Then learned they were a primarily reservation-based restaurant, BUT they were able to snag me a table...Yay! The restaurant was unusual in that it felt like a fake establishment, almost set up as a prop for a comedy skit. The server came over promptly and told me that all food arrived from outside, and they just heated things up, and that they may or may not have all things on the menu. Anyway, it all worked out, they had what I wanted, and it was all actually really good, and the concert was... AMAZING!!!

The venue is nestled in a wide expanse and there is plenty of parking. The building is gorgeious inside and out. You are able to order a meal ahead for dining before a show. I thought it would be chaos but it was well organized and the seatings timed in a way that you could have a leisurely meal. The concert hall is beautiful and I'm guessing there is not a bad seat in the house. I will be back!

Their huge 275-seat event space was packed at tables for 4 to 8, for the two 1-hour sets of Live Dead & Brothers Band, an Allman Brothers - Grateful Dead group of legacy musicians from those bands and families!!! An authentic rockin' performance! They opened hot, with Feelin' Alright and Truckin', and ended hot with Midnight Rider, Ramblin' Man, and Jessica, with around 14 more between. The acoustics were excellent at our table, and we also took up our share of the crowded dance area :-) Their tour continues at least through Dec 2026. Our tickets were about $50 each. Service was fast and friendly, and they let us pull up one more chair for our group of nine. You can get crafted beers and cocktails. We settled in with ice cold regional beers, which honestly are just as distinctive as fancy craft beers. We got some food to share off their "concert menu", too. An entrée-size dish of rich creamy homemade Mac & Cheese, made with tasty aged Grafton Cheddar, soft slightly-al-dente curly Cavatappi pasta tubes, not-overcooked green beans, as i recall, crisply crusted with lightly-maple breadcrumbs. Very flavorful and satisfying. A sweet fresh bright Autumn Salad of greens, pecans, and bright beets, in tart vinaigrette. And juicy "Bull Run Classic" burgers with crisp lettuce, tasty firm tomato, mildly-sharp red onion, and, for one of them, an add-on of rich cheddar, all on a cloud-like brioche bun. They do ask for $20 per person food/beverage minimum for all shows, essentially an entree or a couple beverages each. That's about what we had planned to order anyway :-) This place knocked us out with their dedication to farm-to-table ingredients, sourced from more than 25 regional farms named on the dinner menu. We've never seem such an extensive list of the actual sources. Very cool! The Bull Run has been a tavern since 1741, named after the Battle of Bull Run in 1861, (or in another version, named for a brawl in the tavern at the same time :-), and has been run by the Guercios extended-family since 1946. It was a stop on the stagecoach route and a gathering place for the Revolutionary war. We loved the original wood, structure, and décor. The fireplaces were lovely. It's a huge venue. Bull Run has live music every week, and they're open Wed-Sun, but watch their schedule because dates vary, sometimes one day that week, sometimes all four! This show was in their 275-seat room. There's at least one larger room for around 400. Theres a little parking along Rt 2A, and much more out back across the covered bridge. Dont be put off by the rustic exterior. We loved this legendary performance at a legendary restaurant!

He really loves the staff and has made friends. He is excited about the trades and feels good about routine and his future. He prays due to the truck accident none of the students including him have to go home or be transferred to another center. He says the staff is real attentive to your needs and compassionate about people's disabilities and tries to approach requests in a timely manner. This place is a godsend!

I need to take you back a few years (almost 18) to when Charles Grant was just a name that changed my life. I was on my way for a family vacation when I heard about Swiss Air 111 going down near Canada. I had just been in New York and my dearest cousin was going on a humanitarian mission and was on that flight. This was in the day before cell phones and I honestly did not know who to call. So I just called her number praying someone would answer and SHE did! She told me she was in too much shock to talk about it but that I should relax because she was fine. Years later I meet Charles and my cousin tells me this is the man that saved her life and told her not to get on that flight. Yes ... this really happened. Out of the blue one day, I get a message from him asking me if I was ok. I said yes but why does he ask - he said he received a "message" that there was something wrong with me. He continues to press me about my heart (full work up earlier that month - no issues), cholesterol (beyond amazing), and my blood pressure (low beyond belief). I finally admit to him that my heart is heavy mostly because we were sending my son to school and I was worried about finances. He said not to worry and that a job would come my way soon ... it did and it sort of fell in my lap unexpectedly. I also hosted a high tea for my friends at my house one lovely summer day and he did readings for everyone. The only thing I supplied to him were first names and birthdays (to do numerology for each person). Each person was touched and amazed at what he had to say to them. One woman had just lost her mother and was able to connect with her and was brought to tears. This man is genuine, gentle, and the best.
