The service was fantastic, and the restaurant is actually owned by one of my family's old classmates. It felt like I was having dinner at one of my aunt's places. This restaurant is an excellent choice for an area with limited dining options. Our food arrived quickly, even though there were over 15 of us there for a family gathering. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped by on a road trip, good food and service! Catfish was excellent, fried chicken was good too!

What a great place to eat and hang out with friends! One side is a nice Resturant and the other is a bar. The bar reminds me of Cheers. I am from out of state and met my friend here for dinner.. He told me this is the local hang out. He recommended the Chateau burger and it's mouthwatering just thinking about it now. I also had German fries and some cocktails. Great place to stop in and have a couple drinks with friends or eat a wonderful meal! I hear they have great steaks!

Kaetlyn was amazing! I told here I was bringing a few people over 30 min. before closing and she was overwhelmingly surprised by the 22 people I brought in...on a Wednesday eve. What a fun environment, great food/drinks, amazing people in Mariah Hill, IN. We will gladly recommended next year's group to visit. #BeSureToAskForTheJP

Awesome bar. Went there late on a Thursday evening when I was passing through town and they were totally chill. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Went there with my wife's work. Ordered the Ruben and beer battered fries. One of the best Ruben's I've ever had! Great cozy restaurant too!

Good in a pinch. Boys loved food bar. Desserts are homemade. Lighting is questionable. Servers are delightful. Portions are big.

Tried to stop here at noon on a Saturday. Not open. Too bad. Looked pretty good. A bit of a drive off of the interstate.

Poor service, no silverware, greasy food. Not worth getting off the highway though the standard does seem to be quite low around here

Kitschy, yes, but despite that the food is genuinely spectacular…read more Bratwurst was super flavorful and cooked perfectly with a caramelized outside, a good snap, and a moist inside. The pretzel bun was heated appropriately and had the right amount of flavor. The optional spicy mustard is really powerful. My only possible complaint would be that the spatzle were a bit on the soggy side, perhaps overcooked. That said, the spatzle also come with an incredible sauerbraten gravy. My only regret, really, is not having had dessert.

Lots of nostalgia here for me, as my family always loved to make the hour-ish trek here when I was…read morea kid...and I feel like it's held up well to those memories after a recent visit when I was in the area. Atmosphere is fun, it really embraces the German decor (saw a review or too calling it kitschy, in a good way, which I think is a fair description). Service is friendly and attentive (and in the costumed German garb to keep with the themes). Lots of classic German dishes (several schnitzel varieties, brats, spatzel, etc.). I won't say anything I've had over the years blows me away, but haven't had a bad choice either. The Wiener schnitzel I had most recently was tender and tasty, with a perfectly fried batter, and the German fries were nicely crisped on the exterior and beautifully seasoned. Good beer selection (including some brewed for the restaurant), reasonable wine list...love that you can go all out and have your beer in the classic giant boot! Small gift shop as well, some souvenir items as well as some candies and food options.
