Just passing through on a road trip - wary because of past review but this place exceeded expectations. The server is so nice and the food is good. The meal was satisfying. It wasn't gourmet, but it was well-prepared and served its purpose for a casual bite in a small town. I would definitely expect a wait, drink some coffee and read a book or chat with a fri. The place is very small and there's only one server and one cook. Aside from that, I like the atmosphere V vintage. Not too loud or overcrowded

Arrived at 1:00 on a Wednesday and we were the only customers there. Our server was kind and attentive. The location is the absolute bests part! Right beside the river in the historic Occidental Hotel. The food was good we tried a little bit of everything on the lunch menu. We will definitely be back. I see a lot of reviews complaining of the time it takes to get the food but we were forewarned that the chicken pot pie would take some time and we had no problem waiting. Fresh made to order food takes time!

    Chicken salad

Good chicken salad, was not expecting to find fresh greens in the salad considering it was February.

Great place, would recommend, food is great the pancakes are very good and the hash browns are cooked to perfection. For lunch, I got the ribs and the hot wings, they are both very good. They serve Pepsi products and their coffee is very delectable. The service was very great and as soon as I had a seat there was my waitress with my menus and a smile on her face! Throughout the time I was there, both waitresses were extremely busy but they still managed to check in on me and other tables . The view of the creek and the the mural were phenomenal. I would 100% recommend this for your next meal in the great Buffalo Wyoming.

    Grilled chicken salad

The wait for food was at least 40 minutes and that was for a grilled chicken salad and 2 sandwiches. The waiter was kind and tried to get our order but struggled with simple questions like do you have Coke or Pepsi products. He smiled and nodded yes. I asked if the baked Mac and cheese had anything added to it like bread crumbs and again smiled and nodded then said cheese, milk noodle. The food wasn't bad just mediocre. They trimmed the fatty pieces from my grilled chicken but left it mixed in the salad. Overpriced as well.

Wow, The Busy Bee blew me away. I didn't have high expectations after seeing some of the reviews, but the half of a turkey sandwich with the cheeseburger soup was great!! The girls waitressing were simply the best, they made a very welcoming environment and were extremely attentive. The vanity was gorgeous, the stained glass gave it a beautiful vintage look. The natural lighting from the open windows was breathtaking. I loved it so much, and would come back again in the future!

    "Didn't have enough mugs....... ok"

This place is seriously awful. We walked in at 10 am, hoping to eat and get on the road. We never got menus, we had to go and get one ourselves. We got asked what we want to drink and eat 25 minutes into sitting there, nobody had even said anything to us. It's appalling there is no communication and the people working here seem like they never have worked here before. Finally an hour later we receive our food. After 4 other people who came in after us got food and drinks, we finally got fed. The food was pretty ok. I expected worse. Y'all need to seriously learn how to work a restaurant, cause winging it like you are just ain't it. Two gals were in here sitting for an hour and they NEVER got the food, the older lady came out and said that the waitress thought they left???? what?? Ok she brought me a mug now. Too bad it's dirty....

a coffee cup with a bee on it

Breakfast was very good. Fresh eggs and tasty pancakes. My friend enjoyed his ba on and hash browns. Local clientele seemed happy, we were as well. Friendly staff.

Coffee bar and big old register!

Quick service and homemade biscuits. Sausage patties and breakfast potatoes- yum! Friendly atmosphere with all the locals who call the staff by name...

This place was disappointing. The staff was friendly however it seem to be that there is only two people working for the whole restaurant. The food was extremely overpriced and bland! I get it they are one of the only few places that serve breakfast but still. Will not be coming back and would recommend to anyone.

While planning our recent road trip, we were very delighted to discover The Wild Rose Tearoom in Buffalo, Wyoming so of course we immediately booked an afternoon tea reservation! Proprietor, Certified Tea Sommelier and Certified Tea Health Expert, Ms. Sharon Smallwood, and Retail Manager, Ms. Ronda Mathewson, elegantly presented us with the most amazing afternoon tea experience, surpassing that served at The Ritz Hotel in London! Very flavorful recipes were all created from scratch, incorporating herbs and vegetables grown in their lovely garden, along with numerous tea offerings which you will find in their beautiful tea vault, historically used as an actual bank vault, expertly paired with each delicious, tiered course. Scones are served with accompaniments such as "Buffaloshire Cream," a clever take on Devonshire Cream. After all, The Wild Rose Tearoom is located in Buffalo, Wyoming! Sharon was inspired by her mother, Charlee Sue, who collected Tea Time and Victoria magazines, to obtain her tea certifications and eventually acquired The Wild Rose Tearoom in 2022. Sharon and Ronda enjoy gaining inspiration from the recipes published in the magazines such as Sharon's rendition of the delectable Fig, Pancetta and Blue Cheese Savory Tartlets (Tea Time September/October 2024) and Ronda's interpretation of the Lemon Blueberry Layer Cake (Tea Time March/April 2024). Take a look at page 9 of Tea Time July/August 2024 for a beautiful photo of Ronda proudly displaying her cake! In addition to afternoon tea by reservation, The Wild Rose Tearoom offers cream teas anytime, premium loose-leaf teas in the tea vault, tea accessories, books, apothecary herbs, a tea bar and Boba! You can even wear one of their many gorgeous hats that are on display while enjoying your tea experience with antique china! It's so much fun! All tea enthusiasts must visit The Wild Rose Tearoom, which most certainly is "The Best Little Tearoom in the West Where Memories Blossom!" What a very special treat! Thank you, Sharon and Ronda, for truly a wonderful experience that we will forever treasure!
