The vibe here is a 50's burger and shakes type of place. They have indoor dining and a drive-thru; we chose the drive-thru option. The menu is classic burgers, fries, shakes, along with fish n chips, fried shrimp, and a fried fish sandwich. We ordered two cheese burgers, a double jalapeno burger, mozzarella sticks, and two sundaes. Everything is made fresh to order, so you might be waiting, but it's totally worth it! My burger had two huge patties, bacon, cheese, and tons of jalapenos. I just got the burger, no combo, and it was stuffed! My son loved his burger and devoured it. Stated it was the best burger he's had. My wife loved her burger as well and we both loved the mozzarella sticks. The burger combos came with fries and a drink. Their fries here are very good. They add a spiced seasoning to the fries that boosts the flavor without being too salty. The sundaes were a great way to end the meal and the ice cream tasted like real slow churned ice cream. The next time you pass by Sam's Burger, do yourself a favor and grab a burger for the road!

The man that took our food order was very nice and helpful. It was so good I ate it two days in a row. Being a lover of hamburgers is what I pride myself with being able to spot a great burger and they did their job. Make sure you upside the fries because the size that come with it in my eyes aren't enough but I'm a fry lover. The ambiance is an average burger joint in Cali nothing special but I will say it was clean outside and in. When in Fresno I will make sure to come back in and order what I will call my usual. My double burger with added grilled onions and extra pickles fully dressed hold the cheese please lol.

I also got to try their mango milk shake and omg , super creamy and the mango flavor really shines. I also got their Biscoff milk shake and it tastes just like the cookie. Both milk shake were THICK! What's even better is that the burger is so damn tasty. Spoiler alert - they add thousand island to your burger so if you don't like that you may want to say no sauce on your burger. The burger comes standard with lettuce , tomato, onion , and pickles. I don't like pickles or onions so I get mine without. The burger is fresh, the cheese is tasty and the bun holds up nicely. I wouldn't change a thing on these burgers. Similar to In -n- out , but more tasty and the patties are bigger! The fries were a little under seasoned , but I do love a crinkle fry. The onion rings were crispy, seasoned perfectly and went well with the ranch or ketchup. I love this place. It is one of those spots that is good but doesn't act like it. The food is delicious and the value is tremendous. I might even take my teenagers here next time. They sure can eat a ton! Do yourself a favor and try this place out. Every other combo meal from anywhere else won't stack up - I guarantee it!

I was proven wrong today when I finally went to try it. The burgers were big and filled! Like, no empty spaces, every bite perfection (unlike typical burger places). Also, the prices felt worth it after seeing the actual food. The beef patties are never frozen according to their advertising and they tasted fresh and juicy. I was very impressed with the quality and the flavor. I ordered the western burger and my husband ordered the pastrami burger. They were both out of this world delicious. We also ordered the chicken strip which was crispy and seasoned well and we also ordered the fried mushrooms which were also crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Additionally!!! They had a sign in the drive through that said Free Pupcups, and since we had our dog with us, we asked to get one. They have peanut butter or bacon flavored whipped cream with a animal cookie safe for dogs. I dipped my finger in the whip cream to try it and it was not sweet at all which I was very happy about to give to my dog. As if that wasn't enough, the lady at the drive through even gave us a second cup with 3 additional animal cookie dog treats! This experience was so satisfying that we have decided to come here next time we are craving burgers. The staff was so generous and friendly & the food was amazing and yummy. Even the drive through menu was organized neatly for easy ordering. Never again will we go to McDonald's or Burger King because this place has better food for the same price.
