They have a few nice craft beers on tap and the most amazing hummus platter ever. So many places give you a tiny dollop of hummus, a few crackers and if you're lucky a few cut up carrots. Not here, you get a giant amount of hummus - you get house made lavash - and you get beautiful baby medium sized carrots and all of that is only $8 on happy hour. The hummus is very flavorful with a tiny kick and the lavash is super crunchy with an amazing seasoning on it that reminds me of "everything bagel seasoning". You'll see two different pictures - these were taken a year or more apart but you can see things have barely changed. You always get the amazing crackers and carrots and a huge amount of hummus. They also have a few great wines by the glass on happy hour, some yummy sliders, and now a pepperoni pizza that looks awesome but I haven't tried yet.

Other than that, the food was great. I sampled a few items of the apps that people ordered. From what I can remember, the truffle fries really stood out. For my entree, I got the chopped elk medium cooked. It was fantastic. Very delicious and almost tasted like a really beefy meatloaf. Not gamey at all. The sauce drizzled on it was so savory. I wished there were more mashed potatoes underneath because those were amazing too. It was also a very big portion. Definitely recommend. Would come back again and try something else or even order that again.

The service was attentive, and the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with an authentic feel and a very inviting atmosphere. I ordered the curry ramen, spring rolls, crispy sweet chili wings, chicken fried rice, and a Nigori flight. The spring rolls were honestly the best part of the meal, crispy, flavorful, and fresh. I also really enjoyed the Nigori flight. The ramen, however, was a bit bland and did not have the rich flavors I usually expect. The wings were a little too sweet and not as crispy as I hoped, and the chicken in the fried rice had a slightly burnt taste, although the rice itself was good. They do have an extensive menu, so I would possibly come back and try something different another time, but this visit just wasn't the best fit for me food-wise.

It was lacking in flavor as if it had no salt or seasoning on it and the fries were soggy and rubbery at the same time with no flavor. The good thing is there's plenty of free parking, which makes visiting super convenient. I'm a Wine Club member, which is definitely worth it if you go often. Members receive two bottles of wine and two tastings each month, and there are three different membership tiers depending on how much wine you want. The club also comes with a lot of extra perks, which makes the experience even better. My coworker and I recently decided to go for happy hour (Monday-Friday from 3:00-5:30 PM). Since we're both wine club members, we wanted to do our wine tasting before our dinner reservation. I definitely recommend getting there earlier in the afternoon if you plan to taste. We arrived around 2 PM, and the tasting area wasn't packed yet, which made the experience much more enjoyable. If you plan to do the tasting, I suggest setting aside about an hour so you can really enjoy it without feeling rushed. After our tasting, we headed to our table for our reservation and ordered a few items from the happy hour menu while continuing the wine fun. One thing we learned for next time: the sangria flight during happy hour is only $17, and it's perfect for sharing especially after you've already done a full tasting! Overall, Cooper's Hawk is a great spot for gatherings, date nights, or even meeting up with coworkers for happy hour. The atmosphere is lively, the wine selection is great, and the wine club perks make the experience even more fun.

When we arrived (7:30ish) it was incredibly loud and the lights were so dim that we struggled to read the menu without an iPhone light. After drinks were ordered, the lights magically came on and the sound level came down. Woohoo. Would I go back - definitely. But only for the food.

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.
