Needed more of something to feel Brazil carnival Food--I ordered from main menu "Kimchi fried rice," which is one of my favorite dishes. I lived in South Korea for a year. I noted that the pork belly in my kimchi fried rice was very hard and chewy (overcooked) which should not be the case. Otherwise I could taste the kimchi which was good. Around the table, there were fried chicken wings, a big juicy burger, French fries (very tasty) and one of my cousins have the special skewered chicken from the Brazilian menu. She reported the chicken to be very bland despite its colorful appearance. All in all, everyone said, their food was "OK." The specialty drinks, Caipirinha (X 2) were good. Service was wonderful --our server Susan checked on us often. She was very attentive (we did pay for a reserved table & attention, I suppose). The manager checked on us twice to make sure we were having a good time and we were - generally speaking. It's a beautiful rooftop. With delicious Guinness brown gravy on the side. And veggies: peas, carrots and broccoli. Plus mashed potatoes, of course. Our friends had an appetizer of onion rings and fish n chips. The beer battered cod was fried and served with veggies and french fries. It looked very good. It was loud. And even louder when there was a goal. So conversation was a bit challenging. I was in West Palm for work and had a few hours to kill before…read moredinner so I did a Yelp search for breweries/taproom in the downtown West Palm Beach area and this came up so decided to try it This little spot is located across the tracks from the Brightline station so it's easy to miss unless you have the GPS on or have been here before. It's an actual taproom and beer garden but what makes this unique is that it's a self pour taproom which I've always wanted to try You simply walk in, go to front desk, leave a card on file and you are given a wristband. You will see a wall with taps with 18 taps for beer from light to dark beers. You simply tap the wristband on the screen for the beer you want and pour. The tap will calculate how much you pour (it goes by ounces) so you can pour a full pint or 2 oz if you so wish. Once your done you return the wristband and it will add up the total and you can charge it to the card they have on file, which is a heat concept Also the artwork and murals are so original they instantly make you want to look. In addition to the beer taps there are additional taps around the corner to pour wines and seltzers for the non-beer drinkers which is also nice They have a taco food truck outside which I didn't try as I had dinner reservations later that night Definitely recommend this spot if ever in the area

After walking around the City Place, we got to rest a little at this fun, trendy Taproom. I am not new to this concept, but of all the locations that utilizes the tap and go method, this has to be my favorite location. They have ample seating inside and outside, a loft area with more seating, and a food truck outside. There's a parking lot, street parking and if need be, a parking garage not far. They have board games and a cute vending machine that sells local art. There's sustainable decor and thrifted furniture. And when you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly face and your eye immediately dart at the beautiful WPB mural. There's nothing I disliked about this place. It's even cool that you get to purchase some beers to take home if you like what you tried. Next time I come, I want to come with a group of friends... it'll be worth the drive!

The charity aimed at funds for Cystic Fibrosis was also sponsored by the owners of this restaurant so win win all round. Would definitely come again for more substantial meal. When we first arrived, we were told they couldn't split the bill seven ways, but they could accept separate payments. We were also told there would be a 20% service charge for our group. When it was time to pay, the 20% charge hadn't been added to the bill. We had already calculated our totals assuming it would be included, which caused some confusion. Afterward, it felt like our server was frustrated when we had already factored the 20% into my payment. Since the bill couldn't be split automatically, one of my friends had to calculate everyone's individual totals and tell the server how much to charge each person's card. On top of that, both my friend and I received the wrong meals and had to wait for our correct orders to be made. Our server was kind, and I don't think any of these issues were intentional, but there were several unnecessary hassles throughout our visit that took away from an otherwise enjoyable brunch. The food was good, and I loved the atmosphere, but because of the service experience, I'm leaving a lower rating.
