Lucy is an empathetic listener who will ask hard questions (in a very kind way). She kept me "on topic" and accountable as I met my personal and career goals. Lucy helped me navigate a difficult conversation at work and I am truly grateful for her support in advocating and speaking up for myself. As we continued to work together, I further clarified my personal values, skills and strengths which gave me a clearer sense of purpose. And just so wonderful to hear from passed loved ones! There was always validation. The messages from spirit via Laura live on with us - I think of a message or two every day because they were so meaningful to me. I'd also like to mention what a lovely person Laura is. She is so sweet and it's very clear how much she cares.

I'd like to share 2 different readings that I've had the pleasure of receiving from Laura. One was…read morea one-on-one about a year ago and the other a group circle reading at Franklin Yoga and Wellness more recently. I had heard of her gift from a friend who told me Laura was able to tell her things about people from her past (spirits) and messages about experiences that no one else could have possibly known. That intrigued me so I had a personal reading with Laura one night and, although there wasn't any 'mind blowing' message, she described a few of my deceased relatives and some kind words they had for me. This was the first time I met Laura and she, nor my friend who introduced us, could have known about some things from my past. I briefly thought maybe I might hear from my father who had passed away 10 years ago. Although he didn't appear, his closest relatives did and the messages could have easily come from my father! I left with a calm sense that I was being watched over and on the right path. I would describe the reading as a loving and peaceful experience that I definitely plan to do again this year. My second experience was at a circle reading with over 20 women. That's a lot of people!! It was unexpected because we had to get more chairs. We arranged ourselves in a large circle with Laura at the top center. She started out by looking to the person directly to her right and mentioned the words a baby was sharing and it was the woman's child who had recently passed. She looked around and randomly started choosing other women and shared messages from uncles to friends that totally surprised the person. The words were about guidance in their current situations that the person knew exactly why the messages were being shared. These were very meaningful specific guidance, such as getting out of a job or relationship that was not right for the person. Amazing doesn't come close to describing how everyone was feeling for everyone else! The physical description of the spirit that appeared for me wasn't someone I could imagine that had been in my life but this spirit was cooking (which is my favorite thing to do). Maybe It was someone from a previous generation as the clothes she was wearing could have been a century old. Laura passed along a message about a decision that I had been thinking about recently and that was a huge surprise! Again, not only a message but specific guidance from a special spirit watching over me. I went into both readings that whatever happened, I would be appreciative. Although the spirits that appeared weren't my immediate relations, I believe I was somehow networked with them (sort of like LinkedIn) - once or twice removed but connected. If you're curious and the time feels right for you, reach out to Laura. I hope you enjoy meeting her as much as I have. Have fun, too! .

I found Kim Childs by doing a Google Search for Life Coaches near me. I had been floundering for a…read morefew years, and grew to be very unhappy with the stagnation in my life after the COVID-19 pandemic. My husband's coworker talked about how he had worked with a life coach in middle age to help him figure out his next steps after an intercontinental move to the US. I read Kim's website and noticed she was associated with Kripalu, is a former yoga instructor, and I was intrigued. I read a bit of her blog and decided to email to set up an introductory phone call. I felt like we connected on the call. She was lighthearted, but helped me move forward with action items in just that one phone call. Before our first meeting, I was really nervous. I didn't know what she would be like in person (I can pick up on other people's energy very easily), but I was soon at ease as I realized she is a kind and thoughtful person, who is also joyful and positive. She is spiritual, and educated, with an "East Meets West" style of coaching. During my three months working with her I explored more opportunities than I have in a decade on my own. Having biweekly meetings held me accountable, but gave me time in between sessions to accomplish our collaboratively created goals. If I didn't accomplish everything, that was fine. We would discuss what I didn't do and decide whether to add it to the next to do list or drop it. She taught me how to better read my intuition when making decisions, and to clear negative beliefs that were holding me back. I now have a path forward to explore several interests, and I have the tools Kim taught me to use along the way. She also referred me to an amazing acupuncturist/reiki master when I expressed interest in energy healing (this alone was worth a million dollars). Working with Kim for three months has been more effective in changing my life than five years of therapy. I urge anyone who is on the fence to take the leap and explore whether she is a good fit.
