Fresh and delicious! A variety of cheeses and food prepared with cheese, we were actually a little intimidated. However, upon a recommendation from a friend, my son and I came to enjoy a post-church lunch. A large bottle of cold water was taken to our table and our orders were taken quickly. It is a small restaurant but yet not too crowded. A mild melodic, French style music serenades you in the background. It's certainly appealing to the eye. I enjoyed the water as a beverage and my son ordered a pink lemonade. You should be forewarned that it is bottle and with that means price per bottle. But I will say it's bubbly and satisfying, not too sweet nor bitter. He ordered a croissant with Nutella and jam on the side. He wasn't a fan of the jam, but loved the Nutella and croissant. Then he enjoyed macaroni and cheese which i could only describe as a blend of cheeses, that were none over-powering, yet altogether cheesy and scrumptious. Warning: the bowl is HOT! It comes with a side of warm potato chips, which were a wonderful compliment. I had an avocado stuff salad, which was delish! We have eaten multiple times at their Weston store, as well as at the Plantation store, but this time was a huge disappointment. For example, we ordered for delivery a salad and paid extra for an avocado side. The lettuce was wilted, the avocado had black splotches throughout and the grapes were mushy - very unappealing. I love the cheese course I've been coming here for years. Yesterday morning they were quite empty and we couldn't get anybody to take our order!!! When we finally got their attention I ordered a Spanish omelette. It did not taste like a Spanish omelette it was a GIANT KNISH. They should rename the dish KNISH OMELET. I called the server and told her it didn't taste like a Spanish omelette it tasted like a knish. She didn't know what that was and I told her I could not eat it. They took the meal off our bill. Although I didn't have wine on that day I really enjoyed the cheeseboard of three French cheeses accompanied by fantastic pesto and a fig preserve. The bread could have been a little fresher though...the first basket tasted like a day- old loaf. Prices are what you would expect given the location . Outdoor seating is available. Great food but HORRIBLE service. I used to love this place and, to be fair, the food is still excellent. However, service has really degraded. Today, I placed an order for takeout and was told 25 minutes. I arrived after 30 minutes and was told it wasn't ready. Finally, after 40 minutes and speaking to a manager, we got our order. Do you want to know what we ordered? Two loaves of bread and 1/2 pound of sliced ham. Now, you might say (and I suspect management may reply to this with a similar message) that this was a one-time issue or they were overly busy today. However, this has been the case every time I've visited in the past 2 years. You might say, why do you keep going? Well, the food is actually quite good. I figured placing an order for two pieces of bread and $15 worth of sliced ham with a 30 minute lead time would be sufficient and give me a buffer, but I was wrong. I've given this place many second chances and hope this review leads to management actually implementing some changes. read more

The menu has pretty much been the same which is perfect for me since I pretty much always get the French field greens salad with chicken and it never disappoints. He remembers our orders of the top of his head, has excellent customer service, and is constantly checking up on us to make sure our experience is lovely. Prepping for our cruise we thought we would give The Cheese Course a try. We were quite taken back as to how great the food tasted. Needless to say, our experience was quite pleasant. Fabulous food, I mean what's not to love about cheese and charcuterie? As we the French like to say! "C'est Incroyable! Oh, and the fabulous fondu and soups! Our waiter Sean was very friendly and greeted us with a very warm smile. Always prompt and eager to serve, he made sure that the service and food was satisfactory. He tended to my families need as any 5 star establishment would. Thank you Sean! Upon completion of the meal I requested to then speak to the manager to convey my family's wonderful experience. In no time, out came a beautiful young lady named Alejandra. She presented herself with the utmost professionalism. At that very moment, I couldn't help but think how blessed and fortunate this establishment was in hiring such a kind hearted woman. Alejandra, took time out of her busy schedule to come and talk us. We had a wonderful lunch here and it was a first for us since they expanded their space. The decor was clean and modern in style with a heavy splash of French Bistro. The marble tabletops, zinc and wood accents were lively and contrasted with the many plants and greenery. The hostess seated us immediately. The server who took our order along with the servers who brought out our food were all eager to please. It was nice to see the plates are expedited rather than sitting until the assigned server is free. The place had pretty constant seatings during our visit. The chicken salad on field greens was superb and the vinaigrette had just a touch of Dijon, which worked well with the sweetness of the red grapes. Tomato bisque was as good as I have ever had! Really delish. Hubby had the prosciutto on a baguette with tomatoes and pesto. Delicious with the wonderful delicate French style portions...thin slices of high quality product on a small, crusty baguette. He was in heaven. For dessert we opted to take 2 cupcakes to go...red velvet and carrot. Both were yummy, and packed securely, too, for the ride home. As someone who has been a life-time customer, I can say without a doubt this place has gone downhill over the past 5 years. Unsure if it is new management or the expansion of the Weston branch, but it is being run in such a poor manner. The food has gotten ghastly expensive and the high school/college employees they have working at the Weston branch make the company look so unprofessional. I just received my last order for my life. We had ordered TWO full roast beef sandwiches, each costing almost $20. When we got our food, there were THREE, THINLY SLICED roast beef in each sandwich! THREE? For almost $20? The food was good but I'm leaving three stars because of several issues we had. I met two friends here to kick off a birthday celebration for one of them. It was around 11am on a Saturday. One of my friends got stuck in a downpour and was running a little late. When the waiter came around we told him we would order once she arrived. She arrives about 10 minutes later and we start chatting. They weren't busy and we were seated right in front of the counter so I'm sure he saw her arrive but it took another 15 minutes for him to come back around for our order. We ordered two croissant sandwiches and a scrambled egg bowl. I ordered the Fresh Herb Omelet Croissant that was supposed to have gruyere, avocado, roasted red peppers and rosemary aioli. A few minutes later our waiter returned and said they only had one croissant left. My friend changed hers to baguette. Several minutes later he returns and puts down both of their orders, looks at the remaining one in his hand and ask me what I ordered. I tell him and says this isn't yours. It was a croissant but I didn't get a chance to see what was on it. Another 10 minutes pass and he returns with another croissant sandwich, places it in front of me and walks away. I look at it and it's definitely not what I ordered. It had scrambled egg and ham. No avocado or aioli. At this point my friends are almost finished eating and I wasn't sending it back. It was tasty but not what I really wanted that morning. We suspect the first one actually was my original order and he was confused. We were also curious as to how the first sandwich was a croissant and the second was also when he said they only had one left. The restaurant is in a very nice location and was very nicely decorated inside so I would go back if I was in the area but I was disappointed on how the meal went that morning. read more

Felt like I was at a lovely cafe in France. Everything about this place is relaxed, organic and laidback. We had a nice variety of cheeses on a board suggested by our friendly waitress. It was delish. Also had the tomato soup and shared a large sandwich. Everything was tasty and the portions were plenty. Finished our lunch with a capuchino. This place is a joke... First of all, the place looks like it's only halfway ready to receive customers. They are still looking for a whole lot of staff... The waitress Tathianna was extremely rude, and it is not the first time, as we learned from the next door restaurant customers where we went to get dessert since the food was so bad. As soon as I sat down I remember why I don't like this place. The food is meh and the service is bad. There's so many other places around, don't bother. Rude hostesses, pushy servers who leave you waiting. Bad, bad, bad I won't be back. The cups are filthy and the utensils still had pieces of spinach and cheese stuck on them, I saw a waitress cleaning the cups with the same rag as the tables and utensils. The restrooms are disgusting and NEVER get cleaned, the mirrors are always stained and there's toilet paper all over the floors, there is never soap which leads me to believe the staff isn't clean either.
