REALLY wanted to like this place as breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out. But, I cook a mean breakfast at home (with my own chicken's eggs and local farmer meat) so a place actually has to be pretty special for me to make a trip. We happened to be at a doctor's appointment nearby and got excellent news so we thought we would treat ourselves. The biscuits were VERY good and the gravy was also (for a restaurant.) The regular coffee is not good for a breakfast place, so that was not a good sign. It tasted bitter and like dirt? Hard to explain. Even the orangey thick clunky cheap cup (pic) was off putting. Maybe just my opinion ...but if a small change can help? [Thin lip white ceramic] I ordered biscuits and gravy meal which comes with eggs. I ordered eggs over easy ["easy" to me means unbroken wet yolk but thoroughly cooked white]. I wanted to use the biscuit to soak up the yellow of the egg, and when I broke the orange, the whites from the eggs were clear and uncooked. I RARELY send things back to the kitchen, but I felt that the eggs were inedible so the waitress offered to bring me new eggs. I re-ordered scrambled and when she brought the plate back, she proceeded to tell me that those over easy eggs I sent back were fine. By the way, the scrambled were runny-ish as well. I like raw-ish eggs(soft boiled etc.) but only when they are my own and I am handling them. We will not be returning. To me going out for breakfast is a luxury and restaurants should treat it as such. read more

We're visiting from out of state and ate at the location in Fayetteville and on our last day, we wanted more food and we decided to try this location. The location is big, clean and bright, I love natural light. We ordered the Honey Greek Yogurt Bowl and the Sweet Potato Hash with a side biscuit. Everything was delicious. The portions are the perfect size, not too big where I feel stuffed. I'd say, could I eat more, oh yeah, but it's enough to not feel full, which I appreciate. At this location our server told us about the different jams, which in Fayetteville our server didn't mention this. We tried the Raspberry Melba jam and it was delicious. So while in town I decided to try out this place keep hearing about these types of restaurants opening . Claiming to have amazing biscuits and gravy . So I tried it out and was ok at best had better flavor gravy at some motels , had a very flowery flavor as well as not much sausage flavor. Biscuit when I first saw it I was like oh a canned biscuit by pillsbury looked just like grands the red skin potatoes were over cooked and crunchy . I ate lunch on Sunday, August 9th about 11am with a group total of 6. We shared the lemon berry french toast at the table as an appetizer and it was delicious. There were some tasty items that others at my table received but I ordered the kickin' chicken and when it arrived the chicken was burnt and a few areas were charred. I asked my waitress Camberly for new chicken. Camberly was friendly efficienct and attentive. She returned with additional chicken which was also burnt. I tasted it as well as 2 at my table and we all agreed, it was inedible with burnt flavor. I did not eat it and asked for it to be made right. Whomever Camberly spoke with whether cook or manager, they told us " that was the best that they could do". If this menu item can only be served burnt, then I suggest they remove it from the menu! We paid for the whole ticket and tipped 25% but sent in a comment to the buttered biscuit as to how disappointing the response was to the complaint. I have heard nothing from them. This is poor customer service. I would warn you that if you eat there and have a problem with your meal, they do not respond well. Don't order the kickin' chicken!!! read more

Disappointing. Dish ordered was missing the sausage and the avocado. Replaced with oily crumble of kind of burnt sausage and a cup of brown guacamole instead of fresh avocado. This place is amazing in all aspects! Warm, welcoming servers, inviting decor, and incredible food! When it's brought to your table it looks fresh and delicious, and tastes fantastic. First for me to give a biscuit-themed restaurant four stars is a big thing, I hate biscuits! However, everything else was really good. I often go into breakfast and brunch establishments with very few expectations. You are hoping for a great breakfast and that Sunday mellow vibe. Instead often they are rushed, way too loud and the food is overpriced and about the same stuff I can make at home. I'm told that quality varies from location to location, for example, my son who has been to a few locations claims the cinnamon rolls at others are far larger than this location. If that is the only shortcoming they have almost everything else right. We had a really great waiter, I think he was a manager, he seemed to be trying really hard and knew all the right things to say to keep us happy. However of the five of us in our group, there was something wrong with every order. If it were not for our great waiter it would have left us angry or frustrated but he handled it very well and with great humility. I had the Azetec omlet. It had small bits of meat, chopped bell papers, tomatoes, avocados, and onions. A super good green salsa I wish they sold by the bottle, with cheese and sour cream sauce, and the eggs were just right. My son and I each ordered the corned beef on the side. First, his showed up and it looked great but mine never arrived. We had to ask for it, and it was clear they had forgotten it. So they brought out a rushed dish, half the plate size of my son's and about a quarter of the size of his order and it was undercooked. My son notified the waiter who apologized and someone from the kitchen brought out another plate, still undercooked but both were really good. There were a few other order mistakes but as I said the waiter handled them quickly and without making us feel bad for pointing it out. read more

Went in today and I was instantly seated, the waitress was very attentive, and the biscuits and gravy meal was excellent. Previously this place was hit and miss, but I heard they had new management so I wanted to give it another try. Food was pretty much what I expect from Buttered Biscuit. The only exception is that we ordered the beignets and they came without the sauce and were hard. The service is seriously lacking at this location. We saw our server maybe three times total. The Moberly location in Bentonville is the best for food and service. read more

The waitresses were super nice, and I think we interacted with the owner/manager Tiffany I think? She was so bubbly and fun in describing the food. Joined waiting list for a party of 6 and was advised it would take 20 minutes to get seated. Our party waited over an hour to get seated and that was after checking in with the Hostess 3 times. We kept getting informed it would take an additional 15-20 minutes to get seated. Once seated, we waited over an hour to get our food. When this place opened it was the best breakfast spot in NWA. Since they have been opening more locations the love and focus was lost on this location. We arrived at 8:30 and were immediately seated which was surprising for a Sunday. Our latte arrived after a very long wait there was plenty of staff and about a half full restaurant. My chicken and waffles were served without syrup, and I didn't even notice until half way that the bacon jam never was included. My partner also never got her side of comeback sauce she ordered. It's just unfortunate, we loved this place and the low attention to detail and shotty service have all but left us feeling underdelivered and overcharged. Still left a 15% tip, but their tip machines start at 20%... was very tempted to not leave one but just because the service was bad doesn't mean we shouldn't tip. I spent 60$ on a meal and didn't get satisfactory service had to ask more than twice to be seated and the establishment was half empty had to get my own high chair for my baby and ask for utensils and napkins more than once. forgot some of my items and I had to leave before I was finished because the service was so terrible. read more

We really love Buttered Biscuit in Little Rock and Bentonville, but Springdale is the absolute worst location. I don't mind waiting for a table on a busy Sunday morning, but having to wait over an hour for even an appetizer is absolutely insane. Nobody came to even say anything about the status of our food, and nobody around us got food for an hour either. How does that happen? Don't go to this location. read more

We were told our wait would be twenty minutes, it took us an hour and 15 minutes to be seated and we waited 50 minutes for our food. Our server was nice enough but didn't offer updates or fill our beverages during our wait. We've been several times before at other locations, so when our food did come, the servings were much smaller than what we've gotten in the past. The restaurant was very busy and the staff a bit crazed due to college move-in week, That being said, service was a bit slow at first to take our orders, but attentive once we had our food.
