Food was tasty, filling, and good prices. Cute spot in Downtown Basalt. Will be coming back to get my fill of another Chicken Sandwich. Our waitress was kind and food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

The staff was great and the food was amazing. I love this town to hang in. I would recommend this place as a stop in town.

The wings exceed all expectations. Mango habanero are numero uno. Came here 2 nights in a row. Bartender on point. Want a sandwich? Get the ribeye cheese steak. Want appetizers? Get wings, calamari and shoestring onion rings.

Cool old building with a decent menu and cool atmosphere. There were only 2 servers that were taking care of the whole restaurant and bar, which made the service somewhat slow, but they were doing the best they could. I went with the Brick Pony Club and fries. The portion was very big for the price but I didn't love it. The flatbread was overkill for me and I'd prefer regular bread/toast. The fries could have been something better than your typical frozen fries. I wish they were seasoned and unique to the pub. If those view things were different, I think it'd be great. My colleague loved her fish and chips, which she has had before which made her suggest the pub. The fish and chips were listed under entrees that had small print that said they weren't available for lunch, but the server said she could have it. I will probably try that next time. Overall, cool old bar/restaurant with a menu that offers quite a bit of variety. TVs are easy to see from every seat and parking was simple on the road.

Takeout from the Brick Pony Pub Great burger with chicken, avocado, and bacon. Juicy and satisfying. The side of sweet potato chips and pickles were delicious too

We stopped by for lunch - we were lured in by their brick oven pizzas and drink menu. A few local beers on tap and generous goblets that were very frosty. We shared some parm truffle fries (tasty). We got a salad with chicken (good but pricey - the addition of chicken meant it came to a $21 salad). Sandwich with sweet potato fries (good) and then a margarita pizza. Sadly the pizza was a HUGE disappointment. The crust was underdone (very sad for the huge brick oven in the back) and you could tell the dough was not homemade. Still, the drinks were good and overall a nice spot to grab lunch albeit pricey. Sadly, skip the pizza if you are hoping for that traditional brick oven taste.

Coldest beer in the valley. Wonderful friendly staff. Great large portions. Small town local establishment.

Really sweet pub in this little sweet town. On the historic block of Basalt, worth a stop if looking for a nice place for lunch. We had great fast service and everything was good. I had one of my usual choices, Caesar with salmon and it did not disappoint. Nice portion of perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of very fresh romaine with delicious cheese toasts. My friends enjoyed their meal as well. The fries were excellent. Really nice outdoor dining area with a lovely view. I would go back if I was in town.

In my opinion this is not medium rare. It's close but overcooked.

The way they cook the steak is not consistent. I have had great steaks cooked perfect and the meat is amazing but have had inconsistency in the way the temp is handled. When steak is overcooked it's very disappointing especially when paying $40. And the way they handle customer service is not consistent either. I've had great experiences but have also had very poor handling of simple requests. I get take out a lot from Brick Pony and generally love the food. I will not be back for awhile due to tonight's experience.

I was looking for a takeout pizza place on yelp and the spot did not disappoint in the slightest. Delicious mushroom truffle pizza for the grownups and my kids enjoyed the margarita and some mac & cheese. Not sure what the dine-in situation is like as we just did pickup but highly recommended for grab-and-go.

We went around 5:00 with our girls. It was a pleasant spot with good food and drinks. Pizzas were yummy! Salads were big!

Well, once again, never fails to go to a place that says it's open and be told. Sorry we're not…read moreopen. If I had no stars to give, it would probably be too many fix your hours. I just wanted a drink. People were at the bar. I guess they don't like customers.

The staff at Zane's clearly DO NOT want you there! My server Ella is one of them…read more Ella desperately needs training. I commend her for working. That's a start. 1. Do not continuously touch your hair. You work in the food biz, & we DO NOT want you constantly running your hands through your ponytail, then touching our food. 2. Girl, I made 40% tips when I was a server because I was warm, friendly, & authentically cared about my guests. Perhaps it's just your personality, but you were cold, not friendly, & mostly ignored me. Your $$$ loss. Here are some tips to provide good service: 1. Smile & make your guests feel welcomed. 2. Do not ignore them for 15 minutes after you serve water. Please take their order w/in 5 minutes.. 3. Work on your aloofness. Be warm. I am an extremely generous tipper when I have good service. You made me feel like you wanted me to leave. 4. Check in on your guests to see if they need drink refills--especially when they are eating spicy food. 5. Your livelihood depends on your demeanor. Be friendly if you would like a nice tip. If not, you deserve zero! My food was fine for what Zane's is. But a meal is ruined by bad service. Warm, friendly, excellent service can make all the difference in the world when the food is mediocre. Let's do better next time! :)
