Fried ravioli with marinara! Plus Buck burger with hand sliced chips.

Went for happy hour with a buddy and decided to stay closer to home... Havent been to the buck in a while so we both decided, why not!! - since we both lived in the area. We were really happy with the quality of the food. Despite it being happy hour pub food...we were very impressed. The burger was juicy and huge! The side hand sliced chips were crispy and freshly made. Not too oily and greasy. The wings were hot, spicy, and garlicky! The fish tacos tasted fresh and were done right. The beer was cold and came in 9-12oz...really there was nothing to complain about. Service was with a smile, story, care, and no pressure attitude. We were always attended to and made to feel really welcome. Im happy to have a pub like this just in my hood. I literally walked like 7mins to get here. No need to drive so it means i can have 3 pints. Lol. Love it!!

Have not been to the buck since Ken the waiter and Bayla the head chef both left. I'll have to stop by for old time sake.

Love the staff but the food is sub par. Their happy hour is now 5 oz wine instead of 6 oz too.

The Buck's menu is becoming very limited. The Caesar salad came without croutons or garlic bread and the beer was only warm. Disappointing.

They seated us in the covered patio area which was nice as it's brighter, but it was quite loud and a bit stuffy. Windows don't stay open but honestly you don't want them to as the planes can get quite loud. Service was good and food came out very promptly; servings were good and flavours were good. Would come back again. Note they have overflow parking across the street!

TL/DR : Fair prices. Very, very generous portions. 10/10 , WILL return…read more This will be a very hard review to do on my part. It's so good, I don't want others to know about this restaurant, but that's not fair to the excellent staff and restaurant. It does breakfasts and lunch/dinner. 4 of us went to lunch. The Ladies shared the calamari appetizer (good portion, with a nice sauce, don't worry about the jalapeño peppers) and the guys had the potato skins with bacon (10+ pieces, none of that 4 or 6 pieces) Lunch was Mussels (a huge plate of shells once SWMBO finished), my love had the seafood salad sandwich (with a Caesar salad which we took home). ETB had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and I had the cheeseburger with bacon added (and fries). Portions are very, very generous. Prices are "current" environment ( not high, not cheap eg. The cheeseburger with bacon and fries $22). Scenery is interesting as it's the Harbour Air terminal right on the Fraser river at YVR Airport South. Parking at the site is small but across the road is 3 hour parking that's free.

Also, it's a good idea to come after a hearty meal to fully appreciate the alcohol. As you step into this bar from the bustling streets of Vancouver, you're instantly transported to a humid, tropical paradise. The theme is all around you, and you're suddenly in Hawaii, ready to order a mai tai. We began with the mystery bowl, and each bowl comes with its own unique song and flair, making it a fun experience. Whether it's the fire, the smoke show, or the lights flashing in the background as everyone turns to see what you've ordered, it's all part of the show. Besides the bowls, be sure to order your own drinks, as they have something for everyone. Their menu is easy to read, so you can already picture the drink you're about to enjoy. Overall, this is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion with their whimsical drinks.
