Always great tacos and great horchata! I like that they decorated the little area by their truck, gives that fun last minute food stop vibe, I always get their Al pastor and it's always great! Fantastic prices too

Estilo Casero is a food truck that offers tacos and other Mexican style foods and is located next to Econ River High School in the parking lot of the strip mall where the Lake Jem Farms, the ARFordable Pet Grooming shop, etc. is located. Basically, it is at the intersection of East Colonial Drive and Pebble Beach Boulevard on the east side of Orlando. The truck faces towards the high school, probably not a bad idea when school gets out, I am sure those hungry kids line up. I was here on a Saturday afternoon, so there was no horde of starving teenagers clamoring for a taco, there were however a few people ahead of me in line. When I placed my order, I kept it relatively straightforward and simple, one carne asada taco, one carnitas taco and a chorizo sope. I was told that it woukd be about ten minutes from a friendly person manning the good truck's window. Just to give you an idea of the price point, the tacos were two dollars apiece and the sopes are two dollars and fifty cents. Not a bad price point. True to her word, my tacos and sope were ready in about ten minutes. There is no place to sit down, so I took it to my car. This is not the first time that I had a meal in my car, nor will it be the last. Not a big deal for me, but I do want to advise you of this in case it matters to you. I first tore into the sope. It was pretty good, though I thought that the chorizo was a bit underseasoned. As a whole though, the sope was very enjoyable and a solid deal at the price. Next up were the tacos. They were decent, though I have had better. Between the carnitas and carne asada, I preferred the carne asada. In fact, I think the carne asada shined the brightest out of the three meats that I tried. The tacos also had a shredded cabbage and tomato salad that was a nice refreshing and acidic bite. Both the sope and taco came with both a green and red sauce. While both were good, the green sauce was pretty amazing. All in all, Estilo Casero is a good choice for tacos. I must say that I am envious of the kids who go to high school at Econ River High School. How cool would it have been to have a taco truck just outside your high school? If more high schools had taco trucks outside their doors throughout the decades, Brownsville Station might have had different lyrics to their 1973 sing "Smokin' in the Boys Room." That classic song might very well have been called "Hangin' at the Taco Truck" (admit it, you just sang those words to see if it fit). I would give it my recommendation and I will return. Maybe next I will try a burrito.

Decided to stop by here after being curious about it for quite a while! I got a chorizo and al pastor taco as well as one birria taco. All 3 were delicious and authentic but my favorite was definitely the chorizo. Topped with green sauce and lime, it just hit the spot: simple but delicious. As for the birria and consome, I also loved it. The taco was cheesy, juicy, with the taco shell a little crispy, and the consome even had bits of meat at the bottom. It would be nice if the tacos were served with 2 tortillas like I'm used to, that way all the pieces that fall out can be caught in an extra shell but no biggie; I'll be back when the next taco craving hits

In my opinion, this is the best among the three other taco trucks I've tried on Colonial. I appreciate their generous serving of pickled cabbage, which is always fresh and crispy. The sauce is just perfect, not too spicy for my taste. The meat is bursting with flavor, which makes each bite truly delightful. The service is quick excellent and they are always happy to take my order over the phone, which is ready when I arrive. The truck also has a nice grass area with a large cement slab where I can enjoy my meal, unless the weather is bad, in which case I sit in my car and savor my food while listening to my favorite music. I also get to spend time with my fur baby-SantaPaw, which makes the experience even better. I highly recommend this taco truck to anyone who wants to experience the authentic taste of street tacos. What's more, each taco costs only $2.50, so my meal is always under $10. I usually get the Pastor, Asada, and Carnita tacos, and they are always delicious.

Found this brand new Food Truck on the way home. Let me start by saying that the owners are very courteous and humble. Like anything they are just starting their business so they are in the trial stage to see what works. We order a variety of items, the tacos al pastor (tortilla was homemade) al pastor needed some additional seasoning and the pineapple. The Carnitas sope oh my it was a delight of a bite for the nite. The gorditas were from shredded beef( the flavor of the beef was amazing) want to return to tried the flautas and enchiladas. The owner gave us a sample of the picadillo gordita which was very good. Give them a tried when you are in the area

Definitely good tacos here coming back for more everything is fresh and the employees are very kind highly recommended!!!

One of the best authentic Mexican food I've had in Orlando. The meat if flavored and cooked to perfection, the even sell the cokes in the glass bottles.

This is a fun food truck pod! We attended for the first time last night, the evening started out…read morerainy, but as us Floridians know...rain usually moves through the area quickly and it did last night. As the event is located on the back of Oviedo Marketplace, by Chamberlains and the Regal theaters, there was plenty of parking near the trucks. Bring your own tables, chairs, tailgating canopies or umbrellas to shade from the sun- as there is no shade. People had their areas set up near their cars, much like tailgating at a football game. The event was well attended, very crowded after the rain stopped. Saw singles, families, large groups and people of all ages. While most trucks still are cash only, I'm seeing more of the iPad credit card readers with the trucks. Still always best to show up with cash. Gastro Truck, Big Wheel, Yum Yum, Melissa's chicken and waffles, The Batter Bowl, Treehouse truck, Crooked spoon, Korean Taco Truck, Crepe lady, C&S Brisket, Firehouse BBQ, Gator BBQ, Traveling Gourmet, Mama's soul food, CK Jerk Shack Gourmet Island BBQ,Tastebuds-Catering and more were there. Notable missing: Winter Park Fish Co., Monsta Lobsta There were about 15-20 food trucks in attendance, all of the most popular trucks were out in force and a few that were new to me were out. Mama's soul food truck would be one of those trucks. Great menu, we swung by for the dessert of 3 tier red velvet cake, but there was everything from Fried chicken, ribs, fried catfish, you name it. (Menu pic posted). The service was super friendly and the food portions coming out were HUGE and a great deal for the prices charged. My red velvet cake was a nice slice, cake was moist and cooked well. The Cream cheese frosting was a sweeter cream cheese, a bit sweet for my taste, but the white chocolate chips studded on the frosting was a yummy touch. The Batter Bowl- We tried the goat cheese Triple Chocolate Ghirardelli brownie. The brownie was nice and moist, more cake-like and much less chocolatey than I was expecting. The goat cheese based mixture was swirled on top like a cheesecake layer and tasted like cream cheese- it was missing a goaty tang but was tasty. For those that aren't fans of goat cheese, don't be afraid to try this. Good price for $2.50. Big Wheel was offering fried artichokes, which were good and not at all greasy. However, they would be much tastier if the whole artichoke hearts were sliced in half so the inside benefited from the Parmesan cheese, truffle oil and chili flakes they were tossed in. When you bit into the whole fried artichoke heart, the primary taste was steamed canned artichoke hearts. Hubby enjoyed the chicken skewer, which was hoisin flavored last night. Very tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. C&S brisket truck- Hubby went for the Brisket sandwich and said the Brisket was very tender but lacked flavor, this was the general consensus from the group that tried the large sandwich. Nice deal, $8 for a whole sandwich served on Texas toast or $6 for a half. The Rachel and Reubens coming out where huge and getting raves from those around. Hubby was bummed he didn't go that direction and will check them out next time. I didn't get the name of the Latin food truck we stopped at, friends ordered fried plantains (tostones) topped with Ropa Vieja (Braised shredded beef) and raved about the flavors.....so much so that they went back for a second order. They also ordered the shrimp quesadilla that they said was good and some Venezuelan cheese sticks, which I tried. The cheese sticks started with a mild, white cheese similar to provolone and had whole wheat dough wrapped around the cheese. It was fried and served with a creamy cilantro sauce on the side. The cheese sticks were not at all greasy, quite yummy and I would order again. Longest lines: Yum Yum cupcake truck, Melissa's chicken and waffles, Crooked Spoon, Treehouse truck and Crepe Lady. Longest wait would probably go to Melissa's Chicken and waffles- my friends stood in the Melissa's chicken and waffle truck for 45+ minutes and the end of the line was still 3 trucks down when we left. They were cranking, but should look into getting another double sided waffle maker going for large events. Yum Yum opened a second window and started cranking people through quickly, so fear not if you see a long line. :) Our group had hoped Monsta Lobsta would be there, when I posted a question on their FB page, they were out of town for the weekend. Hopefully, they will be at the next Oviedo Bazaar. This was a fun event that we'll be back for!

Set in a back parking lot of the Oviedo Market Place, this event garnered some attention…read more Although, the crowd was not as huge as the Orlando Food Truck Bazaar at Fashion Square mall neither was it small like the Food Truck Pod Cafe at Lake Lilly. There were two trucks that always has a line anywhere else but had the shortest non existent line here, Pupusas and Arepas El Cacao. Sad. Too ethnic for the delicate palates of the fine people from Oviedo? There were no directional signs neither restrooms for the event. But the music was blasting away. The music at Lake Lilly tends to be a little too loud and it is hard to communicate with the food truck vendors. However, the noise level here was okay. Maybe it was the wide open parking lot. There was ample room between trucks and trash cans were easily identifiable. Nice event, nice crowd, good location.

The restaurant is small but they do have tables inside and a few outside. It's a quick serve restaurant so you just walk right up and they bring the food out to you. Taco Tuesday is popular here! They have tacos for only $1.50-$2. I've had both the ground beef and chicken pastor. Both delicious and the taco shells are crispy and taste freshly fried! I've also had the birria tacos. Sooooo good. Ask for some of their different hot sauces to complement your meal, although you don't necessarily need them! Finally, be sure to try one of their agua fresca beverages. I tried hibiscus! It's a little pricey at $5 but is refreshing and something I wouldn't normally get. I'll say yes to tacos anytime, and I would say absolutely yes to coming to Senor Taco again!
