I've had their milkshake only at my first visit which was so excellent; thick and creamy and oh-so-delicious, I was really looking forward to trying out the food. We ordered chicken strip meal, lamb burger set with onion rings, and a falafel burger (daily special size) meal. The food was generally good, but I didn't love how messy both lamb and falafel burgers were. My falafel burger was little too crumbly which made it difficult to eat and the lamb burger was not as juicy as I read in other review. It did have a TON of sauce on it which made the burger a little too salty for our palate. The chicken strips were also on the dry side. I love supporting local, small businesses so we'd likely come back to try their very good daily special and milkshakes. For now, I'll say there is definitely some room for improvement here.

The service was also very good and friendly, making this place repeatable. It's easy to see why my cousins are regulars. Check out Kong! Burgers at 91 Rylander Blvd in Scarborough!

The breading is also nice as it's not too heavy. We got the Nashville Hot Sandwich (mild) combo and the price is not bad at all for the amount of meat you get. The sauce it came with was tasty, and so were the the fries. We asked for mayo and were given a side container of it even though they didn't have packaged mayo. There are only 4 high stools by the window in terms of seating, so it's more of a takeout place. I will definitely be returning as I'm already craving it again!

I visited on a weekend afternoon, a decent amount of people coming in and out. OG Fried Chicken Sandwich: The wait was around 8-10 mins which I didn't mind especially for fresh hot fried chicken sandwich. The fried chicken sandwich was piping hot, very large chicken portions compared to other chicken places. Overall, I had a great experience at Birdies. The spot is more of a takeout type of place with very limited seating. Highly recommend supporting this small local business, truly a gem in the area!

Halal Pretty interesting menu. The place has like three…read morerestaurants in one. Smokey Sams, Karak and Oklahoma Burgers. Basically it's one place, kind of semi fine dining looking, and then three menus are given to you. I ordered the Unicord (typo?) Tea/Chai from Karak and the smoked chicken rice balls from Smokey Sam's and the Dbl Oklahoma from Oklahoma burgers. The Unicorn or unicord tea was pretty interesting. It's blue which looks nice and it has like a fruity herbal taste with lemony notes. The smoked chicken rice balls is a good concept but the way they coated it, it was extra oily and thin and crispy and extremely burnt. We had to give it back and tell them to take it off the bill. I wouldn't recommend it until they figure out a way to fry it properly so it doesn't get burned. You will see what I mean in the photos. The whole exterior is burnt black. The dill pickle fries were nice. It was lightly coated in some kind of dill pickle seasoning. The serving was a little bit small for the $6 charge but still it was nice for a change. The Oklahoma Burger was surprisingly good. The caramelized onions and the burger patty itself was very tasty. I would recommend it. So if you're looking for Oklahoma Burger, you will find it inside the Smoky Sam's. I think they need to work on their signage because otherwise I would not have found it. We were going to go inside and ask for where Oklahoma Burger is. Bathroom is nice and clean. Kudos to the bathrooms clearly separated by sex.

They're made fresh with a perfectly crispy exterior and filled with tender, fatty, super flavorful pork. For the price, it's unbeatable. The fries are crispy on their own, but once they're shaken with the seasoning, they're even better. The Plum Fizz tastes like the "healthy" juice your mom forced you to drink as a kid, but upgraded and actually delicious. The carbonation makes it extra refreshing, and as an adult, I fully embrace my love for plum juice now. Overall, it's the kind of fast food that makes the wait totally worth it.

It's kind of a funny story how I discovered Burger Park. I was driving on the highway one day,…read morespotted their giant sign, and thought, what is that? I remembered to look it up later and immediately bookmarked it. It was definitely giving Shake Shack vibes from the photos. I came with a friend around 6 pm, and parking was surprisingly easy thanks to the adjacent garage. They validate for 2 hours, which honestly makes a huge difference and would've otherwise been a deterrent. The space itself is cute and minimal, with a clean, modern feel. We ordered two double patty Park Burgers, a blueberry spice fruit shake, a strawberry sherbet fruit shake, and a regular fry with their house-made sauce. This meal was nearly perfect. The burgers were tender and juicy, with beautifully crisp edges on the smashed patties. Everything came out at the perfect temperature. I went with the default toppings, which were fresh, well-balanced, and generously portioned. The bun was soft and held everything together nicely. The fries were a pleasant surprise. I'm not usually a crinkle-cut fan, but these were crispy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the delicious mayo-based sauce. The fruit shakes were probably my least favorite part. I was expecting something brighter and more tangy, but they leaned more mild in flavor. That said, the icy consistency was refreshing and would hit the spot on a hot day. I noticed they also offer cookies, which I didn't get to try but looked very promising. The place was quite busy, with a steady flow of dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders, but the service still stood out. We hadn't realized they use peanut oil, which was a concern since my friend has an allergy. The staff were very helpful, reassuring us that the burgers are grilled separately and even going the extra step to confirm the fries are cooked in sunflower oil. My friend was able to enjoy them without any issues, which we really appreciated. Overall, it's a bit out of the way for me, but absolutely worth the trip. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.
