I've lived by The cheese course for over ten years now and I have never felt satisfied with the food. It gets the job done and fills you up. I have never sat and ate and thought to myself, this was really good. I usually order sandwiches or the salads... I think there is better options on the menu!! read more

The food is so delightful anything u ores on the menu is great. Service is great. People are friendly!

Fresh and delicious! A variety of cheeses and food prepared with cheese, we were actually a little intimidated. However, upon a recommendation from a friend, my son and I came to enjoy a post-church lunch. A large bottle of cold water was taken to our table and our orders were taken quickly. It is a small restaurant but yet not too crowded. A mild melodic, French style music serenades you in the background. It's certainly appealing to the eye. I enjoyed the water as a beverage and my son ordered a pink lemonade. You should be forewarned that it is bottle and with that means price per bottle. But I will say it's bubbly and satisfying, not too sweet nor bitter. He ordered a croissant with Nutella and jam on the side. He wasn't a fan of the jam, but loved the Nutella and croissant. Then he enjoyed macaroni and cheese which i could only describe as a blend of cheeses, that were none over-powering, yet altogether cheesy and scrumptious. Warning: the bowl is HOT! It comes with a side of warm potato chips, which were a wonderful compliment. I had an avocado stuff salad, which was delish! An entire avocado, stuffed full of tuna salad on a luscious bed of greens. I mean, what more can you ask for? It was wonderful. read more

I recently ordered take-out for my usual order, #7s. However, when I arrived to pick up the order was incomplete so we had to wait for it to be made. The sandwich was not at all like it used to be. It was poorly made with stale bread and unripe tomatoes. Very disappointed and most likely won't be coming back. read more

Always a favorite and consistently delicious. Decided on delivery and it's as good at home as it is in the place. Been a huge fan of the southwest chicken sandwich and the salads. Breakfasts are good there too. They expanded a few years ago and they have outdoors seating. Happy hours are awesome as well for delicious wines and cheeses. It's popular and busy so be patient. It's worth it. read more

We have eaten multiple times at their Weston store, as well as at the Plantation store, but this time was a huge disappointment. For example, we ordered for delivery a salad and paid extra for an avocado side. The lettuce was wilted, the avocado had black splotches throughout and the grapes were mushy - very unappealing. Unacceptable for any restaurant but inexcusable for an upscale gourmet eatery. We used to love this place, but will not be returning. read more

Great restaurant, but sometimes need more attention the waiters take to long to serve you, but everything good

Lately I been going in the morning and the service is amazing. What I love about this location is how simple it is to pay and how fast the order gets to me. The environment is enjoyable. read more

Been going to Cheese Course since it opened. Food is always delicious. Although in recent years has become much too overpriced for what they serve. The biggest complaint is each and every visit the service declines. This visit, we had to prompt the staff to seat us, give us a menu, order food and then get a check. When I mentioned this to the server(?) his answer was "sounds cool". It seems Cheese Course is trying to become something they are not. They were great when they were a tasty high end sandwich shop and delicious comfort food. Now they think they are a swanky Las Olas type restaurant, which comes across as an overpriced "wannabe" read more

I love the cheese course I've been coming here for years. Yesterday morning they were quite empty and we couldn't get anybody to take our order!!! When we finally got their attention I ordered a Spanish omelette. It did not taste like a Spanish omelette it was a GIANT KNISH. They should rename the dish KNISH OMELET. I called the server and told her it didn't taste like a Spanish omelette it tasted like a knish. She didn't know what that was and I told her I could not eat it. They took the meal off our bill. I think I'll stick to salads and sandwiches from now on. read more

Really good food here. The staff is mostly very friendly, but there should be a little more initial engagement when you walk in and ask for a table. Often they shrug you off and there's really no host or hostess or anyone to help you. But once you get past that and find yourself a table, you will be very happy with the food and drinks! read more

Great food but HORRIBLE service. I used to love this place and, to be fair, the food is still excellent. However, service has really degraded. Today, I placed an order for takeout and was told 25 minutes. I arrived after 30 minutes and was told it wasn't ready. Finally, after 40 minutes and speaking to a manager, we got our order. Do you want to know what we ordered? Two loaves of bread and 1/2 pound of sliced ham. Now, you might say (and I suspect management may reply to this with a similar message) that this was a one-time issue or they were overly busy today. However, this has been the case every time I've visited in the past 2 years. You might say, why do you keep going? Well, the food is actually quite good. I figured placing an order for two pieces of bread and $15 worth of sliced ham with a 30 minute lead time would be sufficient and give me a buffer, but I was wrong. I've given this place many second chances and hope this review leads to management actually implementing some changes. read more

Met up with a friend here to catch up on old times. The cheese was great - we got one of the pre-built platters. It was a great place for conversation: loud enough to have a private conversation but quiet enough to hear each other. Service was okay, though we had to find our waiter multiple times (but that may have been due to short staffing more than anything else). read more

Great spot for happy hour or breakfast. I am sure lunch is great too. I enjoy coming with my with, ordering wine and cheese dish. The bread here is fantastic. Gives you a European vibe. read more

A very good eclectic selection of cheeses, wines and champagnes amingst ither items....a perfect place for any cheese lover. Although I didn't have wine on that day I really enjoyed the cheeseboard of three French cheeses accompanied by fantastic pesto and a fig preserve. The bread could have been a little fresher though...the first basket tasted like a day- old loaf. Prices are what you would expect given the location . Outdoor seating is available. Service was ok...but a little slow given we were sitting outside and nit easily visible to the servers. But we were in no rush and it was nice just to watch people and Teslas go by. read more

I came here for the BOGO pitcher of red sangria. Very delicious and a good price for the bogo. I sat outside with friends; nice view of the area and the people and cars passing by. I've eaten here since this was a small cheese sandwich shop. Seen it expanding throughout the years and always enjoyed the food and ambiance but at some point it lost its appeal and quality. Food is no longer great and service is average at best. I hope it gets better by returning to quality food read more

I have been a customer/ diner since they opened the first location by me in Weston. The menu has pretty much been the same which is perfect for me since I pretty much always get the French field greens salad with chicken and it never disappoints. I have also bought cheese to take home, they have the best Prima Donna cheese and their catering is great from the sandwich platters to the cheese platters. read more

This place is great, but it's tiny so you'll be lucky to snag a seat, much less a table on a busy day! Either way, I'm a huge fan. Anything with cheese is a winner for me so in a place like the CHEESE COURSE you can expect nothing less than amazing. My only gripe is of course the table seating as mentioned above but service and quality is superb and their breakfast/brunch menu looks pretty darn amazing so I'm definitely due for another visit! read more

Fresh sandwiches with great cheese. I recommend the turkey with chutney and smoked Gouda on a French baguette.

Look no futher...... this little Gem is worth every penny! Family members and I recently found this quaint little restaurant situated in the Weston area of Florida. Prepping for our cruise we thought we would give The Cheese Course a try. We were quite taken back as to how great the food tasted. Needless to say, our experience was quite pleasant. Fabulous food, I mean what's not to love about cheese and charcuterie? As we the French like to say! "C'est Incroyable! Oh, and the fabulous fondu and soups! Our waiter Sean was very friendly and greeted us with a very warm smile. Always prompt and eager to serve, he made sure that the service and food was satisfactory. He tended to my families need as any 5 star establishment would. Thank you Sean! Upon completion of the meal I requested to then speak to the manager to convey my family's wonderful experience. In no time, out came a beautiful young lady named Alejandra. She presented herself with the utmost professionalism. At that very moment, I couldn't help but think how blessed and fortunate this establishment was in hiring such a kind hearted woman. Alejandra, took time out of her busy schedule to come and talk us. (Let me simply say the restaurant was packed!) It's easy to see as to why she's is in the service industry. Many could learn a great deal from her stellar wisdom and knowledge. Thank you Alejandra, hopefully you and your family will one day get a chance to visit our part of the world in Vancouver, Canada! God Bless, Shawn Emond read more

We had a wonderful lunch here and it was a first for us since they expanded their space. The decor was clean and modern in style with a heavy splash of French Bistro. The marble tabletops, zinc and wood accents were lively and contrasted with the many plants and greenery. The hostess seated us immediately. The server who took our order along with the servers who brought out our food were all eager to please. It was nice to see the plates are expedited rather than sitting until the assigned server is free. The place had pretty constant seatings during our visit. The chicken salad on field greens was superb and the vinaigrette had just a touch of Dijon, which worked well with the sweetness of the red grapes. Tomato bisque was as good as I have ever had! Really delish. Hubby had the prosciutto on a baguette with tomatoes and pesto. Delicious with the wonderful delicate French style portions...thin slices of high quality product on a small, crusty baguette. He was in heaven. For dessert we opted to take 2 cupcakes to go...red velvet and carrot. Both were yummy, and packed securely, too, for the ride home. Unfortunately, I was really interested in the avocado stuffed with chicken salad over greens but they were out of avocados. Also they were out of chocolate cupcakes. On a Saturday at 2pm - they need to increase their prep to last over a weekend, no? Anyway, we thought all is was very, very nice. Will definitely return! read more

Loved it. The last time I had something this good, I was in Napa. I had the sandwich with prosciutto, avocado and bacon (forgot the number). My husband had one with Serrano ham. The cheese on the sandwich was, of course, amazing! In addition, we had al cheese sampling of brie and parmesano which came with some candied walnuts. Oh my. This was shared over a bottle of pinot noir and seated outside on a glorious South Florida day. I wish the place itself was more spacious and had more seating outside. I also wish they offered table service. It would also help cut down their (now long) counter line. Instead, you have to order, wait and then take it to your table. If you can score a table, that is. I cannot wait to go back! Is it time yet? read more

The food was good but I'm leaving three stars because of several issues we had. I met two friends here to kick off a birthday celebration for one of them. It was around 11am on a Saturday. One of my friends got stuck in a downpour and was running a little late. When the waiter came around we told him we would order once she arrived. She arrives about 10 minutes later and we start chatting. They weren't busy and we were seated right in front of the counter so I'm sure he saw her arrive but it took another 15 minutes for him to come back around for our order. We ordered two croissant sandwiches and a scrambled egg bowl. I ordered the Fresh Herb Omelet Croissant that was supposed to have gruyere, avocado, roasted red peppers and rosemary aioli. A few minutes later our waiter returned and said they only had one croissant left. My friend changed hers to baguette. Several minutes later he returns and puts down both of their orders, looks at the remaining one in his hand and ask me what I ordered. I tell him and says this isn't yours. It was a croissant but I didn't get a chance to see what was on it. Another 10 minutes pass and he returns with another croissant sandwich, places it in front of me and walks away. I look at it and it's definitely not what I ordered. It had scrambled egg and ham. No avocado or aioli. At this point my friends are almost finished eating and I wasn't sending it back. It was tasty but not what I really wanted that morning. We suspect the first one actually was my original order and he was confused. We were also curious as to how the first sandwich was a croissant and the second was also when he said they only had one left. The restaurant is in a very nice location and was very nicely decorated inside so I would go back if I was in the area but I was disappointed on how the meal went that morning. read more

I love coming here. The food is great and the service is just as amazing. We always look for Felipe when going to cheese course and we're never let down. Ive been to the weston location multiple times. Ive encounter long wait and the place is not even busy. Customer service is terrible. Ive had to cancel my order twice because my orders seem to not appear. When asked no one gives any details and easily wait an hour for your order.
