We had a fantastic lunch today at Shamrock Brewing! We had a party of 4 and everything we ordered…read morewas delicious. We started with the scotch eggs and Reuben bombs for appetizers. I absolutely loved the scotch eggs! I skipped the Reuben bombs since I'm not a big Swiss cheese fan, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. I ordered the Jameson meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was amazing -- full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband and son both got the fish and chips and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter loved the kids hamburger, especially the potato chips/fries that came with it. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch, and my husband and I both enjoyed a refreshing beer with lunch. We had such a hard time deciding what to order because so many things on the menu looked great, so we'll definitely be back to try more items. Highly recommend!

Bar Service was exceptional. We ordered two entrees, Fish & Chips and Corned Beef. Fish & Chips…read morewere outstanding. Corned beef entree was just weird to me. I don't think there was anything wrong with the cook of the food, but the seasonings were just way off base to me. The Corned Beef was slathered with a Mustard Crème sauce that should have been served on the side. Some may like it, others will hate it. I didn't care for it. Cabbage seemed to be braised in a heavy Cayenne Pepper broth. It was inedible. The Champs were so bland that you had to shake the hell put of the Salt and Pepper. The Corned Beef without the Mustard sauce was actually pretty good, but so much was slathered with the mustard sauce that it just isn't worth ordering. Bottom line, here is how it breaks down: Service: 5/5. The bartender tonight was exceptional! Food: 3/5 at best due to the second entree ordered (fish & chips) being REALLY GOOD. Overall: 4-5*. The Fish & Chips saved this entire meal. There are a number of things to order from the menu at the bar. Obviously I would stay away from the CB, but I would definitely recommend the fish and chips! When I come back to Pueblo, I would definitely consider coming back here.

DC's on B Street has been around for 25 years, and this was our first time visiting. We were…read morepleasantly surprised to be seated without a reservation. The restaurant has a cozy, homey feel with sea-themed décor -- things like fishing nets, crab cages, and other nautical touches that make it feel like a neighborhood seafood spot. We started with their signature crab cake, which was thin, nicely cooked, and drizzled with a flavorful bistro sauce. For our main dish we had the daily fish special, a flaky grilled fish that was lightly seasoned and served with well-cooked vegetables and risoni pasta. The green beans were especially memorable -- perfectly crispy, which reminded me how much I love them prepared that way. The staff was friendly and helpful, even recommending the $8 wine special, which was a great value. Overall, a welcoming neighborhood restaurant downtown Pueblo with great seafood and a relaxed atmosphere.

Wonderful lunch spot near the riverwalk in downtown Pueblo…read more Decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather to sit outside for lunch. There are shaded tables, plus the light breeze made it delightful. Service is friendly and quick. House salad is well presented. A nice mix of freshly cut veggies. Reuben is excellent. The pastrami tastes smoked, which is a unique twist to this NY deli fan. It's hand-sliced thin, topped with sauerkraut and melted swiss, slathered with thousand island dressing and served on toasted rye. Very good rendition of this knife & fork sandwich. Could resist chocolate lava cake. Because what's lunch without dessert??? :-) It's a hockey-puck sized chocolate cake, covered with molten chocolate. Inside, the cavity is filled with more molten chocolate. For the chocoholic, this one is a must. Pro Tip - filling is HOT! This is a great little spot. Try it!

We're from San Diego with many, many chicken spots and this place beats them all. The chicken is made to order and they even mixed my dry rub into the coating. Fantastic. My only regret is living so far away. I hope to be back.

The staff was also really friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. My husband and I both ordered the Chicken Filets (chicken fingers / tenders) and they were very flavorful! Your order is made-to-order so it comes out piping hot. The coleslaw was good, it didn't have an overly strong mayo or vinegar taste, really balancing it out. It was also fresh and crunchy. The chicken was moist, hot, and tender - the perfect chicken filet. The other fun part about Chick's is all their sauces - and I'm a sucker for sauces. We tried the mango habanero, ranch, buffalo, and honey mustard. Our favorite was the mango, it wasn't too spicy but had a good kick and mango flavor, definitely the best one! The honey mustard was more on the mustard side vs. honey, but the tang was nice to cool down the mango habenero. The ranch was also homemade which is my favorite, and the buffalo was good as well. We enjoying trying all the sauces and dipping both our chicken and bread in them. Overall a really nice local restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try the wings and full Chicken meals. Support small business and check them out. Pro tip - They were reasonably priced as well - same price you'd pay at Chik-fil-A or KFC for two meals, but it's local!
