He also recommended some colors for me to try that he personally uses, and showed me examples on models he was working on. I can only imagine how awesome this store is without the covid restrictions. Only 2 customers are currently allowed in at once. A customer joined in our conversation and we were cut short because a third customer wanted to do some shopping. I imagine that during "normal" times there's games going on and stuff inside. I will be stopping back next month on my next visit to Socal to purchase a few things so I can try to make my fantasy dwarf army compatible with the new game format. Definitely worth stopping by!

When I got there, the owner let us in and I began to look around. Everything was a mess, orders were in boxes scattered all over the place. It looked like a bomb went off. The owner was busy helping my dad so I just started looking around. I picked a few things from the wall and began shopping. I had my 2 year old on my shoulders so he wouldn't grab things he shouldn't. When I went down one of the aisles to pick out a body for my sons slot car, the owner got weird and told me I couldn't look at the things I wanted to buy. My impression was he was really afraid I was going to steal something. My budget for his shop was 500 bucks. After the way he treated me, I politely put everything back and decided I would take my business elsewhere. This business looks like it's failing. If you order anything on the web, I would be surprised if you got it in time let alone what you actually ordered. I will never buy anything from this place, even if it was the last local business left in the world. eBay is much more friendlier than this place. We called ahead and made arrangements to be there, when we got there he acted like our money wasn't good enough. Honestly, I don't think I was white enough for this dude. And I never throw down that card, it's just how I felt. 250 miles round trip to be a complete waste of time.

I didn't get that here. When I asked about local EDH events, I was told there's one Commander night. That's cool but I only play edh so I'm curious for other areas. When I asked about the broader EDH community, the owner was dismissive and overly corrective. It felt closed-off rather than supportive, especially when he made it clear he doesn't promote anything beyond his own store. That approach doesn't work for me. I prefer spaces with a more open-minded, generous vibe, not a "there can be only one" mentality. As an old-school player, I value basic respect and being part of a positive, inclusive nerd community. I'll look elsewhere.

While I could see it being a nice place to play for some especially with it boasting many weekly events for a variety of card games (Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, Pokemon), I felt the sealed and single selections were both pricey and less plentiful compared to what I have seen at other shops. We didn't have any penny sleeves or toploaders so I needed to come back. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The prices for everything was also very competitive and reasonably priced. They also do grading services which I can't wait to bring my cards in to get graded! Overall the experience was great and I can't wait to come back here!

Best Buy was out of stock so I went here thinking I would end up maybe paying 30, but I didn't have time to check walmart and this place was close by where I was going. The blaster of basic 2023-24 was FIFTY BUCKS HERE! I paid up because I didn't want to leave empty handed, but just to give you an example, the same box I picked up later that week at Walmart for my kids and it was 25 -- point is that this was not even an in demand or rare product but I got scalped paying double here... WHY?!? I don't get how places stay in business charging this much, maybe there is some volume discount I'm not aware of? Anyway they had a good selection and are nice people working there so I'll give em 3 stars for that, but as far as the prices, NEVER AGAIN!
