Went to Carter's with my 4 kids 6 and under on a Saturday morning after breakfast out. When we…read morefirst arrived, they weren't open yet so we bided time at Target. By the time we got to Carter's, my kids had already endured a sit-down breakfast and an hour shopping at Target. Needless to say, I was THAT mom with the 4 stir-crazy kids running around. Especially my 15 month old. I tried to hold him at first but he proved too heavy to try to carry and shop. And of course, as soon as I set him down he got busy pulling shirts off shelves and running about. Oh and did I mention he was BAREFOOT because he lost one of his shoes in Target?? ‍ I looked like a crazy mom! All this being said, the two lovely women working that day were SO a kind and understanding. Bonnie was the name of the woman who helped me find some of the things I needed and checked me out. I didn't get the name of the other worker but she was equally as wonderful, cleaning up after our craziness, answering my dumb questions about where certain things were located (even though I had already walked by them 50x) and being kind and encouraging the whole time. I'm sure it was a relief to see us walk out the door but the two of them never even let on that we were a bother. I felt very welcome and understood. Thank you for ensuring that what would have been a disasterous shopping trip was actually fun and productive!! We got everything we needed amidst the chaos. And a couple days later, when I went back (ALONE) to exchange some sizes and return one thing, it was an absolute breeze! I didn't even have a paper receipt because I chose to have it emailed to me but Bonnie looked up my purchase history, easily switched out the couple of size exchanges and then put the one returned item straight back on my card. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!

I tried on a few outfits before purchasing anything. Surprisingly, the dressing room was dirty. There were used tissues/napkins on the wooden seat and floor. I almost did not want to touch anything that is the level of uncleanliness that was going on in there. I tried on my outfits and placed what I did not want in the restocking area. Since one of the dresses was too big, I went to the rack to look for the smaller size. I never looked at the dress to inspect it for damages etc., I only looked at the size. I purchased this item for an upcoming vacation, so I did not remove the items from the bags until about three weeks later while I was packing. At that time, I observed that not only was the slit in the back ripped straight up the seam, but the tag appeared crumbled almost like someone had worn and returned it. I tried calling the store, but they do not have a phone. I called Zara's customer service and the mall to determine if they had a direct number. The bottom line is that Zara stores cannot be contacted directly. I knew that the item was still eligible for return, but I still wanted to speak to someone about it. Thankfully, I returned the item without a problem, but not being able to reach someone locally was frustrating. If I purchase in store again, I will be sure to fully inspect all items before purchasing.

This last visit we were buying a suit for our 2 year old. I never looked at a price tag and never flinched about swiping my CC for $220 that will get worn maybe twice.
