This place is awesome!! We will be coming back not just for the food but because of the service as well. From the cashier to the waiter to the busser, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. I ordered the jumbo shrimp basket and my wife had the grilled fish tacos. Both dishes were great, especially the tacos. Also, having no alcohol license, they offered beer and frozen margaritas on the house! Very good overall experience. read more

I've been back 2 times since my first visit and it was a lot better. Tried the jumbo shrimp basket and it was really good. The shrimp were huge and cooked just right. They do cook your food to order when you go through the drive-thru (like they should). The only problem is the steaming hot food comes right out of the fryer and into your to-go box, so the fries get really soggy. On my second visit I would give them 4 stars. I just don't like the fries. I tried them again for a 3rd time and now I'll give them 5 stars because they let you substitute fries for another side. They were more than happy to substitute red beans and rice for one meal and extra hush puppies for another. Awesome! Now I'll probably eat here pretty often. read more

Well shiver me timbers. I believe I just had the best fried catfish that I have ever had, and I have had a lot in my 70 years. I read some good reviews on "The Catch" and decided to check it out. My wife ordered the fried shrimp (which she always does). The food is hot, fresh and plentiful. The prices are fair and the service is excellent. I asked my wife how she rated the shrimp and she gave it a 9 out of 10. She has never had a 10. I have to rate the catfish that high also. It is more like catfish strips, not much wider than my thumb, and so tender they will break into if you aren't careful. The owner/manager checked on us twice as did the other employees. Great customer service. As we left I told him the only problem I could see is that this place is going to be too small in the very near future. read more

We ate at the Catch today at about 3 pm. There were a steady flow of customers and we went inside because there was a long line at the take out. Amazing food as always. I ordered the jumbo shrimp in a large basket and instead of fries decided to try the cheezy grits. Awesome. I also got a cup of gumbo that had sausage, crawfish and shrimp in it. Fantastic. Once again we loved our food. I have told my friends on facebook they got to try this place. If you love seafood like we do this is the place to go. The prices are great too. Way cheaper than other Seafood places. The shrimp are huge and lightly battered and so very tender. My husband loved the seasoned fries as well. read more

We love this place. They never disappoint. Service is always great- fast and friendly- and the food is hot and delicious. You can't go wrong with the fried fish, shrimp, or chicken, and while the fries are good, ask to sub red beans and rice. They're so, so good!! I have returned a couple of times since my first visit and the made some really good improvements im really impressed. The fries are so much better i know its silly but the fries are allot better the tacos are even better have tried both the fish and shrimp. My family has even tried a couple of the baskets chicken,shrimp, and fish there good not greasy like allot of fried food. My husband liked the gumbo his only complant not enough spice. I havent retried the salads our the red beans and rice ill try those next time. Keep up the good work im really glad your in longview. read more

We went to the Catch on Sunday May 29, 2016 for supper. We had never been there before. I checked the reviews before we went. The reviews seemed great. I had the fish and shrimp plate. It was very good. My husband had the white fish plate, he really liked it. We went back today Monday May 30, 2016, the very next night. I had the grilled shrimp plate with coleslaw and fresh veggies, it was out of this world good. My husband had the white fish again. The food and the service is awesome. The staff is very friendly. This will be our go to place for fish and shrimp. I have heard the crawfish are very good as well. read more
