This gem was quiet, clean, beautifully decorated and kept, and the owner was kind enough to call me the day before I arrived to find out what kind of food I prefer she stock in the fridge! Also, plenty of room for two if you'd like to spend a little downtime in your room relaxing, but close enough to the area sights and restaurants to see and do what you came to do. I couldn't have enjoyed my stay more (maybe a little less humidity? ;)) and will definitely be back!

The proprietors, Cindy and Lou, were wonder, warm and friendly hosts. They made us feel right at home. The bed and breakfast was clean and tastefully decorated. I generally prefer a less homey feel, but the Rose Garden was quite nice. Flowers adorned the entrance and spilled over into a beautiful backyard garden, giving the place a lovely, homey feel. As for breakfast, the breakfast was delicious. It was delicious with just the right balance of decadence and moderation. The first morning we had blueberry waffles, cooked to absolute perfection, with grilled pineapple and a small side of scramble eggs. Lou has a passion for cooking and it is shows through in the breakfast. As for the bed, the bed was, unfortunately, the most uncomfortable I have slept on in recent memory. We stayed in the English Rose Room. We had a roomy king-sized bed, but I had to move to the day bed to sleep because the bed was just too uncomfortable. It was too hard, yet not quite supportive. I am a sensitive sleeper and have a great bed at home, so everyone may not have this experience. I did, however. We found that the problem could be solved by sleeping on top of the blankets for an added level of comfort. I think a feather bed or a new mattress would make this the perfect B&B in Rochester. If you can sleep on a hard, inner-spring mattress, you will absolutely love this place.

The hotel has been in his family close to 104 years and under Pat's management for 50 plus years! Pat is accommodating and a great bar tender! The waitress was right on top of providing excellent service and had a great sense of humor! Some folks I know have been under the impression that the American Hotel of Lima was permanently closed, but be assured they are not. The space is beautiful, with a breathtaking bridal suite and a nice groom's room, separate areas for cocktail hour and formal reception, plenty of parking, pretty spaces indoors and out for photos, and most of all, incredibly helpful staff. The owner, Vicki, went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly, from coordinating with other vendors prior to and during the event, to allowing us to change our bar package multiple times... Vicki even created the gorgeous cake topper in the photo for my sister on the day of her wedding when we realized we didn't have one. Two of Vicki's family members (daughter Nicole and I think daughter in law?) bartended during our event and did a great job. I don't think we made a single request throughout this entire process that Willow Creek said "no" to. They also have an amazing supply of decorations (vases, candles, easels, archways, table numbers, etc.) that you have access to which is a huge money and stress saver! After our event, we didn't need to lift a finger: all of our decorations and belongings were carefully packed up and we just picked them up and were good to go! We are so grateful to have discovered Willow Creek and I highly recommend you host your event there!

The table and chairs were great quality. I just loved the views that it had of the farm. You could see water, animals, and more. The area was clean and bathrooms were easy access. Even when our AV vendor was unable to accommodate our wedding on short notice, the team at Balcony Point was able to make things work by providing their own in-house equipment, which was a lifesaver. The facilities were extremely clean and well-maintained and I received many questions from our guests on how they can get a hold of the venue for their own future plans.
