I never got a chance to visit them at their last spot but this new spot near the beach and Main Street is an upgrade regardless! This place is pure fun stuff from head to toe, 70s to some current day items. I find myself saying out loud "Omg! I remember this!" several times while shopping here (I mean, the 80s & 90s were the best after all, ammirite?!). Well-organized, vibrant, easy to navigate BIG selection of things from nostalgic toys, games, books, collectibles... you name it....Ghostbusters, Mario, Star Wars, Hot Wheels, My Little Pony, Funko, etc. I'm not well-versed in the super nerdy things but my friend is and he goes nuts in here. The owner is really nice and is very knowledgeable about the products (which are more than reasonably priced). The owner is so knowledgeable in fact, that he takes part in the local Ventura Theater Toy Con twice a year (I believe he's the main guy behind it) which is SO SO much fun and I scored lots of unique things there last year. If you have not been, it is a must and happening this Saturday, June 22nd at 10am! I believe the next one is in November so mark your calendar :) Warning that you will spend time reminiscing in here but it's well worth it. Bonus that they are active on IG so I can see what new inventory and events are upcoming for the store. Please support local business. This place is a gem!

I called Toy Crazy on my way home and they had exactly what I was looking for .... and more!! I was on deadline for a gift for my grandson and Melissa saved the day!! Don't let the size of the shop fool you... she had more toys than the other 5 stores combined and her curated collection is so organized it is a breeze to find what you are looking for. While there I scored Christmas gifts for the granddaughters as well! And if that wasn't enough... - the prices are competitive with any shop or online - she asked if I wanted them wrapped!! woohoo! I had a short latte at Cafe Luxxe and returned to in 10 minutes to gather my treasures! Melissa saves the day!! Note - if the gift is to be from Kris Kringle, ask her NOT to put her store brand stickers on the wrapped gift!!
