I saw a giant sign at the door advertising their veggie special on their not so secret menu! As usual I had to check it out. Well to be clear this isn't a burger. So don't expect a beyond or impossible patty. Still delicious. I love their sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions. Their fries are one of the best I've ever had. Amazing and friendly service. Check out their patio if the weather permits. Overall I'm satisfied and glad to see more veggie options available. read more

This was my fist time at Fresh Burger. I skipped the Five Guys down the road and went for the Canadian option instead. I got Combo 1 - burger, fries, pop. The burger was tasty! Nice crunchy edges to the beef patty. Fries were crisp. I'd definitely have another Fresh Burger again. Having said that, the place felt dirty. For instance, their card machine was filthy, and it made me wonder about what else they were neglecting around sanitation at this particular restaurant. read more

Overall an above decent place for a burger. Everything is no frills/takeout but they cook the burgers from freshly ground and they are tasty. The fries are fresh cut too. The presentation is clean and easy to eat on the go. The only caveat is a less than enthused staff that didn't care to really explain their options to me. Though ultimately they were polite and quick. Nice patio too. I would return. read more

Got a burger late night a few days back, couldn't sleep the entire night. Nothing was fresh about it. Soggy fries and most defiantly NOT a fresh patty. Only thing fresh in the burger was lettuce. Absolutely garbage for a 20 dollars meal. read more

I love a good burger and Fresh Burger certainly delivered with a juicy cheeseburger and fries. They're located on Yonge, north of Sheppard, on a corner, allowing them to have a decent sized patio. It wasn't busy when I went so social distancing was easy to observe. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink. It was dressed with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and FreshBurger sauce, and was moist, juicy, and delicious! I had burger juice running down my arms! The fries were nice and crispy, making this a pretty good combo. I would definitely come back! read more

I've been to the Markham location before and after this Fresh Burger took over my favourite Indonesian restaurant in the neighbourhood, I was reluctant to try it. I'm glad I finally came to check it out! Fresh Burger is known for their fresh meat. When they first opened in Markham, they introduced the primeburger and my brother demanded them to keep it on the menu and they did! The Primeburger is super meaty and juicy. It will overpower most flavours. My friend order the double with bacon and couldn't taste the bacon at all. I recommend sticking with the single patty Primeburger. The double was too thick and sloppy. The Primeburger is perfect. Back in the Markham location, the value was teetering on "not worth it" because the patty was so small. The north york location's patties seem twice as big! Big, thick, and juicy.. Totally worth it. I'm not sure if they changed it for Markham as well or not. If you're going to have a burger in the Yonge and Sheppard area, this will be the best you can get IMO. Tell them Charles sent you. You'll get no special treatment and confused looks. read more

For someone who isn't a fan of burgers, this was pretty good! I like how they toasted the buns so it has a light crunch to it. The patty was also really juicy. The poutine had a great amount of cheese curd and gravy. We ordered via their website for pick up and it was a seamless process. read more

I dropped by Fresh Burger and ordered the Combo #4. The dining area was pretty small and dirty. Service was slow since it took 15 minutes to get my food. The fries were okay, but the hamburger was kind of bland. For the price I paid, I would have rather gone to Wendy's up the street. read more

Fresh Burger is a no-frills burger joint that's better than the nearby McDonald's/Wendy's (expected) and Five Guys (unexpected). This location near Yonge and Sheppard is no-frills as well, with a simple menu and sitting capacity for maybe 10 people. Given it was my first time at Fresh, I got one of their freshburger combos: a 4oz single patty burger with lettuce/tomato/sauce/cheese (to which I added cheddar cheese and mushrooms), poutine (upgraded from fries), and a drink. The burger patty was tasty and properly greasy, the bun was firm enough, and while they were skimpy with the mushrooms, they were generous with the cheese. This 'generosity' extended to the poutine, which they basically drowned in soooo much gravy sauce (not a good thing for me but others may like it since the gravy was tasty enough). Thankfully, the fries weren't overly soggy because of this, and the cheese curds, while not squeaky, were gooey enough to satisfy. My main disappointment was with the price. This combo (with uogrades) cost me $17, which is cheaper than the high-end burger places for sure, but not as cheap as I thought it would be based on the raving reviews I've read. That said, I'd still recommend coming to Fresh Burger. Sure, it's no-frills and more a takeout than dining spot. But it just might be the best taste-and-value-for-money burger in the area. read more

Solid spot for burgers. It's relatively cheap and is your typically basic burger spot, nothing fancy but burgers are great. Tried the double fresh burger, which is basically a 2 patty cheeseburger. The meat was juicy but not overly greasy. I also tried the California Fries. I'm not a fan of this as i felt it was a little too sweet. It's fries topped with caramelized onions, melted cheese and their burger sauce. read more

Fresh Burger - Double Fresh Burger - Burgers Near Me - Toronto, Ontario

Fresh burger is a prime example of don't judge a book by its cover. I've always known about Fresh Burger, however I've always hesitated going in due to its not so appealing exterior. Since it opened I've always waited to see if it would receive decent reviews. Although as time passed I saw positive reviews on Yelp but I would still be too lazy to go in because I saw angus burger and I was afraid it would be one of those thick juicy burgers. Don't get me wrong, I love me a thick burger but I'd take a smash burger over pub style burgers any day. Today I passed by and I saw a huge lineup so I decided maybes the day I try it. I am very glad that I decided to try it. The burger uses a soft bun, when you bite into the burger the bun seems to disappear. There's a really really nice textural difference. The burger is distinct with its layers. The beef patty has a crispy exterior but still juicy interior. I tried a bit of the patty by itself and it would really please ASMR muhkbang for that kronch. And they really don't skimp on the tomato. They use an appropriate size tomato slice where you can actually taste the juice of the tomato. That acidity really helps to cut the greasiness of the burger as well as the lettuce adds a nice freshness. Sauce was a mayo based sauce, wasn't too mind blown by it. But overall really solid burger, 4/5. read more

This is a small location in North York. Not that much space for dine in. But since the pandemic it's only take out anyway. We've gotten take out from here twice now. The burgers are decent & the fries are good as well. If you like your burgers well done you will have to make that request. Otherwise they will cook them medium rare. Second time I got a burger here I asked for carmelized onions & mushrooms. I liked the mushrooms. But it tasted like they put sugar in with the carmelized onions. It's not a taste I like so I won't be asking for carmelized onions again. Service was good. They cooked the food quickly & efficiently. They were also friendly. The prices for the burger & fries are good too. I'd come back here to have a burger again. read more

If you want a classic burger with fries and soda, this is just the place for you! I ordered the fresh burger combo for lunch. I generally prefer chicken sandwiches, but I really liked their beef patty. It tasted great with fresh lettuce, tomato, cheese, and burger sauce and was also reasonably priced. The fries were thick and they were generous with the quantity. I wanted to try their California priced but I was afraid they'll become soggy since I was ordering. Would love to visit the place someday! read more

We came here 15 mins before closing (9:45pm) and to be completely honest we were IMPRESSED. I ordered combo number one, the burger itself was so fresh, so juicy like it just melted into your mouth. I felt good after eating it too. You know sometimes eating a big burger like that you feel like shit after? Or just full blown food coma? NOT THIS PLACE! I didn't feel bloated or gross. Tbh i dunno if I was just starving or what but I coulda ate two of them burgers. I highlllllyyyyy recommend you try this place! 10/10 read more

Been to their other locations a bunch of times and happy to see them open a location here. The chain offers arguably one of the best burgers in Toronto and automatically is the best burger in the area. Don't come here expecting anything fancy or over the top. It's just a simple tasty burger. The regular burger is good but the prime burger is really where it's at. I can't recommend it enough but you don't have to take my word for it™. read more

Tried this place for the first time today for lunch. Overall I found it okay, but there're things I don't enjoy, though it could just be personal taste. The menu is simple, 4 difference sizes of burger by themselves or in a combo. I got the smallest 4oz Freshburger. I'm trying to have a cleaner diet so I opted for no cheese and no burger sauce (I know this sounds strange...), but at the same time I'm a big fan for veggie toppings so I added mushroom and caramelized onion...sounds like it's going to be a bland burger right? But it's actually not, keep reading :P Got my burger in between 5-10 minutes. The patty is decent, not dry. Topping has sufficient flavor that I don't feel the need of any extra sauce or seasoning...seems alright. However, I'm not sure if it's from the onion or mushroom topping or something else, the burger kept dripping liquid and I was suspecting that was some excess cooking oil...since the burger indeed tasted a bit too oily to my liking. Maybe I'll still try it again without extra topping and see how it goes. read more

Best burger in the GTA! I am really picky when it comes to quality . Fresh Burger @ 5025 Yonge St North York is the best !

Tried this place for the first time today and was very happy with the food and the service. Im glad to have a place like this in the neighborhood and will definitely be supporting it. Another review suggested I get the prime burger and I'm happy I did. I added bacon as well. The burger was great. The patty was obviously homemade and juicy and seasoned well, the bun and toppings were very fresh. I also upgraded to poutine which was also really good. Quality cheese curds and good fries and gravy. I found out that this is actually another location of an already established place that has good reviews as well. Worth a try! read more

Good burgers when made well but recently the quality has gone down depending on what staff are working. Out of the last 3 times I went, only once was the burger cooked correctly. They seem to either burn the patty or bun more often than not. read more

alright y'all. hear us out. this burger joint. is pushin' (if that emoji doesn't show, well...what's understood doesn't need to be exlained). let's start off with the customer service. we called to inquire about parking (pree my tips) and the man at the end of the other line was so welcoming and joyful that it basically sold us on making a u-oui back to feast. now, when i tell you this this guy was such a pleasant surprise, it's not cap. his name is ali and he owns the joint with his brother. he not only enhanced our overall experience but he really created such a great environment for all of his customers. now, the main attraction. we start with fries, y'all know that by now. the cali fries. y'all. you neeeed to secure that bag. that combination of caramelized onion, melted cheese andddd their secret sauce is so addicting. it's sweet, with a hint of tanginess, sooo cheesy and crisp. it's fresh alright. the bruger. see i cant even type. the burger. fresh was the perfect word. like their branding is ittt. the meat was moist and cooked exceptionally. the toppings were fresh. the sauces were fresh. their bun was toasty and toasted well. a lil crunch but not hard nor soft. and obvs like gotta have another shoutout to their homemade in house burger sauce cuz that shii slapppsss. ok, im hyping it up for good reason because after fast food burgers you may feel kinda like. bleh. but with these, nah son. you feel...fresh. if im wrong, @ me. read more

I got Combo #1 at Fresh Burger today, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was fresh, the fries were great (not your typical fast food shoestring) and the service was friendly. It's definitely slower than a fast food restaurant, but I guess you can't really have fresh, well made AND fast. The price is a bit higher than I would like to pay for a burger like this, but since there are slim burger pickings in the area (aside from Wendy's and McDonald's), I'll be back. Also, ask for the loyalty card when you go, and soon enough you'll be reaping the rewards of free burgers! read more
