    This is my 2nd purchase from The Brick in Calgary Deerfoot Meadows. The 1st time I bought a sofa, chair, side table, and an area carpet. I could not have been happier. Logan was my sales rep. This 2nd purchase is the same. Excellent sales guy (Logan again) excellent delivery team, and I will definitely shop there again. Logan is exceptional. He really respected my budget, and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. He was very knowledgeable about the products that he was selling. I appreciated that. I was about to get a $1200 fridge and he directed me to a $900 one. That allowed me to get a painting as well that I had had my eye on. Thank you again Logan and The Brick.

    if I could give zero stars I would. Don't bother purchasing warranty with this company as they won't grant it. They lie on the phone about how to submit claims and than proceed to tell you that what do you expect when you purchased this product in 2021 even though I purchased 5 year warranty. Very disappointed in the way it was handled. I was told this is normal wear and tear even though I told them I store my furniture inside in the winter

    Started out great, had friendly service at the storefront. Purchased a bed frame. They no longer…read moreoffer in store pick up so you are forced to pay delivery fee regardless of size of the item. Bed frame was delivered and was 6" longer than was listed on the website and therefore didn't fit in our small bedroom. Very disappointing considering we specifically selected this model given our space constraints. Cannot trust measurements online. When returning, had to defend my story with images of it not fitting in the room in order to get the refund which took four days to "approve". Once they accepted the return, I then had to keep the bed frame for over three weeks due to pick up driver availability. They finally picked up the bed and no refund was processed on my card after four business days. I had to call Mobilia support and inquire. They only issued the refund after I called and provided my card number. So, had I not called or kept an eye for the refund they would have just kept my money? Nice furniture for a decent price if you're looking for mid-line, but I will not be shopping here again. If it doesn't work out, it's a nightmare to get your item returned and refunded.

We were told that it would come in June, but we still don't have it because it hasn't arrived at the port of Montreal. We've been told to call back in September. When we went shopping in store our experience was good with the sale representatives there, but the delivery people who dropped off our dining room chairs, a bench and lamps were rude and dismissive. I had asked for the delivery guys to wear masks before coming into my house because I explained that I had a newborn. One of them put up a big fuss saying that he has been wearing a mask for 2 years and he is tired of it. He also said that he has kids of his own as if this justified him not wanting to wear a mask in my house as per my request (so much for client service and respect). He refused to come in to set up the lamp, so he put it together on my front porch and was about to leave it there when I called him out for it. I politely explained that the delivery was supposed to be "white glove service" meaning they put the items together and place it where you want it in the house. He didn't like that. I had to argue with him to put on a mask and to put the lamp in my basement, but he eventually did. The other delivery guys didn't bother to assemble the other lamp and dining room bench - my husband ended up having to do it. We liked the product offerings at Mobilia and that's why we bought from there, but the client service is awful once you leave the store. Fair warning to those who decide to buy furniture here!

We visited a…read morestore across the border that we love to go to, because not only is their customer service stellar, but their prices are excellent, and everything they sell is made in Canada. Nothing they sell is from the far east. We fell in love with a reclining love seat by Bugatti Design. And, then we saw the price tag. Yikes! Trying to find something close, but without the price tag was next to impossible. We like nice things, but are of modest means. We visited a few more stores to explore options, including Structube, which is one of our go-to spots. But, wait times are ridiculous to have stuff arrive. And, it's from the far east. Mobilia was on out visit list too. But, alas, same thing. The stuff we liked that was Canadian made was out of reach. We did find one that we liked, but also from the far east, with a 6 month wait time. Upper Room wasn't even really on our radar, until I noticed that they also sell Bugatti Design. They had the one we liked on the floor, but they also had many other Canadian made options. Anabelle was our salesperson. Very personable. Best of all, if she didn't have an answer to a question, she went to find out. No off-the-cuff answer to quickly close a sale, as found in WAY TOO MANY stores. We settled - and fell in love - with a love seat from Palliser. Canadian made, and a quarter of the price of the Bugatti. Deposit made. Fingers crossed it arrive in February. I'll update this review once delivery is made.

    Expensive. Incompetent. Non-existent customer service…read more My wife and I purchased a reclining loveseat from the Nepean store. There have been several problems, with ZERO useful response from the UR. To be clear, we visited the showroom, sat in the model of chair we wanted, tried all the features and placed our order with the salesman for more than $4000, including tax. We were very clear when placing our order that the loveseat, as assembled, would not fit through our passageways, and were assured that (after he went away and said that he checked) that the shipping dimensions were smaller than the passage. We were told the delivery would be in approximately 3 months, and that we would get bi-weekly updates on delivery status. So, what actually happened? 1. Bi-weekly updates happened once. A couple more trickled in, including one to say delivery was delayed until mid July. Mid July came and went, with no word from UR. We asked again. Early August we were told. Mid August it arrived. 2. The loveseat arrived fully assembled, and the delivery guys disassembled it while while it was balanced on the top step of our porch. However, when disassembled, there was still a middle back support which made it too big to properly pass through our home. So, the delivery men damaged a wall and scuffed our recently painted wall. Not tragic, but this is why we asked before we bought, and were either lied to or the salesman was just a clown (which I suspect based upon the following {3.}). We reported this, and were asked to send photos, which we did. Two weeks on, no follow up from the UR. 3. As mentioned above, we sat in and ordered the model of chair we liked. It had powered recline, powered headrest, and POWERED LUMBAR SUPPORT. Upon ordering, and handing over more than $2000 as a deposit, we eagerly awaited delivery. 5 months later, the loveseat arrives. A lower model, WITHOUT LUMBAR SUPPORT. Apparently, the clown of a salesman ordered the wrong model. Which we could have figured out earlier had we decoded the model information on the invoice. But there was no information on the invoice, we had to find that on the website, after the wrong chair arrived. As well, we had sat in the floor model, tried out all the functionality, and clearly stated that this was what we wanted to purchase. And what was on the invoice clearly showed everything we expected, manufacturer, product line, powered reclining loveseat. Anyhow, I phoned UR last week to tell them about their screw-up, and ask what can be done. "We will make an investigation" I was told. Apparently, investigations go into the same dead letter box where they send reports of delivery damage. So, my advice regarding the UR is to avoid them. Or maybe go in to see what you like and then buy it from someone honest and competent. UR appear to be neither

We loved that it's a local store and we try to support local in our purchases whenever possible. They have a variety of furniture on the floor as well as decor of all kinds. The team at Blueprint Home was absolutely great! Karrie and Kim were very knowledgeable and helpful when we explained to them what we were looking for. We could tell that they are passionate about what they do and actually care about providing excellent service to their clients. We ended up buying a Lind leather couch and love seat for a good deal. We ordered them in July and we were expecting to receive them at the end of November, but the shipment arrived early November instead. It was a pleasant surprise! The white glove delivery experience was amazing and we're very content with our overall experience with Blueprint Home. We're planning on going back to get more furniture and decor there in the future. We highly recommend them!

    Yesterday i went to return an item. I was told the returns was down as the person dealing with this…read morewas not in. I asked to see the manager to discuss this further and upon the manager arriving I got the exact same response. I asked the manager whether I was able to able to exchange the product for another item and if there are able to manually write down the item for which i had a receipt for and was still declined. When the manager noticed my frustration, in-order to get rid of me I was told to please go ahead and make a complaint if i was not happy about the service. Me personally being in the customer service business I definitely though this was highly un-professional and that this situation could have been dealt with better or for CT to have a back-up plan in place.

It is now 14 weeks later and we still do not have our furniture. Multiple phone calls to the owners have been made and we still do not know when we will receive our table and chairs. We were led to believe that our furniture was being made by the owners and they finally admitted during my last phone call to them that our order has been out sourced. Where and to whom I do not know. I made a down payment that I truly regret making. I will never purchase anything from the Emporium again and caution everyone to avoid custom orders at this store because the owners over promise, raise expectations, and do not meet their deliverable deadline. Further, they have misrepresented themselves as on site furniture makers. We fell for a great sales pitch and are now dealing with poor excuses. We have a sinking feeling that we may never receive our table and chairs. If the owners treat everyone this way, they do not deserve business.
