I don't ACTUALLY believe any of the above--Tarek is fantastic and easily gets 5 stars from me --I just had to open with some slander because I don't want him to get even busier. His services are already almost completely booked for the year, and it's not even June. Talking to him has the energy of talking to a long-time friend who knows your soul and wants to see you succeed, combined with some tough love from a mentor who wants to help you identify/remove obstacles but can't do the work for you. My first appointment was for an astrology reading to try him out last year. More than just the upcoming transits, I enjoyed learning more about my birth chart from Tarek. Even though it wasn't booked as a psychic reading, he said a few things that I really don't think he could have known to talk about just by looking at my chart. I immediately booked a psychic session with him and another astrology reading for my next birthday after I got off the call. (This was November 2023, booked for my October 2024 birthday, because I was THAT excited.) I've had other astrology readings, and this was much more personalized and honestly more enjoyable than my other ones. I finally had my first (ever) psychic reading with him this week. I'm leaving this review before I can share if anything was "accurate" regarding predictions/advice. He was already spot on with how he read so much of my energy. It was less about "I see you doing x,y,z" and more about the ways I'm standing in my way, routines I can implement, and a few other topics/questions I had for him. I felt very seen by him. I wish I had booked more than an hour; the call went so quickly and included so much information I'll be chewing on and integrating for a long time. Okay- I'll validate the negative reviews a little by adding that both my readings started late. I've booked both in the morning and afternoon- time of day didn't matter; both appointments started about 30-60min late, and one was rescheduled to the next day and was still behind. It didn't bother me - I had a flexible schedule both days, but it's something to keep in mind so I can continue to be flexible for future appointments. For this type of work, I would rather have someone who is fully engaged and present than always punctual because they are splitting focus with a clock. Tarek gives YOU his focus. Both my conversations with him went a little over time as he answered my lingering questions and offered clarity; it's easy to imagine how his day can snowball once even just one session runs over. He was very communicative during the rescheduling process and when running behind schedule. Maybe be nice to him and remember it's a one-man business that takes a lot of energy to run day-to-day? I'm wondering if the negative reviews who had serious issues with him/never had their appointments were rude. I haven't had any issues with payment and feel like I've gotten value from each appointment. I suspect that readings with Tarek will be my annual/semi-annual routine for a long time. I came across Tarek from Boston Psychic on a social media platform and decided to give his services a try based on what I saw. I contacted him multiple times--via text, email, and phone calls--but never received a response. Despite the lack of communication, I booked a 45-minute phone call session through his website, which was listed as available, and paid $90 via Venmo. When the scheduled time came, he never called. I waited and even called him within 10 minutes of the appointment time, but once again, no response. If you're offering available slots on your website, it's reasonable to expect that you'll honor them or at least communicate with your customers. This experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. It's one thing to not respond to inquiries, but it's another to take payment and not follow through. Tarek is the real deal. I'm a skeptical person but he left no room for me to question his abilities. I left the session truly in awe. He was spot on and I left our session with so much clarity. He gave me guidance I needed and connected me to a loved one who passed. The things he knew and said about the family member were impossible for him to know if he wasn't gifted. I am really disappointed to be writing this review.... but since I've tried everything I feel like I have no other choice. To start out I have been a big believer in psychic abilities and have been spiritually curious for a while. I never had a reading before, but around February I felt like I had something I really needed some answers on and with all these positive reviews I felt safe in getting some guidance from Tarek. The next free session was in October, but I was okay with waiting if he really was the real deal like everyone here says. So I am anticipating this phone call for 8 months, whenever I'm feeling lost I keep telling myself that it's okay I'll get some answers and honestly this call just gave me hope in a difficult situation. October rolls around and I'm getting ready. Since I'm from Europe I e-mail him asking about some payment questions and he answers really quickly, which gave me further reassurance. So I sent the money, friends and family, like he requested. And then.... even after confirming the day of....HE JUST NEVER CALLED! I've sent instructions how to best reach me. I've sent multiple e-mails, asking to reschedule, asking for my money back and just asking how he could scam people who put their hopes into him like that. HE NEVER EVEN CANCELLED, RESPONDED OR REFUNDED: I'm just so disappointed. 90$ is a lot of money for me but I thought I was investing it into solving something that has been really difficult for me and now it just makes me sick to know its just thrown out to some scam. I also heard about Tarek from Amanda Rollins on TikTok. I paid for a reading via Venmo on 10/23, which was scheduled for 12/16. Tarek missed this appointment and urged me to reschedule for 1/6. This second appointment was also missed. I requested a refund, to which he replied that his Venmo account was frozen. I contacted Venmo and they provided instructions for Tarek to contact them to unfreeze his account, which would allow a refund to be issued. Crickets...no response. I am now looking into filing a small claims case. Seems silly to pay a $45 filing fee for a $100 refund, but the lack of response and seeing here that my situation is not an isolated incident I feel that this would be a justified course of action. read more

Ok, I just want to start this with a little back-story... About a year and a half ago a friend of mine told me that she was going to hang out with her friend named Tarek. I said, "Tarek? I went to high school with someone named Tarek. I wonder if it's the same person." I told her how awesome and funny he was and long story short, we realized that the people we were talking about were one in the same. Then she told me that he was doing psychic readings and I decided to give it a try...Why not? Well, I was certainly in for a shock! I was set to leave my job and enter into a very competitive and prestigious program. It was very hard to get into and afforded me many opportunities. I saw Tarek last night and it was my firs time ever seeing a psychic - I didn't know what to expect and was extremely anxious, and let me just say: I am absolutely awestruck by his ability. I am in actual disbelief. Within moments of getting started, he described the guy I'm seeing to a T, - I'm talking personality AND physical appearance. He knew exactly how long we'd been together, and articulated perfectly my feelings about it. Like I said "we haven't been together that long" and he goes "yeah I know, 3 months". This guy is truly legitimate. He's honest and frank instead of vaguely saying things, but he's also considerate and kind. He cares about his clients and always follows up with them/checks in about certain things. I made a fake email address and name when I first met him because I was a huge skeptic. By touching an item of my loved one, he told me exactly how they died, what they experienced, what their personality is like, commentary on things going on in my life, thoughts on what had previously happened in their lives, and any spirits surrounding them, and many other things. I saw Tarek for a reading in person a few months ago, and it was one of the coolest experiences I have ever had. I purchased an hour long reading, which began by him going into details about my life - most of which were super spot on, and some I didn't even necessarily realize until he pointed them out to me. For example, I am looking for a new job and he told me that in many ways I am being lazy and not being proactive enough on my own behalf. As much as that sorta stuff stinks to hear sometimes, he was 100% right. If you want someone to sit in a room with you and tell you how wonderful you are for an hour straight, perhaps you should give your mom a call. Initially I was hesitant to write a review, as I generally don't do it unless asked to, and I definitely hesitate to write a negative one. However I was so disappointed with my reading that I think it's important to write one that is honest, because quite frankly, I went in on the expectation of 5-stars because of the other reviews that I read beforehand. I like to go anywhere from 1-3 times a year - whenever I'm particularly looking for some additional insights into my life's path. Most of my past readings have been generally positive and relatively accurate. I will also acknowledge that I know that even the best psychics can give an "off", or in my case an "almost entirely off" reading, so I'm giving Tarek the benefit of the doubt in saying that this just must have been one of them, unfortunately. I have been pretty sick over the past few weeks, so maybe this altered his ability to read my energy, or maybe he was tired after a full day of readings and the evening time slot wasn't optimal. Possibly. I aim to be fair. It is also important to note that I am always interested in looking at myself as honestly and objectively as I can, with the sincere belief that taking ownership and responsibility is the only road to empowerment and change. With that being said, I felt that his descriptions of me and my behavior were **drastically** off. Yes, there were some elements of truth in there - but most were merely that - elements. Degree is crucial. The degree to which you feel, think, and do certain things makes a huge difference between describing a normal person and a complete lunatic. Tarek's descriptions of me were not only *SO* exaggerated and extreme, but they were also highly insulting. I was offended on multiple occasions, and felt that arguing with him would only make me look like I was in denial, so I didn't bother. No, I'm actually not the depressive, dramatic, clueless and socially unsophisticated person who has a hard time expressing herself as you describe. Yes, I have my moments (just like everyone else,) but I am rather even-keeled, rational, and communicate important things when I need to. Aside from the (primarily false and inflated) personal descriptions of me (which mostly felt like personal attacks,) and several contradictions, there was also a description of a person and circumstance that doesn't exist and never did (past/current, not future.) 'Do you understand this?'he asks when he says something. Nope, wrong. A possible allusion to previous pregnancy or pregnancies? Um....no, lol. Used to eat nutritiously in the past but now just don't care and eat like crap? Again, couldn't be further from the truth. There were also suggestions made, I'm sure with good intentions, that I be and act like someone I'm not in order to have certain results in my life, one actually being that I speak as closely as I could to a Disney princess character (??!?!) Hopefully that sounds as ridiculous to you as it does to me! I'm sorry, but that kind of advice never flies with me, as not only is it disingenuous, but people see right through that BS in short order if they get to know you. No thanks. I will agree that some behavior modifications can and should be made, but I am generally happy with who I am and how I am, despite your insistence that I'm just, well, all wrong. There were some redeeming qualities here - it wasn't a total wash (and loss of $85) in my book. Tarek did offer some gems of wisdom here and there and gave maybe 1 or 2 accurate assessments, as well as some healing stones before I was leaving, which I appreciate. However, overall I was very disappointed with my reading experience. This is not only because I found his style to be very course, unrefined, and repeatedly insulting, but I found him to be about 90-95% OFF, which nullifies any credibility in my book when talking about my future. I'm sorry, but I refute your title of "Boston's Best Psychic." Yikes. So. Much. I will say again that I write this with only the purest of intentions to everyone. I was looking forward to having a reading with Tarek; I've been in the midst of a lot of life changes and liked the positive reviews I'd seen on him. It seemed like he'd be a good person for straightforward feedback that's pretty accurate. I scheduled a phone reading with him online and he confirmed via email. I ended up with a conflict and needed to reschedule, which we did via phone and text. I called at our scheduled time--no answer. Called again; no answer. Texted; no response. No response to a call and text the following day. The guy just dropped off the face of the earth. I don't like giving negative reviews, but this was just really unprofessional. Perhaps more importantly, I'd want to caution anyone about paying in advance for a session. There's a function for this via his website, but I had a gut feeling I shouldn't use it, and now I know why. Dead On. I'll be honest, I've been on a bit of a psychic kick lately and have spoken with a probably 6-7 different psychics two months ago. I started off planning a corporate event with psychics for the guest's entertainment, got curious, got carried away...what can I say, I'm a go big or go home kinda gal :). I always go back to Tarek because he is not only accurate, but hilarious and relates messages from spirit in a compassionate way. I wanted to move in June, and he said it wouldn't be until July but still would not be a good fit for me. It would be "a better space but shittier people," because the girl would be really anal retentive. YEP! It was July I moved in, but didn't realize WHO he was talking about and later realized this girl was the nut he was describing. -Talked to him again about the roommate and he said "February looks good." February was the month I told her I was going to move out! Hahaha. -In 2016 he told me my dad would put his business on the market in 2 years. Yes, he did that this year. -In 2016 said he saw a woman and re-organization for my internship. Yep! Was moved from one location in the company to another, and a woman was my supervisor. -Saw an opportunity at the end of my internship, but said he did not think I would take it. He was right! -Predicted my parents would sell their house around spring and the first opportunity that came up December would fall through. Yep! Horrible guy. We drove over 90 minutes to make it to our appointment and he calls us 10 minutes prior to tell us he has to cancel because he had back to back appointments and was too tired. After we explained how we drove all this way to see him he continued to yell at us telling us to see through his perspective. When in reality it was probably a good thing he canceled anyway because he is most likely a scam and a waste of $100. I do not recommend seeing this guy taking into account that there are plenty of other, better psychics in the area. Tarek is very unprofessional and most likely has no insight of what he is actually doing. Don't waste your money and please go to someone else who actually values this profession. He had no sympathy for the trouble he put us through and does not even deserve 1 star. We are very disappointed. A very self centered man and he acted we should of known what his busy schedule was like which was not our responsibility. read more

Words simply cannot do this man and his incredible gifts justice but I'm certainly going to try! Tarek is positively incredible. His skills blew me away and I was confident I would enjoy my reading after being sent his way from a friend, however, the experience exceeded any expectations I formed prior to speaking to him. Let me state from the outset, I am a doctor with an extensive scientific background and was therefore more skeptical than not prior to meeting Tarek regarding "psychics" But due to circumstances in my life which left me desperate for answers, having exhausted all other means I felt, and with no end in sight to my sadness and confusion, I sought a spiritual avenue. And that led me to Tarek. Admittedly, I was nervous for no other reason than fear of the "unknown" and of how I would react to possibly hearing things I wanted to hear but in many respects did not want to hear. Tarek greeted me politely, invited me to sit across from him at round table and only asked me one thing: "Why are you here today, Scott?" With that, and I mean ONLY with that question and my brief answer, "I'm here to talk about my relationship," Tarek, without hesitation, spoke clearly and specifically and in great detail. I am not exaggerating when I state that in less than two minutes, he shook me to my very core with an uncanny knowledge of what I was seeking and which was impossible for anyone to have known unless that person was a genuine psychic. The statements he made were so precise and so blatantly accurate it scared me. I'm referring to facts I already knew but the circumstances around those facts I did not. I rarely spoke other than to ask questions and I never shared any information beyond what was in my questions. He didn't ask me questions, he just stated categorically what was in his mind as though he was answering what was in mine! There wasn't a single moment of vagueness in his tone or speech. And he never asked for verification from me if he was accurate or correct because he already knew it was! He doesn't "lead" He states from his mind what he sees. If you do ask a question for clarification, it's an immediate answer; no hesitation. You really must prepare yourself to hear what you may not want to hear, but then that's what makes the experience with a genuine psychic like Tarek so remarkable. And if for any reason you are stunned as I was at times, he's a very compassionate man; really concerned how you have been affected by the things you learn through his readings. I continue to ask myself and of those I have referred to him, how is it possible for such a power, a "gift", of that magnitude to actually exist in a human being? Where does it originate? How does he control the immense flow of detailed information that must enter his mind at any one time! My only comment if I had to sum up the experience would be: If you are a skeptic of the powers that be here on Earth, Tarek is living proof that such powers exist in the mind of a few gifted fellow inhabitants on this planet. For whatever reason he was among the "chosen", I left his home with my tail between my legs numbed from the experience to the point that Tarek actually, and in a most compassionate way, shook my hand and asked if I was going to be alright. I'm not at all ashamed to say I wanted to cry at that very moment because I was so overwhelmed -- having the greatest respect for the psychic powers he possesses as well as for helping me to find some closure and a path to healing with all the information I gleaned from my first reading. I have had several more sessions with Tarek (by phone) and was no less amazed after them. I cannot express enough how the experience of a "reading" with him can and will change you if not only your level of skepticism which you might possess. My sincerest thanks to Tarek. The man provided no useful information, missed all the very obvious (and startling) events happening in my life right now, and wavered very much in his speculation about my future. He gave lots of inaccurate info. When I told him he was wrong about the things he was saying, he kept going on with topics and imaginary people that had nothing to do with my life. Instead of stopping and moving onto other things, he insisted and persisted, and wasted my minutes. He stubbornly declared I would text him in a few days telling him he was correct. He also adjusted what he said, contradicting himself, as I gave him feedback and asked questions. His cellphone reception was annoyingly poor and I wasted more time continually asking him to repeat himself. A few days later I told him the facts of the unsatisfactory, really a non-reading. He lied and made excuses. He never apologized or tried to make anything right. He refused to refund me saying only "My time is valuable." Well, it's not worth a dime if you provide no service, and in fact upset a paying customer. I've reported him to the Better Business Bureau. Let's hope Yelp's software isn't as useless as this guy and you get to see this and not waste your time and money. read more

Tarek is really remarkable. I just gave him a topic and a name, and he immediately dove in, giving an in-depth and very accurate description of my partner and our relationship dynamic, and identifying with specificity an event that's likely to cause problems down the road. Not only that, but he gave me detailed guidance on how to navigate that event -- painting a clear picture of the destructive things that are likely to happen if I handle it one way, and explaining why things will turn out better if I handle it a different way (I completely agree now that I've seen him, but would never have had that clarity if he and I hadn't spoken).
