It was worth it to not deal with her. She tried to change my medication every time I saw her. I know what works for me. She wouldn't listen. She insisted on a regimen of fish oil and magnesium (quack quack). Unfortunately she was the only prescriber in the area that my insurance would cover. My previous psychiatrist and I worked on my meds for years. She thought she knew better. Also, she's not a psychiatrist. She's a psychiatric nurse practitioner. There is a big difference. She'd try therapy and I told her I only wanted a prescriber. I was not comfortable with her. She did not create an atmosphere of trust. That annoyed her and she'd let me know in a very vocal way.
