that I walked out because of the chemical smell and the intensity of it. Please take it down a notch! I stopped by today for the first time because I'm on the hunt for some maternity clothes. There doesn't seem to be a lot of stores near downtown or central Phoenix. The way the store was advertised, I thought they'd have a larger maternity section. It's really just two small racks. On the upside I did find a pair of black capris slacks that'll be great for work & they were really affordable ($9). They had a lot of children's clothes & toys so I'll for sure be back once I know my baby's gender. read more

Not sure if they went out of business, or were just lazy or late in opening, but we made special arrangements to have my pregnant wife stop by here today and were not so pleased to find the business closed! read more

Seems like they already lost their spirit. When you walk in, the owner doesn't look like she loves her job, but is an average hired employee. That after only one year of owning the business. One of the owner left and it seems she carried the spirit. They don't care about marketing. Their flyers that are send per e-mail are unfinished templates, have no appeal. They have a huge competitor down the street and I have found myself there more and more and started consigning there. There FB page gets barely frequent attention. An occasional photo gets posted. I hope they pick it up and blow some fire in the business. The concept is great, the people that own/work the business can make it fantastic. read more

Love this store! -Not too much merchandise, you have a lot to sift through and it's well organized but you don't feel like you are drowning in stuff. -Friendly staff, helpful for sure. We found a baby swing priced at $40 that the owner gave us for $15 because it appeared to be broken. Got it home and after 30 minutes of my husband tinkering with it we had a working swing for $15! -Great communication... I've been on the request list for certain items in the past and they've been great about calling when an item might fit my request -No attitudes or stuffy crowds here. This is a great consignment store. They are VERY friendly, always greet you as you come in and they have a great selection of things for sale at great prices. Glares the ENTIRE TIME I browsed the place from the older larger Hispanic woman. The other review was clearly written by the owner and not someone who has actual experience shopping there. Found a lot of treasures at this gently used resale baby store with great prices! We got over 25 Bumgenius diapers with plenty of inserts that also came with a diaper pale, bidet and pale liners for only $50! The staff was knowledgeable and helpful in our decision process. I have gone here several times for clothes and toys for my two girls. The store is clean and well organized with very reasonable prices. I have found cute things every time I stop in and always feel as though I have gotten a great deal. The staff are always very friendly and kind, but yesterday went beyond and they have gotten a loyal customer who will spread the word to all of my friends with kids! In my rush to get to the Children's Museum I managed to forget to put shoes on my 1 year old (who does that?!). I'd stopped at another shop a few minutes before they closed and they were unwilling to let me get what I needed to avoid a disaster of an outing. As I drove past the shop I saw they still had toys out and hoped they'd allow me in (even though at this point it was past closing time on a Friday). They were so kind and I was able to find what I needed (and a couple of other things). I don't know how big of a deal this was to the people there but it was MAJOR for my girls and me. read more

Not impressive at all. I went in hoping to look for baby gear and there was not much merchandise. I am not a big fan of kid to kid or hissy fits but I would chose those stores over this place. I put my son in the kids area and the rug reeked of old gym socks and as I walked around I realized the entire store had a stench. Toys were in bad condition and I didn't even take a look at clothes because it couldn't handle the smell. I am a second time mom and have been on a budget since my first child so I know quality and a bargain this place has neither. I gave two stars because a few of the toys out front were worth looking at but that's it. read more

The store is closed 1/2 the time when it is supposed to be open, this happened twice in 2 weeks! When I did manage to find it open it is very similar to a goodwill store. Sure, there are deals when you go there as a buyer but I went there to sell some of my items and had a different experience. As a buyer, I never dealt with the staff nor the owner; I just found a few deals, paid for them and left. As a seller, I had the worst experience, especially dealing with the staff. I brought in some items to sell on consignment on a Saturday. Apparently, the same woman works there only on Saturday, I think her name is Suzie or Stacy, and she was so unfriendly. I wasn't sure what was wrong with her and left thinking that maybe she was having a bad day. After a few weeks, I went to the store to see if any of my items sold. The owner happened to be working and she was so short with me. No smile, no hello, just told me my credit balance. I asked for cash instead of store credit and felt like she strongly disliked my request. I can see now why her other employees are so miserable. I am never going to shop or sell my items there ever again. Especially now that I know how sellers are treated. Take your business somewhere else. Consignment store. My daughter had a bunch of clothes that she never wore and outgrown. We took it to Baby Bloomers to "sell." They took a sufficient amount - you have to really ask what they are looking for for that season for them to take it. Got a decent amount back - they do a 50% store credit or cash back. Their items are reasonably priced too. I'm pleased with this store and will continue bringing my daughter's gently used clothes here. read more
