Very professional, friendly and outgoing, Lisa knew exactly what we were looking for! Choosing what lighting to go with, colors, and even suggesting the big "love letters," everything was perfect. The "love letters" by the way...HUGE hit with everyone! So fun! We didn't go with the photo booth, but everyone was taking pictures by the letters! It was great! We loved the online site that we used to put our song choices in, it was so helpful. Even had a countdown to our big event! My husband and I are so glad that we went with Showcase Sound. Extremely disappointing wedding DJ experience…read more The venue, food, and wedding itself were wonderful. Unfortunately, the DJ was the biggest disappointment of the night. The couple considered the DJ extremely important and actually booked the DJ service before booking their venue. They initially met the company through a wedding expo and were very impressed by the DJ/salesperson they met there. Unfortunately, the DJ who ultimately worked their wedding was someone completely different. The experience honestly felt like a bait-and-switch. The ceremony music was barely audible, including the bride's entrance. At the reception, the DJ made virtually no effort to create energy, interact with guests, or get people onto the dance floor. The dance floor remained almost completely empty. The moment that says it all: I asked the DJ to play "Never Been to Spain" by Three Dog Night because my husband and I had practiced a special dance to it. She told me it wasn't on her list and declined the request. I became emotional because this was something special we had planned for the wedding. Eventually, after someone else intervened, she played the song--and the dance floor immediately filled. I had five different guests come up to me afterward and tell me how much they loved the song. It was obvious people wanted to dance; the DJ simply wasn't reading the room. Requests from other guests, including the kids, were also delayed or denied. The groom reportedly had a request denied as well. The DJ's scheduled end time was 10:00 p.m. The bride and groom had fully intended to pay for additional hours, but after the experience that night, they decided it simply wasn't worth it. Instead, they left their own reception and went elsewhere. Within minutes, the reception essentially emptied out. I understand the couple didn't complete the company's formal online song list, although they did communicate their preferences by email. But a wedding DJ's job is much more than pressing play. It's reading the room, creating energy, handling requests, making announcements, and helping make the night memorable. Unfortunately, this DJ failed to do those things, and there was no follow-up afterward from either the DJ or company. For a couple who cared deeply about their music and were prepared to pay for additional DJ time, this was an incredibly disappointing experience.

We used them for dj, videography…read moreand limo service.. when I called to ask to change a song david told me I couldn't because I'm not the one that actually paid him but I was the bride and he was paid by a family member who was okay with me calling and i wanted to change the song one of us was walking down the aisle to but I couldnt because Im not the one who paid... Then the video we got first off almost waited a year and a half to get.. and the words congratulations were spelled wrong.. I wanted unedited it was completely edited because he said I looked sick and I didn't want a video like that. Mind you the whole time never sick and I had great photos from another company. The videographer was trying to take a video of my brother changing like as in taking clothes off in the bathroom. THEN when we were there at the wedding we requested songs he refused. THEN when the party bus was supposed to pick us up at 10 they didn't get there until 1230 the place we were at closed so we had to wait outside then the driver was RUDE to us as if we inconvenienced him. I also asked david E to redo my video because it was horrible he said he couldnt because he didn't have time and the footage was lost anyways. Maybe if he wasn't hitting on my grandmother the whole time he could have done a better job. I would NEVER recommend his services for anything he was absolutely horrible.

During dinner the music was at the perfect level so people could enjoy the music, but it wasn't to loud so you had to yell across the table to talk to someone. He was also very good at incorporating the music we wanted played along with music he knew would work for getting everyone up and dancing on the floor. We also decided to use the photo booth from them and everyone loved it we quickly learned that if we couldn't find someone dancing they were using the photo booth. This is what he does for a living and is very good at making sure you feel comfortable about what is going to happen the day of your wedding music wise.
