The Cat House is a unique, fun experience to hang out and chill with some adoptable cats. If you or someone you're with likes cats - you'll enjoy the Cat House in Roselle. They have a ton of cats walking around and hanging out (including kittens) and you're able to play with them, buy drinks or snacks while you're there or cat merchandise that helps support the house getting cats adopted. I participated in a cat bingo night where you can get cat themed prize bags which was pretty fun. I'd recommend a visit for a unique experience and if you like cats.

Went to cat yoga here and the venue was just incredible! These folks have an amazing mission rescuing cats and giving them a new chance at life. The storefront had a wonderful selection of cat themed items for purchase as well as Japanese snacks. You can really tell how comfortable the cats are and how well taken care of they are as they transition into their forever homes.

Was hoping for a cat cafe to open closer to us and was so excited to check this one out! The cats and kittens were so friendly and playful and since it's through reservation, it wasn't packed with people. It felt very nice and intimate with our little group :) Snacks and drinks for purchase upon arrival and there are pins, stickers, shirts, etc to purchase as a souvenir!

I stumbled across The Cat House while in Roselle just by chance. I spoke with the owner, Irene & her amazing staff that were there that day. I went in to check it out for a few minutes and asked if I can buy a session, which is $12.00 for 45 minutes to hang out with the cats. They typically ask for reservations, but they happened to have a walk-in time available when I was there. They also have special events, such as cat yoga, for $20.00 per person. It is a very calming, beautiful environment with cats for adoption from Heartland Animal Shelter, in Wheeling. https://www.heartlandanimalshelter.org/ You can purchase a drink, and snack, if you want. They also have a cute boutique. The cats are mostly free roaming, except for a few that are either new or can be out when a few specific cats aren't out, which is similar to shelters with free roaming cats. I would highly recommend this place for any cat lover!

I have been meaning to to go here since they opened and I finally made some time to stop on by. By far this was the most fun I have had in a long time. I recommend booking ahead to secure your spot since there's limited availability at a time. When you check in you'll have 45 minutes to hang out with the cats. They provide plenty of enrichment toys and activities for the cats to interact with so it is a very fun and interactive environment. Honestly it's so easy to lose track of time since there's so many friendly and sassy cats to play with. If you have time, I highly recommend stopping on in!!

Is this one a keychain?! The kitties go wherever they like so it's a kitty surprise everywhere you look

My first two cats I owned were from Heartland Animal shelter, I have continued to follow them over the years so I began following Cat House's journey excited to check it out sometime. It did not disappoint! It's Super cute & clean. Kitties just keep appearing! There are lots of toys to play with the kitties. The stickers and accessories for sale are super cute it was so hard to choose! I love supporting local and a fantastic animal shelter. Make a reservation, it's the perfect way to spend 45 min. Melt away your stresses watching the cutest kittens play or cuddle with you. Can't wait to go back again!

A very chill and welcoming space. The staff was friendly and dedicated to the well-being of the cats. There is a cat type for every hooman. I really enjoyed using the provided cat toys with the energetic cats. My group enjoyed petting a relaxed sleepy cat while we conversed. The merch was various and fun. The snacks are unique and satisfying. The administration price was very reasonable. The only downside for me is the 45 minutes seemed to fly by too quickly. I look forward to my next visit.

I love kitty cats and I like to donate and also buy from the gift shop. For me it's a good time to play or relax with the kitties.

Upon walking in, you see tons off different boutiques sectioned off into different areas. There are handcrafted crafts and gifts from all different vendors, and no matter who you are, you're bound to find something you like, including candles, clothes, sports, food, jewelry, home decor, etc. Prices vary by product and vendor, so of course some vendors will be more expensive than others. Some even sell name-brands like Marc Jacobs. For the most part, I think prices were pretty fair! Not only were the products great, but so were the workers. One of the men who was stocking found out that I love penguins, so he was showing me penguin-themed items. He was nice, and we all kept laughing. Also, when we were checking out, both cashiers were extremely personable. One checked us out, and the other wrapped some of the more fragile items, which I appreciated. The cashier who checked us out absolutely loved us and had a great conversation with us about how we all had so much in common with her. When it comes to location, the building is within a strip mall, and they have tons of parking and other popular shops around. Overall, my friends and I all said we would for sure return to the store! Apparently, vendors normally update their booths every few weeks unless they're out of state, so we will definitely come back soon to see the new stock. Since it is Christmas time, the store was FULL of Christmas and holiday decor. I loved the atmosphere because of this! There were a few bare booths where no vendors were anymore, so it seems as though a couple of vendors left. *If you're an entrepreneur, I'd definitely look into a booth here!*

The people that work down there are really friend and know just about everyone that works in my office. It's a family owned giftshop/convenience store which is nice to see. They have a huge drink selection, chip selection, snack selection and surprisingly a huge greeting card selection. I love that I can come downstairs to get balloons, a card and a gift for a coworker with ease. The card selection really is great and beyond helpful to have downstairs at work. They have a cute little stuffed animal section, as well. You can find a scratch & win lotto machine plus you're able to buy regular lotto tickets here as well. My lunch crew and I lovingly refer to the giftshop as 'downstairs' - even if we're on the ground floor level coming back from somewhere, we will still ask each other, you wanna go downstairs? Shame on Enesco for destroying a once valuable collection that I had hoped would retain its value.
