I would definitely go back to try more things on the menu.

Went because of the great reviews, left because of the service. Just an awful experience overall,…read moreand honestly the worst service we had during our entire week in Colorado. We were looking for a quick bite in Golden and unfortunately ended up at Miners Saloon. After seating ourselves, our server took his sweet time making his way over. We ordered the charcuterie board and the whipped ricotta, the former wildly overpriced. The charcuterie board was fine, nothing to write home about. The ricotta, though, was missing in action (we never got it), just like our server, who never once checked on us after taking our order. I think he said maybe three words to us the entire time we were there. We left hungry, frustrated, and disappointed by the service (or lack thereof).

We walked into this bar around 4 pm and we were immediately told that we could not bring our bottled water in with us due to their liquor license. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we pushed 2 tables together as there weren't any other table options for 6 near the bar. We were then told that we could not push tables together and that we would have to be moved when the band starts to play. There were no other people within 10 feet of us. The service was absolutely atrocious. This bar needs to figure out customer service if they want to survive in this economic market.
